LOOK NO FURTHER! If you're a tourist in Mexico and overwhelmed by the panhandlers as you walk down the street and completely lost about who to talk to regarding tours without fear of being ripped off, then I suggest Mexico Blue Dream. It solved all those worries for us. This small shop is located right on Calle N 28 one block from the beach. Situated in what looks like a shopping mall. I was eager to visit a few cenotes on the last day of my trip. Unfortunately I missed the 8am call time therefore did snorkeling instead at 2pm. It cost us $39 (USD) per person which I thought was reasonable. The cenotes trip will run around $75 from what I hear, which is cheaper than most street vendors. This shop is perfect because they have lockers, hot showers and provide you with water and wet suits. The instructor AL is American and thoroughly explained everything we were going to do during our adventure. We were a group of 8. He made sure we were safe. At first I had a hard time with the breathing but he guided me through it and was there to help. Great company for tours. The snorkeling itself was just ok. Not too much to see. I wish I could've gone to the cenotes, but next time I will def be using this company again.

Julia and the dude at the desk were great. Had a fun snorkel trip and a boat ride. Plan for the excursion to take longer than outlined.

We had a great time scuba diving in the Cenotes with Marucio and great office support getting the trip coordinated from the states.

My initial experience was with Oscar, who was taking me through my AOW certification. Unreal experience, as I was able to get certified by completing my first two dives at Cozumel on Day 1, and my final three dives at Cenotes El Pit and Dos Ojos on Day 2. I appreciated the diverse diving experiences I had over the two days and Blue Life's communication, professionalism, and kindness. Blue Life had all my gear set-up for me when I arrived, walked me through the dives we'd be completing, refreshed on hand signals and diving best practices, which was exactly what I needed. Even though cenote diving was new to me, I felt very safe with Oscar as he helped me adjust all of my gear both before and during the dive. Food and transportation were included in the price and I was very thankful that everything was prepared for me. I went back to Blue Life a couple days later after Oscar recommended that I check out C-53, a sunken ship off the coast of Cozumel. This time I was with Tomas, who was equally as friendly and communicative about our dive plans. Not only did we see the sunken ship, but we also got a glance of a submarine that was piloting around the area! Tomas offered a great balance of respecting my autonomy as a diver but ensuring that I felt comfortable navigating this new environment. I will be back, thank you Blue Life!

On the third day, we explored the beautiful reefs of Cozumel. The entire Blue Life team was professional, friendly, and welcoming. Gaby was quick to respond to our questions before booking, which made the process easy and reassuring. A special thank you to our instructor, Thomas, who was incredibly patient, knowledgeable, and professional. His personalized instruction helped us become more confident and capable divers, and we feel very lucky to have had him guide us throughout all three days. Thank you, Blue Life - we'll definitely be back!

The numerous times that I was at Playa del Carmen, I was diving with Tank-Ha. I am truly pleased to see that they are in business still and from the ratings, are obviously doing a great job. When I was diving, I went to several cenote dives with them and a videographer named Steve from California. He was employed with Tank ha, or at least served their clientele on an exclusive basis. He and I got to be very good friends. I don't know if he is still there, or if he is still even in Mexico, he was about my age. Happened to recently find some of the old VHS tapes that I got when I went diving with Steve through Tank ha. After a dive day, he would take a few of us to his house, serve us beer and popcorn, and show us that days diving videos which we obviously purchased. When I ran across these the other day, they brought back some really great memories and I cannot imagine that the dive shop has done anything but improve. They were the greatest then and I'm sure they're even better now.

One day in Cozumel and one in Playa. It was a great experience. The staff is so professional and accommodating. The prices are very reasonable and competitive. There were no hidden fees and no surprises, and the location is perfect. We had small groups both days. The second day there were only four divers and an instructor, Dana. We had a really good time and will be coming back soon. If you're booking online and are a little nervous about the unknown, rest assured you will be taken care of by Dive Mike.

And that's not even a guarantee, I just think I could. I really enjoyed our first experience scuba diving in Playa Del Carmen. There were 4 of us with the instructor so it was a good size to teach and learn. I didn't feel too nervous. First they take you to a pool about 5-6 feet deep and teach you the basics which was needed for a beginner. It was my fiancé, myself and another older couple from Sweden. After an hour or 2 of practice in the pool, we got a lunch break and came back for the actual dives. We had 2 dives abt 30ish mins each and both were great. The first dive felt like a trial run so it was a little terrifying. The couple and my fiancé felt sick after so they skipped on the second dive and I got to dive with the instructors. So fun! The instructor Caro (I think that's her name) was very knowledgeable and fun. She was very thorough and made me feel comfortable. I loved the second dive because it was just me and the pros. Pretty cool. There wasn't much to see underwater which was kind of a bummer but nonetheless, still a great experience. The worst part for me was walking from the shore to the boat. There were tons of rocks that make it a very painful walk and the current was pretty strong. I recommend investing in some water shoes. Regardless, I had tons of fun and would totally do it again. For a little over $100 dollars, this was a great deal.

No phone are allowed during this portion, but there are lockers available to store your things. Our 2nd stop was at the Coba ruins, where we saw the Mayan temples in the town of Coba. It was a long walk to the main temple, but it was a cool experience and beautiful architecture to see. The whole trip was an all day adventure, but well worth it!
