I went there today for their lunch special. The owner tried to sell me on their lunch buffet. Which had 6-7 items and all of them seem staled. So I placed an order for the #1 lunch combo (steak fajitas) for $5.50 with the owner. The food was average at best. When I went to pay my check. The owner said my bill is $6.99 plus tax. I protested and said earlier I ordered with you and I even pointed to the item on the menu under "lunch specials" for $5.50 when I ordered. She refused to change my ticket so I refused to give her my money. Only after a group of people went up to the cashier to pay their bill that she decided to settle my bill. My boyfriend and I love Acapulco! The staff is so sweet and nice. Crips she salsa come out right away and are always fresh. I always order the aros con pollo, and my boyfriend always orders the nachos with shrimp and chicken! Decent size portions at a good price. There are tons of items on the menu, and this establishment also offers a kids menu. We always leave feeling full! Parking is available on the side of the building! We have been here multiple times and we have no complaints at all. This is the perfect place for larger groups and they have plenty of seating. Mi Lindo Acapulco is a four-YES Mexican restaurant that FAR exceeded my expectations to the point that I've been there several times. I always have a take-away container when I leave. Their cheese dip is perfect, their fajitas are great, and for what I would pay elsewhere, I can get 2 to 3 times as much food, so it's great value for my money. read more

Good, hole in the wall Mexican place that serves spicer, hotter, more authentic Mexican food than some of the more Americanized places. Many different types of customers, always a good sign. Our favorite little Mexican place in town. The owner is so sweet and the food is very consistent. We love the queso dip (sometimes with chorizo) the grilled chicken nachos, tamales, and Mexican tacos! Flavorful salsa and hot tortilla chips are better than most of the others in this area. Unfortunately no pictures. My wife and l had lunch there yesterday and i ordered a steak dinner while she had a shrimp chimichanga. Very friendly people. We enjoyed the atmosphere a lot. Chips and salsa were delivered immediately and I liked that they offered both the house salsa and a hot version without my having to ask. Salsa was very good. Chips were cold but I believe they were freshly made. The high point of dinner was the delicious refried beans. You cannot get that flavor or creaminess from a can. They were exceptional. I'l go back just because those beans were so good that I need to try more menu items. They do serve margaritas which is great. We didn't have any because it was a Sunday and I don't drink on any day followed by a work day. Will try those next time. I ordered the Bistek diablo. Which is a steak coates with a chipotle sauce. Sauce was hot. Almost too hot, but I got used to it and liked it. What I cannot for the life of me understand is how a civilization as old as the Mexican civilization can screw up a piece of steak so badly that it is virtually inedible to start with, and as it cools, becomes progressively worse. It was a hard chew early and became just absurdly tough as it cooled. This is not exclusive to this restaurant. They all without exception do exactly the same thing. What is it about Mexican restaurants that they feel honor bound to totally destroy a steak? I'm posting this review out of curiosity primarily. It was the only thing we had that was just about inedible. And they almost all do that. As l said earlier, I'll be trying this place again, but l will never again order a piece of steak in a Mexican restaurant. This is by far the best authentic Mexican restaurant in Warsaw. The guacamole is super fresh and flavorful. Carne Asada is very flavorful and delicious. The Acapulco vegetarian burrito is AMAZING! The owner is there all the time, she's the hardest working lady around, she always greets her guests with a smile. read more

I ordered the tamales and the carne asada burrito. Both came covered in cheese out of a can and microwaved. The refried beans were also nuked in the microwave and crusty on the top (maybe reheated multiple times). The food lacked flavor/soul and when covered in cheese from a can it was not edible; the quality of the carne asada was the lowest grade of beef. The waitress could care less that I did not like the food, she simply dropped me the bill and cleared the plates which were still full. She also charged me for asking for a side of the green sauce which was supposed to come with the tamales. Whoever said that this place serves 'authentic' Mexican food is delusional/has never tasted good Mexican food before. Yuck read more
