Rosca de reyes...hands down the best rosca (kings bread) you will ever have!

*****This is a review for the bakery in the back not the grocery store******* Located in the corner of Newbridge and Willow you will find Mi Tierra Linda Market. Once you park in their private lot you immediately start to smell the sweet aroma of baked bread, only to overwhelm you once you enter the grocery store. Tucked in the very back of the shop you will fins the culprit for the amazing smell. Only the best pan ducal bakery in the bay area. You will not find the quality nor the price in any other latino market. The ladies who run the cashier are attentive but be patient as it can get quite packed especially in the mornings, after 6pm and weekends between 9-10am. Even when the crowds are huge and you get that small hint of fear there might not be left for you, don't fret you little gluten loving heart. The are consistently popping fresh baked bread out of the oven. They offer the sweet breads as well as bolillo and telera bread which are great for sub sandwiches and/or tortas. They also offer special order ahead breads for Dia de Reyes (rosca-kings bread) and pan de Muerto for dia de los muertos. Once again they guys are total rockstars when it comes to the special orders because they get crazy packed but totally deliver! Once again this is the place to get your sweet gluten fix!

Trying to exercise self control in order to not each two conchas within one hour, but look at how good it looks!

Delicious pan dulce!! They're always baking, so my bread has been fresh and warm. My only complaint, it's cash only!

Some of the best tacos I've ever had. Pulled in here to avoid sitting in traffic, had incredible carne asada and chicken tacos

It's been about a year since its opening and I am happy to find a Korean market close and…read moreconvenient to me. The service has been on point and I can usually find someone to ask and they gladly tell me where the product is located in the store. The store is huge, offering many items, focused on Korean goods but other products are available as well. They have an on-premise "food court" like cafe at the entrance of the store, as well as a deli section in the back of the store for more prepared foods to take home, like fried chicken, kimbap, bibimbap, etc. They have an extensive produce, meat sections and a variety of Korean specific products are available, from frozen foods, refrigerated prepared, ramen, snacks, cosmetics and the Basquia Bakery. However, I noticed that some of the things they sold when they first opened are no longer available and could be due to lack of interest or import cost. (this was also true when they first opened their Sunnyvale location). Their prices are comparable to other Korean stores I've visited, since they offer many of the same items, but I noticed there are items may be higher priced than the other locations. I also noticed they have some items that are not sold at other stores and for this reason, I keep coming back. Overall, it is a super convenient Asian themed market in the area. The other option would be to go to Ranch 99 or the newly opened Osaka Marketplace, both in Foster City or drive to Sunnyvale/Santa Clara.
