We decided to come here to get some quick and easy. They impressed us with the tasty food. The Italian was good. The flavor was full and it was hot. The ultimate turkey was good too. They give lots of turkey and don't over do the mayonnaise. I was bummed they don't have onions, but the taste was so good I didn't let it stop me. Being a local, this is probably the best "mom and pop's" restaurant in Tift County; as well as probably the most popular breakfast and lunch stop here. But however, the customer service is sub par and quite frankly, it makes me not want to come back. Not to mention the wait time added to each and every visit that I make. I only order the pimento cheese and bacon breakfast sandwich and each time I've gotten it, I've had a twenty minute wait atleast. The food is very good but I was late to an event this morning for instance due to my added wait and it's really just not worth it. Again, very very good tasting food but however, the customer and employee's relationship should probably be prioritized more if the business wants more sales; just an opinion. read more

BAKERIES: GOD'S WAY OF SAYING "I LOVE YOU" I love a good bakery and the perfect small town visit will always include a good one. This bakery is located just off Main street and an easy walk from downtown. It is cute and quaint and everything you will want in a bakery including a drive-thru window. In addition to bread, cakes, cookies, donuts and pastries, this bakery also serves breakfast and lunch. Since we arrived just after breakfast, we only purchased a couple of pastries (traditional cinnamon roll and apple danish) with the intention of returning the next morning for breakfast. While my husband made the purchase, I sat and reviewed the menu. The meal options were varied and there were plenty of healthy choices. Now, imagine our shock when we drove over the next morning and discovered that they are not open on the weekends! Nooooooooooooooo! Okay, next time this place will be our first stop! The decor is simple, clean and casual and there were two rooms to allow you to view the action or have a quiet experience. As we were preparing to leave, we noticed a women's group setting up for their meeting. This is the perfect place! Although this place was hopping, it ran like a well oiled machine without losing any of its warmth and charm. Those pastries we purchased never made it back to our hotel room. What a great place for lunch. Open M-F. Been around since 1959. We arrived a few minutes before noon & after we ordered the line was out the door. They serve breakfast, lunch & the desserts look incredible. Sandwiches, salads, & soups on the lunch menu. Neat atmosphere. Definitely would be back. read more

Stopped here while visiting from Florida. Doesn't live up to the hype. Shouldn't a bakery smell fantastic? Baked goods seemed stale. One cinnamon roll was about half the size of the other. I used to visit MiLady every time we'd visit family in Tifton. The food is exceptionally great. It's very fresh and is always delightful. I live here now so I can eat here more often! I eat at the restaurant about once a week when in town for lunch. I've had their tuna fish sandwich several times. They actually put a little egg salad in the tuna. However today I went there for lunch and first of all the lady that took my order didn't seem to understand when I was ordering. Anyhow, I ordered tuna fish on toast with potato salad and Diet Coke. When it arrived it was on regular untoasted bread. The lady took it back and it was toasted. Now as I was eating this supposedly tuna fish sandwich all I could taste was egg salad. I questions it and the lady came back and said the cook said it was tuna salad. I went up and approached the lady and told her that I had had their tuna salad many times and she said would you like to speak to the cook and I replied YES. The cook came out and I explained and she said that is tuna salad that we pit a little egg in it. I said I know that you put a little egg in it I've had it many times before here. I opened the sandwich and ran my fork through it and said show me the tuna and she pointed at it and said there is tuna. There was one little piece of tuna that she pointed at and I mean a very small piece at that! I took my tray and threw it in the trash drink and all and said fine!! I'll never eat here again. And I won't. This is one time that the customer was and is right! Don't pawn a egg salad sandwichReubeny off on me for a tuna salad! I have always enjoyed eating here at Mi Lady Bakery but I will not be treated this way by them again and in front of other people in the restaurant! Very very rude! read more

They have great deserts but the worst and rudest service I've ever gotten. When you walk in you're overwhelmed with scolds from the employees and absolutely no greeting. It's sad when you have to be the one to greet them. Do better Mi-Lady. read more

After inquiring about a discrepancy with my order I was rudely dealt with and spoke to as if an inferior of the employees. To my dismay I learn I am speaking to the manager. The food was good; each of the 5 of our party was pleased with the sandwich choice s/he had made. My wife and I stopped by to get an idea of what was available on our way home to Florida. We purchased 2 bear claws 2 cinnamon sticks, 2 and 2 other pastries.
