We reserved a table and took the significant drive out to the restaurant. Ambience: 2/5. Located in something of a strip mall commercial area. The dining decor is not impressive. Plastic plants and bathrooms located behind storage shelves along with a view of a liquor store across the parking lot don't make for a romantic setting. But as they say, you can't eat the atmosphere. Service: 4/5. Our waiter was capable. He was wearing a baseball cap, something I don't usually see at restaurants other than fast food joints, but he efficiently dealt with us and delivered the food in a timely fashion. Food: 5/5 We each ordered the three marinated and grilled lamb chops, which included a Greek salad and saffron rice. The salad was crisp and tasty, the saffron rice was delicious, and the grilled chops were downright wonderful. Overall: 4/5.

Did I say that Golden's hummus is one of the best? I think I did at least once. It is because of its impeccable creaminess. Awww...I can eat this thing almost everyday if I must. This is a tiny, more of a family-run restaurant type place. Inside is quite basic and yet it's never messy or dirty. This is a place you can comfortably sit and dine without worrying about its cleanliness; sanitation is not an issue. But most of all, you go here for the quality of food.
