Food is great lots of varieties and options. Service was quick and friendly. The ambience is welcoming. Definitely will be coming back.

I love this store/restaurant but yesterday I had a very bad experience. I went to find some spices. They had what I was looking for like usual. I went to check out and the cashier was not around. When she finally got to the register, she was still on the phone. Never stopped talking through the whole transaction. Never spoke to me even after I spoke to her. Very Unprofessional. As a fan of authentic latin foods, Im glad they are here. They have a huge meat counter. On the right you will find deli where you can have them build your burritos, nachos enchiladas any way you like. Menu is above the counter on a board. You sit at a small table in the store to eat, so take out is best. They make there own very large tortillas and chips. I see a bakery which looks great even though I havent tried that yet. You will find all the spices you need to cook with in the grocery area.Not a fan of the produce...looks a bit old. Otherwise I get the things I need for preparing my mexican dishes at Mi Pueblo. Also just to give my food a helping hand, I get a pint of rice and frijoles to serve with. Cashiers are slow but friendly. read more

This review is just based on me stopping in for some pan dulce. They have cases and cases and cases of pan dulce (Mexican sweet bread) along the wall. It all looked fresh and delicious. And it was fresh, but not so delicious. I got 2 puerquitos (little gingerbread pigs), a galleta (cookie), a cuerno, and an empanada de fresa. Everything tasted fresh; dough/bread was soft, and the cookie was the perfect not-too firm as it should be. However, it was all mostly without flavor. The puerqitos were soft, but there was no ginger or other spice flavor in it at all. Same thing with nearly everything else. The empanada you could see and taste the strawberry filling. But the cookie, the pig, the cuerno, all of them, no flavor. Not even an overwhelming sweet taste. Just non-descript and very disappointing. Additionally, some were 65-cents and some were 95-cents which is above average cost for Mexican bread. Because of the freshness, and the variety offered, it could potentially be worth it, but because there was nothing of taste in them, they were not worth the price at all. read more

Husband and I came from Boise we were so hungry we decided to stop here and check it out . We were surprised by how big it was and looked like a good place... the lady's at the restaurant had us waiting to take our order 10 minutes then as soon as I said what I wanted she said that it would take 20 minutes to make. Took them 35 minutes to get our food out and my husband found maggots in his tacos. They didn't ask offer a refund they said they might of not washed their veggies right or something. Went in for breakfast and decided to have an early lunch. The chef had just made everything fresh for the day, so it was the best time to have lunch. I ordered the cheese enchiladas with rice and beans. My friend ordered carne asada tacos with rice, beans, chips & salsa, and fresh guacamole. Honestly everything was so fresh and hot that the only complaints I have are the waitress took about 30 minutes before she took our order and we had to go up to the register to ask for anything we needed. I wanted this to be a better experience, but will settle with average. The store is reminiscent of one straight out of Mexico. I like that. The pan dulce is slightly above average. Restaurant isn't bad. The best smells a little gamey... I don't know if that's the temperature or some different cuts. Worth a taste, but not the greatest. read more

Love it here. Not only can you have an amazing dinner there, you can buy food to make your own. Their tacos are perfection and the service is fantastic. My personal favorite part is the amount of candy they have, it is a semi-large selection to choose from. read more

Mexican bakery / grocery store with a small restaurant inside. It has fairly good selection of foreign goods especially the mexican pasteries baked daily. The restaurant inside looks like nothing special, just an area in towards the middle with tables and chairs set up. The staff varies, sometimes very nice other times standoffish. The wait for our food was minimal and food was excellent. read more
