If you are a hummus junkie like my wife and I, you have to check this place out. Totally off the beaten path from almost anything except the new builds on the north side of Parker, this place is deserving of trek to taste the food. The texture of the hummus is perfect and the pickled peppers were awesome! Great olive oil too. I'm not a regular eater of Lebanese food, but I love middle eastern and Mediterranean cuisine and this place did not disappoint. The gyro sandwich was great and it's served in a long wrap which makes it even less messy than the "traditional" Greek gyros I've had. So good. Try it out! read more

I was so excited to see a new place opening up since there are very few options near work, but this was a disappointment. I ordered a gyro sandwich (which I thought came with fries). Nope, the handful of limp fries was INSIDE the sandwich... basically filling space that should have been taken by meat. The taste was bland at best. My wife and I both have the chicken Sharma. It was over the top good. Could not eat it all and was enough left over for next day lunch. The place is very clean and bathrooms are clean. Bathrooms are really an indication of how clean the rest of the place will be. Great atmosphere with music was awesome. Owner was not there and his staff was as doing a great job. We stopped into Mezza for lunch based on reviews and stars and we were NOT DISAPPOINTED! It's at a gas station, next to a liquor store, so we had some preconceived notions, but Mezza smashed 'em and then some. The place is clean and well maintained. Dude doesn't even have a freezer, so the food is incredibly fresh, made with care and served with pride. We had the gyro sandwich (tender slices), chicken shawarma plate (wide variety of flavors and enough for 2 people to share), side of falafel, and a couple of the proprietors handmade and bottled non-alcoholic drinks (don't sleep on these folks!). The meal was filling and light at the same time and us 3 grown folks got out of there for around $50, which in this economy is saying something. Next visit to the Denver area will include a stop for lunch or dinner here. And you can even fill your gas tank and get liquid dessert next door (if you roll like that) all at the same time. read more

I so wanted to love this place based on the reviews. I do love the friendly service but won't return for the food. I got chicken shawarma wrap and hummus side. The menu says shawarma is strips but what I got was cubes, which ok fine but the texture was rubbery and unpleasant to the point that I threw out half of the sandwich, which I pretty much never do. The menu also says it comes with fries (or fries are inside? who knows) but neither were the case. I was distracted by both the good vibe of the hummus side and the unpleasantness of the crummy shawarma sandwich to remember to bring the lack of fries to the attention of the owner. The hummus was delicious, pita was warm and had the great chewy texture you want with good pita, and the pickled veg accent was also terrific. The pickles are a star of the show, they should add a bit more to the plate. I asked to sub tzatziki for garlic sauce on my chicken shawarma. It came with no noticeable amount so I the owner gave me more in a little cup. Another disappointment because it just tasted like sour cream. I'm spoiled because I'm used to the tzatziki at Opa grill. Or anywhere, really. This was't greek yogurt-based from what I could tell, and had undectectable garlic, lemon, or dill. The owner is very friendly and accommodating. This seems like a place that could be good or even great, if only because the owner seems very engaged, but the food was disappointing which makes me sad. read more

The hole time yelp showed the delivery was on its way after confirmation of order, order was delayed another 15 to 20 min, ended up waiting hour an four minutes. No knock, no text, just us checking the door in case food had been left before we called about or order. No idea how long food had been sitting on the ground but was tepid. The food was okay, it was an interesting take as it was wrapped up like a burrito, no real complaints. Maybe more clarification that fries arent on the side.
