That gave us just a month and a half to completely renovate our apartment before moving in. We met with several contractors through Thumbtack, but after our first consultation with QC Infinity Contracting Services, we immediately knew we wanted to work with Q. He was incredibly professional, knowledgeable, and transparent--qualities that instantly set him apart from the others. Initially, we had planned to renovate only the kitchen. However, after seeing Q's fair and competitive pricing compared to other contractors, we decided to renovate the entire apartment instead. Even though we weren't living in Staten Island yet, Q made the process seamless. We communicated daily through text, phone calls, and FaceTime, and he kept us updated every step of the way. Throughout the renovation, Q consistently checked in, offered us design options and materials, and sought our input before moving forward. I'm very particular about design details, especially in the kitchen and bathroom, and Q was patient and accommodating the entire time. Even though we had to make decisions quickly, the process felt smooth and organized, and the results exceeded our expectations. The scope of work was extensive: we completely replaced all the flooring, repainted every wall, added insulation in the living room and bedroom, renovated two bedrooms, built a closet, fully gutted and remodeled both the kitchen and bathroom, added multiple light fixtures and outlets throughout the apartment, fixed a leak in one of the bedrooms, and even installed a washer/dryer unit. Q and his team worked tirelessly--often every day--to ensure everything was finished on time. What truly stood out was how Q handled challenges. He always had a solution ready and resolved issues without adding stress to our plates. His team was respectful, professional, and clearly takes pride in their work. This top dollar company did the outside work on my row house in Park Slope. We had the place…read morerebuilt and sided and we put a decorative cap at the top of the building. This is the work they do slowly (5 months to being really done), at their convenience, but they do exterior work well. The problem came with the interior work. I asked to have a built in cabinet/bookcase built over one wall. The owner did not remember that I insisted I wanted the piece built out of solid wood, birch to be exact, and painted. Whenever you want painted wood you need to specify that it must be wood or many companies will cut corners. We wanted doors to hide the TV to fold back into the unit. When the piece came the doors could not be installed that way because the depth was wrong on the piece. The entire thing was built out of some crap pressed cardboard product which stunk of formaldehyde and fifty other chemicals - which was exactly what I wanted to avoid since we had two babies in the house. They charged $2500, needed up front, of course. Now, three years later that piece is bubbling from where drinks have been put down on it and since it's cardboard it can't be repaired. We would have had them remove it the day it arrived but after five months of construction on a job that should have taken one month we wanted to get our house back. They also lost the handles for four of the six windows we had installed and also lost the screen to a custom window. It took weeks to convince them that they lost it and that we need the screen and then weeks to get it delivered. Never again inside the house, but for exterior work on a row house - which is tricky business - they were better than the other options. Be prepared to stay on top of them and call when they vanish for a week or two with your house covered in plywood.

The ceilings were already in good condition, but they had a popcorn texture, and I wanted a smooth finish instead for my small apartment. I noticed the ceiling paint beginning to chip shortly after I moved particularly from showering. As time passed, I continued to follow up with NT Home Concepts. Nick told me he was busy, but eventually we scheduled an appointment for one of his employees to come out and address the issue 05/23/2026. On the day of the appointment, no one showed up. I called twice, sent a text message, and left a voicemail, but I received no response and was completely ghosted with no contact. I patiently waited for another two weeks in case there was some emergency or miscommunication for him to get back to me, called one last time with no one picking up. This is completely unprofessional and reflects poor customer service, especially considering that I paid $6,600 for this work. On 06/08/2026 I was able to find a second number on their website and called. Nick picked up and claimed his other phone broke, maybe not knowing it was me. After following up for another two weeks we were able to get something scheduled for 06/20/2026. On the morning of, he said his worker called off work and will come tomorrow. I followed up the next day and my calls, voicemails and text were deliberately ignored. I am now in a very stressful situation because I cannot afford to hire someone else and spend additional money to correct or redo the same work. What is most disappointing is that my time is being intentionally wasted time after time when I could have attended to other personal matters. I'm very disappointed in how this turned out and would not advise anyone hiring them for any job as this company is very flaky and unprofessional.

I had learned about NT Home Concepts, owned by Nick Tapia, from my neighborhood Facebook group…read more When I first I called him, he came within 15 minutes, took a look around, and shortly gave me his estimate. We had obtained three estimates, and Nick's came out to be the most reasonable for what we wanted to accomplish, which was a full exterior paint job on a cedar wood home and deck. He even gave some more ideas around the exterior, which he eventually fixed. When they encountered a task that was out of their scope (i.e., old rotting wood framing a window which compromised its integrity), he discussed the issue with me, and we agreed they would return to finish the job in the spring once the wood frame is fixed. Whenever I noticed a few areas that could use more detail or attention, the guys took a look and worked on that area. I found Nick to be knowledgeable about his business. There were 4 guys in his crew and they rotated on the job, coming on non-rainy days to paint and staying from about 9-4, even on weekends since he asked me if they could. The guys were respectful, quiet, and diligent. Nick was pleasant to deal with and was very responsive to my texts when I had questions. He appears to be super organized and his notes and contract reflected this. Be sure that all you want done is written into the contract. All in all, I recommend Nick Tapia and NT Home Concepts.

Nothing seemed to fix the problem w until after about a year, Derrick tried another fix that worked flawlessly! So, it took over a year but now I do have a shower door that functions perfectly and hopefully will last for years! I'll admit that Derrick tried hard despite being very busy and eventually got things correct. My other simpler experiences with this firm has been without issues.
