The only thing I will say they have to fix is the bathrooms- the woman's bathroom was busy so I was going to use the men's bathroom but it's toilet was - um, full and wouldn't flush, and then the women's had water on the floor and then it wouldn't flush. Delicious burritos, tortas, tacos. They also make amazing flan in house along with fresh made Mexican bread called bolillo. It was so good. The owner told me he is from so cal and you can tell by the food. There are plenty of good Mexican joints in town but this one has that extra something that reminds me of home. Quesabirria tacos were flavorful and the consome, which is traditionally clear, was well balanced. Mojarra, while properly fried, lacked seasoning in the dredge and fell short of expectations. Tacos Ricas, in my opinion, are trying too hard. I'd rather see a potato taco, maybe even just a simple Baja style shrimp taco with cabbage, but I realize the owners are from Colima. That being said, quesabirria tacos come from Tijuana so it would be complimentary to that. Carne asada is respectable, but in my opinion, if you can't spit roast adobada, I'd rather skip it.
