A lil portion of my buffet
    Nette H.

Rolled up deep as always.. 28 people. We did have a small wait. Meanwhile we paid a visit to bar area to enjoy some michies! Buffet style with some menu items!. So much food! I loved it! Enchiladas, ribs, eggs, bacon, sausage, mole, menudo, fruit, drinks, and dessert o my so much deliciousness flan, pan, ice cream. Let me mention a Senora is making fresh tortillas on the spot!! The guacamole was so fresh just how I like it! Service was a little behind. Not everyone ate in the same time frame. Families that didn't choose buffet had to patiently wait a good while! Nice decor, friendly environment and very busy. I can see why because the food was really good. The skillet options was a favorite and menudo! Buffet til 12. $5 mimosas! Restrooms available

In a town full of taco joints, Mi Guadalajara stands out as a delicious sit down, full service Mexican restaurant. My dear friend and I arrived on a Saturday afternoon around 1:15. There's plenty of parking, some shaded (which is a welcomed treat in this heat and strong sun!). Mi Guadalajara is large, airy, bright, and colorful. You could easily host a festive, private event there. From breakfast specials to weekday happy hour deals and Taco Tuesday specials, there's always something going on. My friend settled on Tony's quesadilla and I settled on flautas (choice of beef or chicken- I chose beef), both from the appetizer menu. They have an extensive margarita menu- small and large sizes. Something to note- chips and salsa are complimentary, including the first refill. After that, expect to pay. All in all, we had a nice time. I'm looking forward to going back and trying more! Solid 4 stars!

Lovely restaurant with a decorated dome.

Absolutely delicious Mexican food. Large portions! I couldn't even finish and that's rare. It's beautiful inside with lovely murals and decor. They even have a fun faux Ivy wall inside with the restaurant logo, a perfect opportunity for photos with friends and family. This is great place for a celebration dinner. We were served quickly by our friendly server. They have a fun cocktail menu. The prices were decent.

Great selection of food desserts drinks and especially a great atmosphere. Reasonably priced, lots of parking and very attentive staff. If you're in the area, this place is a must. I loved the molé and the desserts!

I used to come here often for their Sunday brunch before covid and they had to stop doing it. I was so happy to hear they had finally brought it back recently! I still haven't gone back for the brunch but I did go to a family dinner here on a Sunday evening. We had a party of 20 and the service was excellent. Our server handled our table perfectly by himself. The decor inside was cute for the holidays. They had lights and a big tree in the middle of the restaurant along with gift wrapped pictures all around. The food was okay. My tamale was really dry even with the enchilada sauce that came on top of it. The beans were very good. I tried the chile verde and my bite was good. I think everyone was happy with their meals. I remember the brunch food being excellent. I can't wait to come back for that still! Bottomless mimosas too!

Ceviche - huge portion and delicious!

First time here and it hit the spot for sit-down Mexican food! I have to say the building is a cool shape and I loved the murals. We ordered ceviche for the table and I ordered fish tacos for my entree. Both were delicious and did not skimp on portions! Our server was nice as well.

I liked the rice, beans, fajitas, and chile verde! Had a smattering of delicious options. The location is very big and good for parties (top area is what we reserved).

This place was very good, they gave chips & salsa to start with which were yummy the chips were warm & we asked for all the salsas available they brought two different reds & one green they were spicy & super tasty I ordered the combination plate with a chile relleno & cheese enchilada, everything came out hot & freshly made! We had dinner on a Sunday night around 4pm and it was perfect because towards the end of our dinner it was very busy, I will definitely be back to try more items on the menu!

Went here again and a much better experience. Our server was great and attentive and the food was super. We truly enjoyed our meal and the price was reasonable for what we got.

