Leaving a long overdue review for Jon from his work on my yard in January. I'm so glad to see he's still active based on the current review and hope we can continue to support hard working local businesses such as Meyers Landscaping. For the past two years I was watering my lawn all the time, sometimes twice a day during Summer and whenever we vacationed or left home for a week I was always worried about the lawn dying and all the effort it would take to regrow. It started to become a chore rather than something enjoyable. We finally decided to get a Sprinkler System installed and so glad we found Jon. Communication was great right away with super fast replies on Yelp and I believe Jon even came the next day for an estimate. He finished the sprinkler system in less than a week which is what he quoted with excellent attention to detail and a very honest price. The complexity was we were doing concrete work at the time so there were two contractors at our house at the same time. He set me up with a 3 zone system, the front area is exposed to a lot of sun and I always struggled with keeping things growing there. The cool thing is the Rachio system he installed automatically chooses ideal times to water based on daily weather reports. You can see the "after" pictures which show my lawn is still nice and green despite the heat and now I get to water for pleasure instead of doing it as a task! When it came time to replace the landscaping for our HOA entrances. I shopped around. I talked with nurseries in the area to get recommendations. Then I elected three companies to provide quotes for the projects. I selected Myers Landscaping and I am glad I did. The were reasonable and created the best design ideas. They provided a graphic depiction of what the job would look like when completed which made it easier to make a decission and we got exactly what was promised. The entrances look fantastic! Jonathon is very professional and works extremely quickly. He is also very fair. I had an estimate from another company that will go nameless for over $3,000 to repair some irrigation issues (a few broken heads, some leaking pipes, and replace some bubblers with sprayers), but Jonathon was able to complete his work for a fraction of that amount. Jon's as good as it gets. My home had an elaborate 13-zone irrigation system that the previous owners didn't maintain. He methodically diagnosed and fixed the entire system, and then installed new lines and zones to feed a new herb garden and citrus trees. There was no hint or suggestion whatsoever that he might not be able or want to do the job. I supplied all the requested personal information, wished him a great weekend, and he never contacted me again. I saw Jon, from Meyers Landscaping, providing my neighbor with a much needed clean up as I left for work. Let's put it this way, they had a jungle and I didn't think anything of it until I returned home after work. I was referred to Meyers Landscaping by a neighbor. He spoke very highly of Jon's services and recommended his Pro service option. So I called and left a voicemail with the owner, Jon, and within a few hours I received a call back from an excited gardener willing to meet at my convenience. I was impressed with his quick response. Jon arrived five minutes early to consult our property and he was professional, honest and a likable person. He knew all of our plants, trees, and even our specific type of grass! He took notes concerning our expectations, as well as told us what we could expect from his services. I was very impressed with his ability to make sure we were ultimately getting everything we wanted out of our yard. After the consultation, we were promised two separate contracts to be emailed in order to choose between the two because price was one of our concerns (we have roughly 10,000sq/ft) however we did follow the recommendation from our neighbor regarding the Pro contract. It covered everything from monthly irrigation inspection, fertilizing, over-seeding, weed control (both turf and flower beds), as well as two special occasion visits for when we have a family get together or celebration with notice ahead of schedule.
