The service manager handed me the estimate and said I needed all the fuel injectors replaced and the wiring harness at a costs of $1,800.00. Thank God I was setting down because I almost passed out. I decided to get another opinion and had heard some good things about Goss Automotive so I looked them up seen that their mechanic would come to me so I scheduled a service call. The mechanic ,Derrick showed up on time and seemed pretty knowledgable, he connected a laptop under my dash and showed me the codes that were set and told me what they meant. I showed him the write up from Jiffy Lube. He started checking around and inspected some of the wires on the engine, checked the air filter. He had removed the big round plactic tube to make getting the air filter out easier and pointed at the throttle body and all the oil and built up gunk that he said was keeping the butterfly valve from closing all the way. It took him about 5 minutes to spray some cleaner and wipe it all out and put the filter and everything back together and had me start it.. I could not believe the difference ! The engine ran good again and the throttle was real responsive man what a difference . He cleared the codes and said that was the problem and if the check engine light comes back on to call him. So while I was still sitting in the car asked him what the damage was so in case i passed out it wouldn't hurt so bad ... he only charged me $80.00 Dude was awesome ! He saved me like $1,700.00 bucks and the check engine light is still off..

The strangest repair that we had done was fixing a side view mirror that had been knocked off by a kamikaze raven in New Mexico. Our insurance agent thought that it would cost several hundred dollars to repair. I am sure that it would have at any other garage. Tim used his knowledge of cars, creativity, and the existing mirror to effect a great repair. The mirror works perfectly! Across the street was Perkins so I whipped my car in there. The guys looked at my tire and said the nail had not actually gone all the way through, they spent 30 minutes ensuring there wasn't a hole anywhere else and they adjusted my tire pressure for all four of my tires (which they said was out of whack and that's why my sensor went off). When the gentleman handed me my keys he said no charge. I couldn't believe it. I really appreciated them being honest. I will be returning to Perkins the next time I have an issue!

I was told that he could fix my vehicle for a cheaper price most mechanics would charge. Ed also knew about this vehicle. I called him up and talked to him about the fuel pump situation and how much it would cost for everything.He told me that he doesn't want to work on my old pickup and that he usually doesn't work on older vehicles.
