Miami Deli gives a good family vibe. The servers are kind, and the dishes are huge. Whoever was in charge of decorating this place exceeded expectations. Miami Deli removes you from the concrete Montreal streets and plunges you into a tropical eatery, which gave me flashbacks to restaurants in Acapluco in the 90s. The dishes are big, so watch out for those hungry eyes; they may betray you. As vast as the food can get, their kitchen is not as memorable. I had some fried calamari and a fish filet with almonds. The calamari were not different from the ones you can get in a pub. The fish was decent and saved the day. I would say that this place must be good for having drunk or hangover food. The service and quantity will make you happy. Their kitchen, not so much. I recommend it but with a grain of salt. read more

Great place for smoked meat. I think one the best in Montreal to my tasting. Welcoming stuff , decor is weird but food was delicious. Took the lunch special , a soup followed by a main dish (lI took the smoked meat plate with Caesar salad replacing the fries) . Generous portion , well presented and prepared to my liking. Love this place! I've been ordering take out for a while now and no matter what I try, it's always delicious. I love comfort food and classic staples, so a good poutine, club sandwich, gyro, smoked meat or pizza for example are excellent choices. The menu selection is huge, delivery is fast and portions are large too. This place is open 24 hours but does not deliver 24 hours, so just be aware if you are hungry in the middle of the night. One of my favorite items is the "chinese chicken fried rice". It's not really chinese food, but it's awesome. There are big chunks of chicken, tomatoes, and green onions which make it super flavorful. For around 10$, it's plenty enough for a meal or to share as many sides. I recently went for breakfast and was not disappointed either. I had their "miami omelette" which again was very generous with the toppings and portion. Compared to other breakfast chains, I feel like I'm getting my money's worth here. The only reason I'm not giving it 5 stars is the price of their pizzas. I wish I could make this my go to place for pizzas, but their prices are a little steep. There are numerous joints offering 2 for 1 type deals, but almost every pizza at Miami Deli is 20$ or upwards for just one. Worth a visit, there's something for everyone! read more

For some time we have noticed that the service leaves something to be desired: waitresses forgetting, children running in the aisles without the manager intervening, we hear them talking against customers, making fun of them and so on. . It was too late (few days) before I checked my bill more closely and realized. But a word of warning to check your bill carefully if you eat here. As for me, while it was only $3, I despise this type of pull-a-fast-one-when-they-aren't-paying-attention b.s.; I ate there weekly, sometimes twice a week, and felt I could trust them and became complacent. Ordered delivery from there tonight. Good, tasty, a ton of fries (more than I can eat but my roommate is going to be a happy man because of it) and well cooked chicken. My only complaint, which is a fairly big one, is that I ordered mozzarella sticks for 6,95 and they arrived cold, hard and were somehow accompanied with a piece of banana, cantaloupe, and orange. Having mozzarella sticks that taste like orange was not enjoyable whatsoever and just really bizarre. I wouldn't have ordered them had I known. Quick delivery, the guy was really nice. read more

The Miami Deli is really close to me and delivers so I thought it would be a good option when I didn't want to cook. The takeout menu is pretty standard and features pizza, burgers and other staples of fast food. Once you have placed your order the food comes pretty quickly. When talkig food the pizzas are a little overpriced and just not very good. I find that there are way too many toppings which makes the crust very soggy and consequently it is messy to eat. That being said I still have yet to try other things on the takeout menu so I would be inclined to give it another chance because they did seem more reasonably priced. read more

When you walk in you will be taken back to Miami in the 80's. This dive of a spot actually has great Greek food. We had the chicken dish and it was amazing. They also have freshly squeezed OJ. It's not a Michelin star restaurant but a cozy diner with condom dispensers. Usually a good time, late last night I ordered a club and it was served fridge cold; wasn't happy but apparently the cook says that's how it's served. They warmed it up for me but that didn't really help. It was a sub par experience but usually they are the place to be for late night pigging out. We had omelette which was good, over easy eggs, pancakes and crepes, as well as fruits, french toast and other item. Their specialty is breakfast although they have all you could dream of for lunch and diner... wait did I mention it's open 24hrs! Yes you can have breakfast here anytime of the day you want! The staff are experienced and friendly... pretty smooth joint. The decor is fun tropical flowers and trees + a waterfall are hanging everywhere and different fish and sharks hang from the ceiling... not your avg cookie cutter diner. Had breakfast here today. The staff was wonderfully friendly and accommodating. The menu is standard diner food and moderately priced. We ordered the mushroom omelette and it was generously portioned to share with my toddler and still had leftovers. The potatoes were so crispy ad my favorite item. In general, i used to like this place, but today's experience has coloured my experience for the worse. I called for a delivery, placed an order and advised them to call once they were here. At first the woman insisted on getting an appt number but my friend was sleeping, theres no number on the door and so didnt know what to tell her. I tried to explain. She put me on hold and told me it was okay. 45 minutes go by, meanwhile im extremely exhausted and hungry and have been watching my phone non stop. So i call them and ask whether they forgot about me. The woman tells me she doesnt have my order. I explain that i spoke to two ppl. She puts me on hold, then asks me if it was me who called yesterday for pizza thrn never picked up. I said no and then the women says after hearing someone say something in the background.. well anyways bye. Then when i try to plead she just hangs up on me. Totally disgusted with this service. Accusing me of things and then not even bothering to tell me they weren't bringing my order. read more
