We had our wedding here almost a month ago on Nov 4th. They had several options to choose from but…read morewe wanted the barn for the ceremony and reception so we elected to do the barn flip. They also provided a list of great options for food and bakery items. I will say the tastings were better than what was delivered at our wedding but that's not against Moffitt Oaks. Melissa, our coordinator, was fantastic and always responded to texts quickly. All of my guests loved the venue and said it was so romantic which is exactly what I wanted. The selections for table cloths, decorations and chargers was amazing. You could get any look you were going for. We opted for floating candles, and small box flowers and candles everywhere. It was perfect. They also assisted with last minute photo booths and a last minute DJ swap. There were a few hiccups along the way but nothing they didn't resolve quickly and professionally where they could. Can't wait to have all of my photos to show off this gorgeous place. We have received so many compliments of what a stunning venue Magnolia Bells is! The venue is nestled in the woods, just outside of Tomball, and just 30 minutes from The Woodlands Waterway. There is a beautiful limestone chapel with a wall of candles that were all lit at our 6 pm ceremony. The acústica in this chapel were PERFECT for the River Oaks string quartet who were playing as guests arrived and for our procession. The chapel is complete with three separate rooms for wedding parties to await the ceremony start. There is a huge antique bell atop the chapel that is only rang when the bride and groom kiss- made we cry after ceremony just hearing its sound! The reception barn is large with a separate section for caterers to set up buffet allowing more room for tables, an enclosed bar area, restrooms at both ends of the hall and candles and greenery were everywhere which makes for a most beautiful romantic space! On the morning of the big day the groomsmen have their own large two story cottage for hanging out and getting ready complete with pool table, complete kitchen, and locker room area to change. The bridal cottage is just the right size for all the girls to get ready! Small kitchen, really large bath area and mirrors everywhere. There is a vanity area that seats 5 with mirrors and Hollywood lighting that is perfect for the MUA and hairstylists to prep everyone. We reserved the house overlooking a pond that accommodates 10 that is located on the property. The venue rents this for $500 a night for the wedding party/family to stay after the reception. This venue is known with all of the vendors we worked with as being their favorite place to work and set up due to the EXTREMELY organized team in place and just how perfectly everything was designed with the vendors in mind. Our coordinator, Alison, was one of the calmest people I think I have ever met the day of the wedding with so much taking place to coordinate that day! I had every confidence that things were going to be just as we planned and it was. She handled the phone calls to vendors the time leading up to the wedding to make sure the timeline was perfect, she made sure we had our few items completed and we were staying on task. We had not only one design meeting but three design and prep meetings with her and the team during the time leading up to the actual event! All of our family were so pleased with how beautifully everything was done and that is no easy task, lol! Magnolia Bells enough brought the wedding of our dreams to life and it was an unforgettable night surrounded by those we love. I can not recommend them enough!

Kathy and Jason are very accommodating, experienced, and great to work with. They have relationships with many local vendors, so it is the perfect place if you want to reduce some of the stress and cost of finding your own vendors. We had around 180 people and had plenty of space but was still intimate. Kathy did a fantastic job as the day of coordinator, and Jason helped with pictures and smooth transitions to different parts of the wedding! Overall we love this place and hope to be back soon!

The ballroom is quite spacious and beautifully decorated, with many options on square or round tables. Highlights are a large and well lit dance floor and contingencies for indoor or outdoor options. The venue holds up to 1,000 people which is quite impressive! They did offer 25% off a booking for attending which put the Saturday pricing at around $24,000 for the venue before catering options. I sampled their in-house catering options and found the fajita to be really tough, and the chicken options were just okay and relied a bit too much on sauce to offset the dryness. Maybe it was left out for too long but I would consider outside catering. The venue is also quite customizable for entertainment. We saw a robot dancer, a fire juggler, and an aerial silk dancer perform, and they could hang the silks from the ceiling easily. The staff seemed very friendly though a bit disorganized with confusing the sign in sheets with contract sheets (maybe that was on purpose? Haha.) Beautiful venue for a wedding or quincinera that is easily accessible.

So needless to say, we did not have a lot of time for wedding planning. Lynn- the owner- made everything so simple. She was very straight forward regarding what was or was not included in the rental fee (included: access to building all day, chairs, table, set up, and more). She was also able to recommend vendors that she had worked with in the past and had done a good job. All of the recommended vendors were Conroe based- and many knew each other and had worked together. The venue is large enough to fit 300 people, but we felt it was perfect for our 125 person wedding. While there was an option to do the ceremony on the deck, we chose not to since we were married in June. ' Ultimately, the reasons we chose Waterpoint were: 1. scenery- the building itself was very pretty, but more than that...the views over the water at sunset were spectacular- and made for great pictures. 2. Lynn and her flexibility. She allows you to use any vendor. It's a full weekend rental (no rush to geteverything out by a certain time the night of the wedding). 3. Outside of town (and therefore, much more affordable than the venues we looked at inside the loop) 4. You're allowed to bring your own alcohol and there's no corking fee. Overall, we highly recommend Waterpoint
