Excellent! Stumbled upon this place and got several homemade treats and they were all great and very reasonably priced.

The workshop advertises itself as a place to "make chocolate"; I guess I interpreted this a little too literally. The workshop consisted of literally pouring melted chocolate into molds and then adding some toppings like nuts or sprinkles to it. While this was very fun for my daughter who is a toddler, I felt ripped off for this experience. Furthermore, that you aren't even provided enough chocolate to complete your molds is a little disappointing in my opinion. Others in my group seemed to agree. The chocolate itself is very pricy, especially for the quality. It was more expensive than the pricier bars I've seen at Whole Foods. However, if you go to the botanical gardens, this chocolate is sold there but for about 25% more than what is in the shop. It also would have been nice to have had dark chocolate as an option for the experience. I think just having one type (milk chocolate) is an easy way for choco museum to improve. While our host was friendly and informative, it felt like a stretch to call this place a museum. I did learn stuff, but it seems you could only access the "museum" if you paid for a workshop.

The staff provided many samples of their different candies. We ended up purchasing quite a bit for ourselves and for family back home. The candies make for great gifts. Bottom line is that I recommend dropping by here when you are in Puerto Vallarta. Good products, good service, and reasonable prices found here. Just watch out for the bumble bees. They were everywhere.

This is a great place to get candied nuts for only about 25-50 pesos a bag ($1.50-$3.00 usd). They have a wide assortment of tamarind candies and if you like the circular De la Rosa peanut candies, they have something similar that is a different brand but taste less sweet. The good thing is that they accept visa. If you have a credit card that does not charge foreign transaction fee then paying by credit card would be best since you'll get the best exchange rate. The correct address is shown on the business card in the photo section (284 Augustin rodriguez) If you are looking to buy souvenirs then there is an indoor flea market just a few doors down called the Mercado municipal city market on starting at the corner of highway 200 and Augustin Rodriguez. There will be a lot of vendors selling the same things so price is more competitive there.

They have an ever changing tasting menu that caters to the season in which it is in. None of the items are bad. A restaurant like this would be several hundreds of dollars if you visited in the states. The service is beyond kind and understanding with the language barrier. If the weather is nice I highly recommend sitting outside along the river. It's incredibly romantic. Please visit this restaurant if you are reading this. You won't regret it!

After spending 6 glorious days relaxing and eating our way through the city, we decided to have a special meal for our last night. And what an impeccable meal it was. We decided to do the tasting menu with the standard wine pairing and we are so happy we did. We were taken through a journey of amazing flavors, textures, food stories, and visuals. Each dish and glass of wine was described by our server with such detail I could not wait to dive right in. The wonderful reviews for Tintoque are absolutely validated and we highly recommend this fantastic restaurant.
