I have never been to dental office with this poor of service and inadequate conditions. All the equipment looked incredibly outdated, and I'm honestly concerned that they don't sterilize their instruments properly. It's a small office, but it was just Dr. Lee and a dental assistant; they didn't even have a receptionist there to answer the phone, so the assistant had to run back and forth to answer calls. My teeth cleaning was uncomfortable to say the least, I had to ask for a fluoride treatment, and they didn't even give me a toothbrush afterwards. Horrible experience. Please save yourself the trouble and seek dental care with someone more reliable - I honestly wouldn't feel safe having work on my teeth done here.

Unfortunately, my experience with the billing department has been extremely frustrating. I was required to pay a large amount upfront based on what I was told I owed. After reviewing my insurance benefits, it appears I may have been overcharged. To make matters worse, I later learned that one of my procedures was never submitted to my insurance because I was told it wasn't covered. After contacting my insurance company directly, I was informed that the procedure is actually covered at 50% and that a claim should have been submitted. More than three months later, I am still waiting for this billing issue to be resolved and I am still waiting for my refund of the overpayment. I have made multiple requests for updates, but the process has been unnecessarily slow and frustrating. My advice to future patients is to verify your insurance benefits yourself, review every Explanation of Benefits (EOB), and don't assume the amount you're asked to pay upfront is accurate. If you're told a procedure isn't covered, call your insurance company to confirm before accepting that answer. The dental treatment deserves praise, but the billing practices--including requiring large upfront payments, failing to submit a covered insurance claim, and taking months to resolve an overpayment refund--significantly diminished my overall experience. I hope the office improves its billing processes because good clinical care should be matched by accurate, transparent, and responsive customer service.

In a first appointment typically you would expect a cleaning polishing flossing of teeth, which is 100% covered by our insurance that was not completed. Even though that was what was the purpose of the appointment was the semi annual check up as we were moving dentist to get closer to where we live. Instead we were up sold a deep cleaning that took the dentist about two minutes from my wife and about 3 to 3 1/2 minutes for myself. Thus he is charging my insurance for a deep clean and then charge guests $500 for the deep clean. So instead of doing the preventative cleaning which still needed needs to get done since it had been over six months since our last dental appointment. I contacted other dentists in the area. Were they charge for a deep clean of all quadrants in the upper and lower teeth and it can take about an hour to two hours. It is very disappointing that even after phone calls they wouldn't refund the deep cleaning they did say we could come back in for the deep clean but why would I waste our time with a professional who is charging us and our insurance company for work that wasn't completed? When I contacted my insurance, they stated that when the doctor sent him his documentation of what was done they'll be contacting them to see what actually was completed and also our experience and more likely not deny the claim this occurred on November 30, 2022 at three at 3:30 PM, the sad thing about it is he is in network with my insurance and also had some pretty good reviews here on Google. I would recommend based on staff, but would not recommend based on the bilking of services which were not completed.

MetLife PPO) - If you need an endodontist or get a recommendation for a root canal, go to Dr. Bisquerra or Dr. Curd at Houston Endodontics. No one likes going to dentists. Even dentists don't like going to dentists. And I've had two different wisdom tooth removals by two different dentists gone wrong, so suffice it to say I was plenty scared when a new dentist I was trying out told me that I may have to get a root canal. He's actually great, and he wasn't saying that I have to get one but just that it may be necessary and that he wouldn't know until he was in. My mom said to get a second opinion by her endodontist who never actually treated her - she had teeth sensitivity and was told she needs periodontal and endodontal treatments by other dentists, and when she went to Dr. Curd at the Houston Endodontics, she was told she doesn't need anything done. So she got nothing done. Oh, she switched toothpastes to Sensodyne. She's fine. Needless to say, I called Dr. Curd's office. Let me tell you right away that Christina, the office coordinator, is AWESOME. You know how some people are just cranky answering the phone or makes you feel that every question you ask is a waste of their time? She's the polar opposite of that. Small talk and jokes actually help a lot when you're a nervous wreck walking into a doctor's office, and I appreciated how bright and warm she is. This, by the way, is after she scheduled me into the day right away. Turns out that Dr. Curd was on vacation so she scheduled me to see Dr. Bisquerra. JJ the technician was also warm and patiently explained every tool that was going to be used. Take her up on the bite guard - I've never been more comfortable during a dental procedure. She also took only 3 X-ray shots, and offered a fluffy blanket. I never thought I would feel cozy on a doctor's chair! Dr. Bisquerra came in shortly thereafter. My immediate first impression was that he's warm and professional. When I mentioned the fireworks pictures on the bathroom walls, JJ also asked about the picture on the wall in the room - and Dr. Bisquerra took the time to explain that it's of Alhambra in Granada, and the Moorish and Catholic conflict of 800 years ago. Again, small talk - awesome. After taking a look inside and at the X-Rays, Dr. Bisquerra gave the same prognosis as my dentist. I figured if I'm going to risk having a root canal done, I'd rather it be done by an endodontist who does 10-15 of them a day. So now the fun part... The anesthetic shots weren't as bad as I thought they would be, and the drilling and all that were fine BECAUSE Dr. Bisquerra explained things he would do before each step. Honestly, I had zero surprise and zero pain throughout the entire procedure (after that initial shot into the palate, which he had warned me about). Turns out that I only needed a filling! YAY!!! After I was all filled up, Dr. B made sure to check me through for bite and polish, and took an additional x-ray of the said filling to double-check it. He also talked to me about an appropriate level of post-procedure sensitivity in detail, not rushing one bit at all. I've never felt so happy about a filling. I left feeling relieved and grateful - how much better do office visits get?
