I ordered pulled pork carnitas. The refried beans were fine, rice was almost mushy, shredded lettuce was kind of nice. The pulled pork was very greasy and like rubber. This tasted like leftovers that were reheated in the microwave. With all the variety on the menu and how fast the food came out, I guarantee this was reheated in the microwave. Not just a little dry (with a ton of grease), but legitimately hard to chew. The chips and salsa were great. The staff was nice. This place was almost empty on Friday lunch while Chili's across the road was packed. I genuinely feel bad for these guys, but their food is not fresh. Easily some of the best Mexican food I've had. It's been YEARS since I've had pozole, no one ever seems to have it on the menu. Just as I remembered and just as good as every homemade one I've had. Carnitas beans and rice all fantastic. When in Point we will definitely stop again!! read more

Restaurant is neat and clean and has outstanding decor. Food is average Mexican food. Sadly the chili relleno I ordered came to the table stone cold. Everyone else in our group had hot food, but somehow mine was cold. Waiter didn't arrive to check on things until everyone was more or less done eating. This is a winner. It's a hole in the wall, but authentic and delicious as heck. Owned and run by a Mexican family. The service was super friendly and helpful and they were able to modify most menu items to be without meat. Prices are very reasonable. The building itself is being partially renovated/expanded with some walls on the way to the washroom covered in plastic which is why I give it 4 stars, not 5. From a food and staff perspective, it's a definite 5 stars. Get the guacamole!! They make it fresh on demand and it is spectacular. read more

Stopped here today for the first time right off the freeway near shopping area. The food was authentic, robust flavors in all the food. I ordered the carnitas, shells were flavorful, meat was not dry but moist and the right flavor, homemade hots sauce made my nose run then the heat snuck up on me! Hey, New Mexican restaurant in town. we couldn't wait to try it. My wife love Horchata, the Mexican Rice milk drink, and theirs is excellent. Really diverse menu, which is refreshing. We were one of 3 or 4 tables in the place and the service could have been a bit better. The kitchen took quite a while to get our food out, but when it came, it was well worth the wait. Excellent flavor and presentation, some of the absolutely best Mexican rice I've ever had in 25 years. Believing they will get better wait staff, and the more food they make, the more efficient the kitchen will become. Would definitely go back, the food was exceptional, well worth the wait. Update: 12/5/17 we've been back at least three more times, and the service and the food has been outstanding. We really enjoy this restaurant, excellent Mexican food. read more

Best Mexican food we've had in a long time. Excellent guacamole with fresh ingredients and good hint of lime We did not have to flavor up the taste. Our entree's actually had delicious flavor with the right amount of zip. We did not have to use hot sauce to give our entree more flavor. Family owned and super friendly service. Nice atmosphere. I read previous reviews that did not have nice compliments about the atmosphere a year ago. Owners must have remodeled. Nicely decorated, good sound system and very clean. Got takeaway fajitas. Was disappointed to learn when I arrived that they could not accept credit card payments because their system was down so only cash was accepted. Further disappointed to see none of the staff wearing masks and little if any sign of anything ending out of the ordinary inside the restaurant (in the middle of a pandemic). Just genuinely delicious authentic Mexican food. So many menu choices and I love that they offer to serve tacos either Mexican Style (cilantro, lime, onion) or American Style (tomato and cheese). They also make their own tortilla chips and they are soooo good! My favorite thing to get is definitely tacos fajita Mexican style and Nachos Mi Pueblo. read more
