Went to Ethos in Summerville NJ for melasma hyperpigmentation, paid $325 got a derma peel suggested by the Aesthetician, results was as bad it could even been melasma got darker no peeling, I call back and the only thing they can offer is to come back for photos and paid for another treatment. I met with Dr Soni last week and I was just so impressed with him. The rest of center was great as well. The staff is friendly and efficient. The atmosphere is super clean and relaxing. Went for HydraFacial and Dermaplaning. The woman was very nice who performed service but the whole experience was not relaxing in the slightest. She was very aggressive with the Dermaplaning. The next day I woke up to extremely dry skin and red blotches all over my face. Usually when I leave after a HydraFacial my skin is glowing for weeks. Idk what happened but I am so upset. Kristina has been my laser specialist for over a year and when I tell you she is the kindest and most patient professional in the world, SHE IS! I went to the Summit location to have 2 small tattoos removed from my fingers. The spa is clean and inviting and the staff seems pleasant. The first treatment- one of the tattoos was pretty much completely gone, however the second is still there, fades each time and I am now going in for my 3rd treatment. Ethos advertised a Mother-Daughter Brunch with unlimited mimosa's and hydra facial demos. The invitation also mentioned raffles and goody-bags. They charged $25.00 per person. When we arrived, we noticed a salad and some sandwiches in the entry-way. After checking-in, we were into a consultation room. Dr. Soni then came in and asked what he could help us with, I was curious about cool sculpting so we got some information. Afterward, we expected the a brunch and demos, you know an event. We were brought back to the front where there was a single couch and offered the food items there. Dr. Soni was very nice and so was the cool sculpting tech that did the in depth consult, but I could not get past the misleading way that they solicited potential clients. I ended up getting cool sculpting at another facility, if you can mislead me to get me in the door, who knows what other information might be exaggerated or downplayed. read more

The doctors are a husband and wife team who do various cosmetic treatments: botox, fillers, laser hair removal, etc. To be honest, I have a more favorable opinion of the male doctor's bedside, if that is an important quality to you. Experience was ok! My appointment was at 5:30 and so the receptionist and doctor were rushing through the process. I got a 2 minute consultation and was told to move to another room where they will perform the lip fillers. Process was fairly quick and consultation was not as detailed as other doctors. Plus, i was overcharged and the receptionist didnt apply the 10% discount correctly, next day i reached out and got my difference. Not the best experience but Dr Soni is very fast paced and rushes through the procedure, maybe it was closing time thats why, but did not like the ambiance at all! This is my 2nd time at Ethos for laser hair removal and I did not have a good experience. My first time was about 5 years ago with Dr. Soni. He did a fantastic job and I had a very comfortable and pleasant experience. After some medical issues, I re-grew the hair and decided to go back to Ethos. Dr. Soni is no longer practicing at the office, so I was treated by Dr. Petrowsky. My first session was very painful and I had to take several breaks to get through it. When I asked for numbing cream, I was told to purchase it at the front desk (this was complimentary before). A month later, I went back for a 2nd session. Unfortunately, the numbing cream didn't help and my 2nd session was worse than the first. I was shaking and crying from the pain - it felt like tiny cigarettes were being put out on my face. When I got home, my husband immediately asked what happened to my face. When I looked in the mirror, I had burns all over the treated area. Since I had prepaid for my treatments, I called the office and requested a refund for my remaining treatments. They were extremely courteous and professional, and handled the refund process seamlessly. Looking back, I think Dr. Soni's laser hair removal method was to start on a much lower setting and gradually increase it for each session. My last 2 sessions with him were a bit painful (to be expected), but because I didn't have as much hair, the session was shorter and thus not as uncomfortable. I'm thinking the new doctor started at a higher setting too quickly which is what caused the pain and the burns. read more

This review is for picosure tattoo removal, I'm having 2 small( but old) tattoos removed. Dr Soni is very kind and friendly which is always nice. I've had 6 sessions so far and although both have faded( one more so than the other) both tattoos are still there. I'm hoping after the next session or so I'll feel better. From my research most tattoos from the 1990s need at least 7 sessions. I also would like to mention that for whatever reason the laser is not painful at all for me! I don't know if I have a high threshold for pain, but I just kind of close my eyes and breathe and it's just a little bit of a zap. I can't believe how little it 'hurts' I would definitely recommend Ethos. The girls in reception are adorable, the facility is clean and the prices seems reasonable. read more

I love Ethos Spa and Dr. Soni. I've been doing tattoo removal there as they have the picosure laser which is the best for the colors I have in my tattoo. Dr. Soni is extremely professional and makes the experience much less painful as he gives me lidocaine injections to the area prior. I originally tried tattoo removal at a different place and had a bad reaction so I switched to Ethos. The other place didn't have as strong of a laser and they just gave me a topical cream and ice before which doesn't work as well so the pain was unbearable.