This restaurant has some nice decor reminds me of the restaurants you would find in Old Town. The staff is all very friendly and provides good service. The food I would say is a step up, but similar to what you would find at El Torito or other Mexican restaurant chains. They have tacos, enchiladas, burritos, combo plates, soups, etc. a nice variety to choose. They provide you with warm chips and very mild salsa as an appetizer while you wait for your meal. Our server was Melissa and she was super attentive and always had our drink cups filled. We ordered: - Large menudo, this had a good amount of meat, but I wish it had more hominy. The broth had good flavor, but was missing salt and some heat. It's served with tortillas, limes, onions, and cilantro. - Two combo plate, we choose a wet burrito with shredded beef and chicken enchilada. It's also served with refried beans and rice. The beans had good flavor and the rice was ok. The wet burrito was a good portion. - Cucumber lime agua Fresca was delicious and very refreshing, served with pieces of fresh cucumbers. This was the star of the meal.

The staff are super attentive and that creates a fun environment! I came here for a bday dinner and I enjoyed my food. They had lots of options and I got the chicken fajitas, which came out sizzlin hot. My gf got the enchiladas suizas and they were super flavorful, I lowkey liked them more than my fajitas lmao. Its a cool local spot with authentic Mexican food.

    Sunday Brunch Buffet

Mi Guadalajara is now featuring an outstanding Sunday Brunch Buffet! Since they're my favorite Mexican restaurant in Esco, I was excited to check it out and everything was excellent. I was really impressed with the thoughtful balance of Mexican and American favorites, serving both breakfast and lunch type dishes. It's quite the varied spread that would satisfy just about anyone. I particularly enjoyed their Mexican shrimp cocktail, house-made tortillas, omelets, pork adobada and a penne pasta dish with diced ham tossed in a flavorful Mexican-style cream sauce. There's also a nice selection of sweets and desserts. Brunch is served every Sunday from 9am - 2pm and very reasonably priced for all you can eat. I believe there is also a special full-service brunch menu if you're not interested in the buffet. Highly recommended.

The first time I visited a few weeks ago, I had a really positive experience. The location was a little hard for me to find, but once I got there, it seemed worth it. I walked in craving a breakfast burrito and was helped by a very nice, slender gentleman at the counter. I asked for a ham, bacon, and sausage breakfast burrito and also requested that it be cut in half. He was friendly, said no problem, and within minutes I had exactly what I ordered. That burrito was delicious. The salsa station was stocked and convenient with self-serve cups readily available, and the atmosphere was nice. The people around me were friendly, and one gentleman even mentioned this was the place that used to be near Peterson's Donuts. Overall, it was a great first impression and I left happy, already planning to come back. Fast forward to today, Saturday, April 25, 2026 around 10:30 AM, and unfortunately, my second experience was the complete opposite. This time there was a young woman working the register, and from the moment I approached, she didn't seem very welcoming. I told her I wanted to order a breakfast burrito but wasn't sure what kind I wanted today. She told me the only options were bacon, egg, cheese and tater tots, or egg and cheese. I politely asked if I could add ham and sausage and pay extra, since that's what I had ordered before. She immediately responded that they "didn't have that type of breakfast burrito." That response confused me because I had literally ordered one there before. I wasn't going to argue, especially because her tone and attitude made me feel like I was bothering her just by asking questions. I then asked if the burrito could be cut in half and never really got a clear response. I also noticed the salsa station no longer had the little self-serve cups available, so I had to ask for those too. The same cashier asked how many I needed, and I said two. A few minutes later, another woman called my name and handed me the burrito. I sat down and realized it wasn't cut in half like I requested. At that point, I had to go back up and ask for a plastic knife and fork just to cut it myself. Which was not a problem or issue for me. I ate half of the burrito, but honestly, it wasn't nearly as good as the first one. The taste was underwhelming, and by the time I left I was just so disappointed. I ended up throwing the other half away after I left. Consistency matters, especially when the first experience set the bar high. The food was great the first time, but the service and quality were lacking the second time around. My honest opinion: if someone is having a bad day, they probably shouldn't be the first face customers interact with at the register. I may update this review depending on how management responds, because I know this place can do better based on my first visit.

There is a table of baked goods available. There is a seating area inside where you can enjoy your meal. I ordered the El Pastor tacos and they were ok. The meat could've been more flavored. And I ordered a side of guacamole for $0.85. I rate the tacos 6/10. The salsa bar was clean and had an option of mild, hot and very spicy. The heat was good on the mild. The area was clean and the server was nice and friendly.
