I am very sad as I am writing this review. I have been a patient for 28 years and my husband has been going there for 40 years. Unfortunately, I had to change to a new dentist after my Hygienist asked to do a deep clean as she thought it is needed. They gave me an estimate after checking my insurance which I paid. My insurance rejected the claim as they didn't think it was needed as they said. Parker Nicholas Dental office billed me for it and said it's my responsibility. For whoever is reading this review, be aware that you might get hit with a full invoice if they mis-evaluated what you need and insurance rejects it. Don't trust this office! read more

I've been receiving dental care from Dr. Parker for over 2 years now, and the experience has consistently been outstanding. He is truly one of the best. Today I had a great visit with one of their hygenists, Taren - appologies if I mispelled her name. She was gentle and thorough. The front staff is very knowlegeable, always friendly, helpful and welcoming. They know how to make every visit a pleasant experience as soon as you walk in. The newly renovated office is beautiful. Had some issues with my new partial to no fault of Parker Reid. Don't know if they are using a different lab but it isn't as good as it used to be when we first started to go to Parker Reid. But, even if the service at P&R is still good, it isn't like it was in the old days at their beginning when it was more patient care oriented than more commercial. However, today Michelle went over and above expectations as the lab, as she said, had already picked up what they needed to and wouldn't come back to pick up my new partial needing to be repaired as they had forgotten to put a tooth on the new partial ... Michelle was able to get them to pickup my partial Today! All my thanks and gratitud to Michelle! So nice to see a young lady who still cares about the patients! read more

Excellent care and service, with great attention to details. I'd been going to another dentist for the past 20 years and changed to Dr. Nickolas earlier this year for preventive care. Recently I needed a crown replaced and dreaded the thought of going through all the pain, mental and physical. When my old dentist installed a crown it took 3 visits and 2-3 weeks waiting for the crown to be fabricated, the process was a month. Taking impressions, temporary crown, fitting and refitting, terrible experience. Going into Dr. Nickolas examing room was like going from the dark ages into the future. Huge monitor showing you every detail of X-rays and photographs of your teeth and inside your mouth. The entire crown removal and replacement only took 1:45 minutes and I walked out with the new crown installed and NO return visits required. The state-of-the-art equipment allowed them to take all the measurements the 20 minutes later they returned with a PERFECT fitting crown. Completely Painless!! I kept asking myself why hadn't I learned of this before. Great staff and accommodations! read more

Parker Nickolas Read Dental does a great job of taking care of their patients. They are knowledgeable and use the latest technology for the benefit of each patient. Dr. Read is upbeat, positive and reassuring when he examines you and skillfully performs any procedure needed on your teeth. He is an excellent communicator and takes the time needed to answer all questions. He's quite good with children, too. I've had cleanings, fillings and other procedures and have been very pleased with my dental experiences at this office. This has been the absolute worst experience I have had with a dental office. The procedure was a difficult extraction ( the tooth had a root canal and a post). The procedure was good but the after care was a nightmare. I waited for my pharmacy to contact me for the pain medication and antibiotics. I finally contacted the pharmacy and they had not received anything from my dentist! I called the dental office immediately and got the answering service and explained the situation. They assured me someone would get back to me. After waiting an hour and I then called the pharmacy. They checked their messages and informed me that it was illegal to fill the pain medication over the phone and the antibiotic prescription had cut off so they did not know what I needed. I called the answering service back and they said they would send another message to the dentist on call. I waited another hour and called the pharmacy and the same thing happened again with the antibiotic and did not get a full description of the antibiotic. I called the answering service again and told them that the pharmacy closed within the hour and needed some urgency in handling this grievous mistake on the dental office. Again no call from the dentist on call until 8:00 when the pharmacy had closed. She told me to take ibuprofen and Tylenol and I would have to wait until morning. I'm in excruciating pain and this is the best the could do. And again no apologies... The next morning I called the office at 8am and she spoke to the dentist and said he had electronically sent it in. I called the pharmacy to see when it would be ready and they had sent in an antibiotic that I was allergic to and had informed the dental assistant the day before to make sure it was not that one. Still no apology from the office. Finally my son is waiting at the pharmacy left only to make a second trip to retrieve the correct antibiotics. Still no call from the dentist or anyone to check on me after this surgery or follow up about the medication, etc. I have been a patient at this office for the past 60+ years (I started there as a child)! I am distressed and sad that I now feel I have to go elsewhere where I feel like I am taken care of. Especially considering the amount of money I have spent over the years. This on procedure was almost 800.00! read more

I have been coming to PNR since 2017. I think this the longest time to see the same dentist for me. Even though it's now more of a drive for me, I still plan on staying with PNR. The service I have received is wonderful. I see Dr Nicholas but I would see any because I have full confidence in them all. They always make time for me and try to work with my schedule. Had somewhat of an emergency with two upper front teeth falling out and a very shape pin/post sticking out from side that was a real concern since I'm on blood thinner. Staff was AMAZING at getting me in within a couple hours of my call. Megan, the dental assistant was AWESOME. Very sharp and answered so many questions. I already have a rotating dentist- due to retirement or dra leaving the practice I do not appreciate not being notified of the change in hygienist I did at least get to see the dentist I saw 6 months ago. Great place. Good dentist(s). I've seen all 4, all 4 are different but all knowledgeable and caring. Awesome dental hygienist (Andrea and Sarah) are top notch! Worth every penny! I would say this is possibly one of the best places I've been in my 30+ years. If you care about your dental health, so do these Drs and staff. *** if I had to find one thing to complain about and/or bring attention to, to help the place out would be: one of the females who is in charges of checking you out after you are done is not the most professional, she always seems to have an attitude, and seems to have such an awful disposition. It sucks that you get there already to a dentist which most are afraid of in some way, the Awesome staff makes you feel so welcomed, then you arrive to her and she just ruins it.
