She remembered my name after I returned an hour later before I even said who I was. She was friendly, kind and had a smile despite the ridiculous amount of people waiting to be helped. It's a known issue that pharmacies are severely understaffed, so Shakayla having this approach to service in what has to be a thanklessly low paying and stressful job meant that much more. Extremely poor service. Called them about transferring a…read moreprescription. They said it was ready to pick up and we ran by. That had only filled half the prescription. When we asked that is all the prescription was for. We knew that was not right and we made calls to confirm the prescription had the proper amount (this was confirmed) and that the other half could be filled right now. We gave this Walgreens the information and all they did was argue with us - they would not get paid if they gave other half, about how they were "just trying to understand" how it worked, etc. It was at least 20 minutes of us saying look, the transfer had an error can you just make a call. They finally agreed. Another 20 minute wait and we were told that the person they talked to was looking at records from years ago and could it see anything. Save yourself a big hassle. While there can be problems in transfers, they should have offered to double check things instead is arguing for 20 minutes and taking another 20 minutes to make a short phone and not even checking with us to get a current account number looking at account several years old.

When I got there none of them were printed because the printer was not working. When the girl at the register called another employee he stated that it was down all morning and that he would need to reboot it. He then proceeded to reboot and said it would take 5 minutes. Well it ended up taking 30 minutes before it was done and I had to ask again for them to check. This time they were able to print. The girl was very sweet but there was no sense of urgency or the other employee didn't even come back at all to check on the status of the printer. I thought that we would have been helped when she took the pictures to her register and by then two people were lined up and she didn't let them know that we were next, instead she helped them before us. I was disappointed.

After reading so many bad reviews of the pharmacies in Yuma, I was fearful of what I might encounter at a different pharmacy. However, I found the CVS pharmacy in the Foothills to be satisfactory. There were five employees on duty. One was at the drive-thru window, one was at the prescription pick-up counter, and three were busy in the background. The employee who waited on me was efficient and pleasant. There was a line, and it got longer and longer behind me. My main complaint is about their telephone system -- I could not get through to a human. You can leave your number for a call back, which I suppose is better than nothing. I also called the Fry's pharmacy for information, and I found their telephone system to be even worse. Thankfully, I can now get all my medications between Walmart and CVS -- it's just a matter of navigating systems and selecting the best. You have to develop your own personal network of resources for the purpose of staying alive -- do whatever works for you.

Solid Fry's in Yuma, AZ…read more My wife and I live in Mesa, but when we are in Yuma for the Yuma County Fair or the Yuma Fall Festival, we frequent this store location. The employees are always nice and friendly - even when they see us walking in at 10:50 PM after a long day of work just so we can grab some essentials and stock up our Airbnb or hotel room. Helpful if we have questions and quick to ring up our purchases, we really like the efficiency found in this location. It's nice to have a familiar store to go to when we are on the road. Makes us feel like a piece of home is traveling with us. Definitely stop in when you're in Yuma and see for yourself.

Customer ahead of me had a huge amount of items and I waited patiently while everything was rang up and bagging was going on. Customer had paid and stepped away and was placing her bags in the cart while I moved forward to make room for a customer behind me. While waiting, I noticed a bottle of lotion had wedged under the check writing desk and the display screen so I picked it up and placed it with the items that hadn't been bagged yet so it wouldn't be possibly missed. Apparently, that was the absolute wrong thing to do as the cashier got an attitude and yelled " I'm working as fast as I can!" and she kept her attitude the rest of the time I was there. I explained that I just didn't want the item to be forgotten but that fell on deaf ears. Sorry that you apparently hate your job, people and working Sunday but give me a break and everyone else and find a different career.
