Restáurant was right across from the bus stop. What a lovely place. We shared a breakfast. Orange juice and poached egg on an English Muffin with salmon. They actually separated our order and we each got our own plate which was well presented, and most importantly delicious food. The orange juice was fresh and so good. The poached egg cooked to perfection. The salmon fresh , and the English muffin good. I still prefer Thomas'. Haha. All in all a great breakfast, outstanding service and a truly charming place. I must go to. PS they do have wifi. Just ask for the password. Ellie our waitress was really outstanding.

The lovely lady in the shop couldn't help me but she did come up with some suggestions for alternative cheeses and we had fun sampling a few different ones. I walked away with an aged Italian cheese, nothing like what I went in to the shop looking for but it was so luscious I couldn't say no. I also found in the shop, (a HUGE surprise!) two Spanish sauces that I had discovered on holiday and have been searching in England for ever since. So I wasn't able to find my Mexican cheese, but I was happily reunited with two wonderful sauces. Happy days!

He also offers a slection of other vegetarian delicacies, but I am hooked on the falafels - with home-made chilli sauce for the brave.

Bäkehaus also offers loaves of rye bread and a plethora of sandwiches with a German twist (I spotted a pork schnitzel sandwich with cranberry sauce on ciabatta for £3.99!), so why not grab something here for lunch instead of opting for a pricey sandwich from Pret or a sad sandwich from Tesco?
