Did not help with my acne. Just kept prescribing me new medications each month. I had mentioned more than once that at least 3 different medications did not work for me, then when I changed doctors the new one told me to give one of the medications another try. I did and it didn't do anything like I had said. They took me off of what was semi working and gave me 3 other new medications and also did not do anything and actually broke me out all over my face. read more

Wait time here makes this business unbearable. Waited one hour in the waiting room and no one called me back. To add insult to injury, 3 patients came in after me and they were all sent back to a room. One patient finished up and left while I was still in the waiting room. Unbelievable. Wasting one hour of my life was enough. I took my co-payment back and left without seeing anyone. Terrible experience. Wouldn't recommend this place if you value your time. read more

I visited this practice to have a simple procedure which was done quite efficiently. Check in process was fine and wait time to be seen was not extensive. The clinical staff that handled the procedure were polite, informative and professional. They deserve a five rating. However, the behavior of the two ladies in the front office was simply outrageous. They were fine interacting with patients but when they werent dealing with a patient they were loudly, extremely loudly, talking to each other about their very personal lives. I lost track of the amount of times I heard MF (they did not abbreviate) or the F word(again no abbreviation). I was not the only patient in the waiting room. The discussion was both inappropriate and offensive. What happened to professional decorum and work ethics? I am just happy there were no children in the office. Very disappointing! So I had an appointment with David Farag 02/24/22 at 4pm after waiting 30 minutes in room 2 on him I was over it, I got up and went back to the front desk to an asked for my $50.00 co-pay back what a joke that was they told me that would be a wait too of 3 to 4 days. As I was at the front desk I noticed the doctor into the room where I was he didn't even have enough decency knowing I had a discrepancy at the front desk to come and say I'm sorry I apologize or anything he just let the front receptionist deal with the issue like a coward yes he may have a doctors degree but he has an idiot degree in customer service. I called back to the office shortly after leaving and asked that he give me a call I'm still waiting on that phone call as well. Something needs to be said about how you treat your patients if I have a 4 PM appointment that's what time the doctor needs to be available for my appointment. Otherwise what is the point of scheduling anything here. I am so disappointed in the customer service in the representation of this place I don't know what it is about doctors they feel like they have the right to waste your time but what you don't realize is my money is my power and if you don't appreciate it there are 1 million more dermatologist in the world and I refuse to spend my money we're it's not appreciated, my time is money just like yours is you guys need to get your act together. If you have any balance on your account and try to get seen by any providers at the South Plainfield location, they will not even allow you to pay a little bit towards the balance. They want you to pay it all in full before you're even seen. But if you make an appointment at a different location, they have no problem taking payment increments towards a balance. The receptionist at the South Plainfield location said they aren't supposed to do that. That's BS because literally all doctor offices do that and to refuse service because there is a balance is actually illegal as this is considered a health care and medical facility. The other locations also don't discuss your balance in front of other patients in the waiting room like the receptionist did at the South Plainfield location. As for the providers here they are great so nothing negative to say on that end. read more

The south plainfield office is so beautiful! The staff were so welcoming and friendly. I was seen by Inga and she is simply amazing. She is extremely personable and makes you feel comfortable. You can tell she loves what she does because she listens and takes her time. The new office is spacious and very clean. Of course, that is what you expect from a new office however, for it being open 9 months it's very well kept. Parking was in the back of the building so you don't have to walk or drive around looking for a spot like some other doctor offices I've been to before finding metro derm. I am not only thankful I found metropolitan dermatology but for the staff that works there as well as the doctors. I've been going to metro derm for about 6 years now and do not have one single complaint or issue. I highly recommend! read more

Con artists. Would give 0 stars, if I could. This isn't even the first issue I had with them, but this is the worst. I went for a routine checkup for my acne with Inga, my mom also accompanied me because the whole regimen is a mouthful and I tend to forget things. But we were talked into getting microdermabrasion by that Inga-person. She told us it would be completely covered by our insurance, as long as I am diagnosed with acne. We go home, a week passes, and we get a surcharge of $105. I'm there completely confused, considering I pay all my copays on the spot. We finally came to the conclusion that we were conned into getting an expensive procedure done. They must not make enough money playing things fair, so this is the only way for them to make a couple of cents. Ever since, it's been an uphill battle of us fighting it through insurance and confronting this thievish company. We are about to succumb but learn from this review-this facility is a group of con artists. Please don't make the same mistake I did. The Edison one is a complete 180, go there. read more

Went and got Laser hair removal by Inga Bufano at the South Plainfield location and I have to say it's changed my life. I'm very happy and grateful I made that leap to get this done. With one session I am amazed. Can't wait to return and get more done! I would recommend. read more

Staff and nurses are nice but the dermatologist is sooo arrogant. He came in for two seconds, flashed a light in my face, then said something to the nurse and was about to walk out. I had to stop him in order to address my concerns with my skin - which he cut me off and very quickly and arrogantly dismissed. My skin is something I am very sensitive about and wanted an environment to speak comfortably about my issues, and this was certainly not the place. I paid my copay and never went back. Great experice! Staff and provider were so kind and welcoming! Provider answered all my questions and it was an overall pleasant experience! Very clean and professional. The receptionist was welcoming as soon as i walked in and was very helpful in accommodating my work schedule for a follow up. The only downside is since this location is so new the hours are limited, and a bit restricting with normal work schedules. read more
