The prices are always amazing and what they have to offer are excellent. Come in for a snack or if you have a sweet tooth, they have sweet dessert as well. The croissant, both ham and cheese and ham cheese and jalapeño were great. All the fruit stuffed pastries, you can't just have one. I believe it's cash only, not sure. read more

We know this Bakery by the name of Eulo's. For years we have stopped into sample the Wares of this Bakery whenever we went to Freddy's Tucan for lunch or breakfast. This review is for specific items. We stopped in every day on our trip to buy a couple banana breads and a couple brownies. They were insanely good. Loved it so much. I was so excited to see that this is still open since I haven't been down here in a couple years. I love this bakery. Everything is fresh and I want to take home one of each. Lol. Everything looks delicious. I especially like the meringues. Airy, sweet with a little soft center. Same way my mom makes them. Yum. The cheese filled tube looking thing with sugar sprinkles is very good too. Not sure what it is called. I also liked the apple danish. A tasty bakery (both bread and pastries). It's inexpensive, unassuming, and has a good bit of outdoor seating. There's a cold case, an assortment of bread and larger sweets on metal trays like a proper bakery, and some "in-between" items: donuts, cookies, and so forth. I stopped by on two different days and was pleased both days. A chocolate cake-like item for less than 2 dollars that was topped with a little icing and filled with similar was the best sweet I had during my Vallarta visit. Also worth noting I was there in the off-season...I'd suspect the folks with the negative reviews are used to American "bakeries" where everything is chock-full of sugar and flavor enhancers. Keep in mind this is a Latin America bakery and you'll be happy. read more

Not sure why people rave about this bakery - in my opinion their goods are of average quality. You will find are lot of sweet pastries with jams, creams and all matters sugar. Prices are moderate and there is usually a good selection. The location is more convenient than the Collins Bakery. My personal dislike is that all goods is made with the same cheap bleached shelf stable flour, which makes for white, fluffy and bland dough. Acceptable for simple breakfast pastries but nothing special. read more

Found this place a little off the beaten path in South East Old Town. Cute little bakery with so much to choose from. I had the Piña pastry, which has two layers of an open-side phyllo/filo dough filled with pineapple. We also tried the ham, cheese, and chile empanada. The chile was cut up green/poblano chiles. The ham and queso was pretty standard. I took one bite of the crema...and that was it. I would like to think of myself as pretty knowledgeable of regional cuisines, but this was no crema. It was a custard--almost like a flan--which was wrapped around the dough in a spiral. It was decent, but I won't purchase again. All in all a decent experience, and I would try again if I had to. read more

A great location for folks in neighboring condominiums and folks strolling by. The process of selecting your goods is simple: inside the entrance, grab a metal tray & tongs then check out the glass front wooden display cases to make your selection. Take tray to the cashier & pay small pesos for (what I think) is underwhelming pasty. If blindfolded: nearly impossible to determine the flavors. Cheap doesn't always equate to quality. Eat your goodies outside at the stool/table area or take home. In my opinion: location is convenient yet products lack flavor. read more

Oh, Yarita I really want to love you. Your right by my hotel, and you look great, Your staff is always friendly and everything looks so good. I just like the way you feel. You seem like you should be a great place for a quick cheap breakfast. Your prices are good... I fear though you are just not for me. I found your ham and cheese filled pastries to taste undercooked for my taste, The Vanilla custard filled bun was kind of tasteless as were your cookies. Yet I hear so many good things about you. Here on Yelp, at my hotel, even from people I talked to. I am afraid that you may be one of those places that really are great at what you do....but just aren't for me, not to my taste. I will defiantly try you again, on another trip (i tried you 3 times on my last one). But I fear in the end you will loose me to your neighbors...I have no mixed emotions about Freddy's waffles with banana's.... or any other restaraunt I have tried around you...good luck to you and keep making your friends day start a little sweeter. read more

Cute little bakery on Basilio Badillo. I mostly purchase my empanadas and donuts from beach vendors, but stop in here whenever I'm catching the bus somewhere early in the morning. They have fresh pastries both sweet and savory, as well as breads and personal pizzas. The prices are rock bottom and everything I've had from here is delicious. read more

Absolutely loved stopping by for fresh breads, pastries, treats! A word to those unfamiliar with Mexican "baked goods," they are not really sweet and tend to be on the dryer side. I always pay a visit to my favorite bakery when I'm in town. The round sugar cookie is my favorite and it cost only 9 pesos. I must have a cookie each day. Thankfully the bakery is 1 block from the condo. The small apple and pineapple pies are another one of my favorites. read more

If you are looking for a panaderia then this fits the bill. It's a panaderia for goodness sakes. You will find the typical fare here....pan dulce, fruit filled pastries, donuts. You can't go wrong with sweet baked goods for under a $1 each item. I can't rate it 5 stars only because panaderias essentially produce a commodity. The Yarita bakery serves as a spot for you to get your panaderia fix. Its conveniently located off Basillio Badillo in old town Puerto Vallarta near all the tourist stuff. They open early in the morning and usually close in the late afternoon time. On Sundays they close super early, as I walked by around 3pm and they were gone already. They have all types and kinds of Mexican sweet bread here as well as donuts, Danishes, miniature pies. Like any Mexican panaderia its self serve where you take tongs and grab what you want out of the bins. My favorite here was their coconut muffins, they had tons of coconut in the bread and were delicious. I'm almost sure they make this stuff fresh every day because by the end of the day they are sold out of most of it. The prices here are quite the bargain, I saw people come here in and grab loads of treats walking out only paying a little amount. This was my favorite bakery that I found in Puerto Vallarta, definitely worth a visit if you enjoy Mexican breads as much as I do. A must for us every trip to PV. Their fruit Danishes are incredible. Every morning during my partners early morning run she meets Jose on the street after he's just picked up his daily order and the pastries are piping hot. She tries not to eat any until she gets back to the condo but rarely succeeds. The shop itself is irresistible and of course very friendly. read more

This review is based on their bread only. The bread is not very good here. One type of loaf is a darker whole wheat type and it does not rise enough during the prep process so the bread is very dense and the loaf is too small to make a decent sandwich. The baguettes are usually stale when we have bought them. I wish there was a better bakery close by. read more
