I recently changed eyebrow waxing places because my friend's brows looked sooooo good I had to try her girl. I booked with Dani starting in October and since then I have gone back 3 times. I don't get my brows done every month, more like every quarter. What impressed me from my initial visit was that Dani really took the time to plot out the shape of the brows. They offer waxing and threading, but I opt for waxing. For my recent trip, I decided to add lamination and tint. WOW - what a difference that made. I chose to do this because I was going on a trip, and thought it would be nice to have my brows look ready to go at all times, especially when I would be in the beach/pool most of the time. I absolutely love how they came out, and have received tons of compliments about them. Will definitely be back! This spot is located on alcazar in the gabled tucked away kind of by the Banana berry smoothie shop and behind a barber shop on the main part of the street. Manuela who supposedly even teaches, sells herself as a professional eyebrow specialist. They're out to get your money. I paid $700 for a job that looks like $200. I will post photos of before getting my two lasers done and after which are the current brows from Miami Brow Bar. I've been doing my brows for over 25 years. My previous technician unfortunately moved so the need arose to find a new place. I found Miami Brow Bar on Instagram and saw she did a nice job. In discussing my situation with them, I was clear and provided the areas that needed repair and adjustments before making any appointment. They assured me that they could and would work with me. Although nervous, I decided to go ahead with the procedure. Once finished, Manuela, appeared nervous. She did a darker color than my actual hair color. She told me to wait until the retouch to adjust the color and shape. During the retouch it became clear she lacked experience and care. She made them worse. Since then I have sought different opinions on the work and all have returned the same verdict. Still waiting to receive the funds in the amount of $100 back. I went in for a retouch appointment and was late to my appointment. I called and advised of such and when I showed up they asked me to reschedule which I did. I was asked for $100 for deposit, I sent the money and the receptionist said she would hold $50 for the "missed" appointment and $50 towards service. I told her she tricked me and I wanted my money back. Manuela was out of the country with limited "access" and could not refund me for a few weeks. I canceled my appointment and never received a penny after years of loyalty. The work done on my eyebrows micro powder did not last. They stole my money and that is not right. This place is super unprofessional. I made an appointment for last Saturday on their website. On Saturday I got a text that they had to cancel because they had a training all day. So I made another one for Tuesday. On Tuesday (today) I get a call that YET again they have to reschedule because the brow artist won't be there??? Why are clients able to make appointments online that aren't even possible. Mind you, I got confirmation texts for both appointments and the day of they get cancelled. Soooo happy I took this chance! I'm not particular about my brows. I usually go to brow 21 beside Nordstrom in Dadeland and they're ok. The service is a quick walk in. I've never made an appt there. My issue is that for years at that place and the benefit brow bar in Macy's one brow comes out squared and one rounded. So I decided to try somewhere else for once. SO. HAPPY! I randomly decided to do a wax and tint which is only $40. Regiane knows her shhhhh. There was all kinds of geometry involved and it took about 40 minutes and she was sooo nice! I knew this was going to be my new eyebrow spot the moment my eyebrow technician brought out a protractor and compass to map my brows to my face. Whoever said they wouldn't use geometry ever in the future had no idea what the eyebrow industry had in store. Honestly haven't been in love with my brows for a couple years now but today Miami Brow Bar showed me again how beautiful my eyebrows really are. Today I had the eyebrow wax and tinted by Regiane and I almost cried tears of joy seeing my eyebrows and how beautifully they were shaped and the tint was not overwhelming at all. I've had tinting on my eyebrows done before and each time the artist at this other place left my eyebrows looking like blocks and the Nike logo that I would leave there crying and later going home and wiping off the tint with rubbing alcohol. I was there for about an hour, but they do say that all good things take time and I'm glad I came here. Regiane took majority of the time perfectly mapping my brows to my face structure and I I honestly appreciate the time she took making sure my eyebrows were perfect. read more

All I could say is WOW! I too at first thought "wow $30 for eyebrow threading?" but you really do get what you pay for. The appointment itself is not like in other places that have you in and out. Asmita maps out your eyebrows to ensure facial symmetry and then works her magic. Very disappointed, If I could I would give a negative star I should have realized from the beginning they had issues, but I was so eager to have my brows done. Their communication is extremely unprofessional instead of picking up the phone they avoid you and just text. My original appointment was rescheduled by them 4 times due to training they said. Although every time I went it was just 2 of them So I don't know who all the staff is on the web page. My first day I was very clear on what I wanted even showed a picture I'm 62 and did not want a heavy look. After several hours Manuela the owner having to re- draw the brows ( would have been faster she'd listen to what I wanted) I was happy with color and shape. I was surprised with the cost she charged me 600.00 which I was quoted 550.00 This was just Powder brows. I guess this was due to the extra time she spent plus and I gave her a 40.00 dollar tip. So far 640.00. but wait there's more... she said to wait the healing time and no need to call her because they had to go thru a phase ( I thought rather rude comment but just brushed it off ) I followed the guidelines but after soon they disappeared, I still waited the appropriate time. at the end of the 2 + months I returned to what was going to be the touch up She realized what she had done did not work, she said she had used a Hempz or something more natural. So she did it again. I had to pay another 150.00 I questioned the receptionist she said it was not Manuela's fault. ( well mine either ) but I paid it. and then I had to give another 50.00 dollars for another touch up in 2 months approx. So far I've paid $840.00. but wait there's more. Finally on my last touch the form was good not what I had the original time she did it, but I was just over it. They were very dark when I asked her she said not to worry it would lighten. I left paying the balance 100.00 my total was $950.00 and alot of back and forth. 45 days later my brows are EXTREMELY dark they are a med black. My skin tone is fair, I have green eyes and I dye my hair medium blonde base with blonde highlights. ( remember I'm 62 ). I tried getting ahold of Manuela letting her know the color was wrong for my skintone. All communication has been thru texts. This is extrememly unprofessional She has not returned my last text over 2 weeks ago. I work in the beauty industry, My territory is all south East Florida which would have given her so much business instead all that ask me I tell them to avoid Miami Brow Bar. and have been guided by our make up dept to go to a professional to get this corrected.
