But everyone I know keeps talking about Inter Miami matches like they're the second coming of E11EVEN, so I decided to go all in. Well... half in. I gambled points I had earned through hotel stays and credit card purchases via Bonvoy Moments. Marriott has a partnership with Nu Stadium, so it offers plenty of opportunities and refreshes them regularly. I bid on whichever match looks convenient and doesn't empty my points vault. After winning, I bought a presale parking pass for $40, which allowed us to get from the car door to the stadium floor in less than 10 minutes. For Inter Miami's historic 7-1 beatdown of CF Montréal, I bid 35,000 Bonvoy points, worth approximately $275, for two Club Level tickets. The package included expedited entry through a lobby that looked suspiciously like an Autograph Collection lobby, complete with a private escalator leading to the Club Level. A dozen food stations cater to everyone from gourmands to grouchy kids, while roughly half as many dessert stations keep the sugar market properly supplied. The Club Level also has clean, luxuriously appointed restrooms, which may not sound exciting until you've used a regular stadium restroom. Cocktails are available for purchase, but beer, wine, prosecco, energy drinks, and nonalcoholic beverages are complimentary. You can skip the bar lines, walk directly to the beverage refrigerators, and grab what you want like a civilized adult with excellent credit. The stadium offers great views from nearly every seat. Jumbotrons and televisions cover the venue, so you won't miss the action even if you temporarily abandon your post for another beer. Smoke blasts from the goalposts after each score, while the supporters' section maintains a relentless drumbeat of chants, flags, and controlled chaos. The match ends with a miniature fireworks display, but the real victory comes when you leave the stadium. The traffic planners must have hired whoever designed Chick-fil-A's drive-thru system. It took five minutes to walk out and only 15 minutes to reach the highway. If that sounds excessive, try leaving iTHINK Financial Amphitheater or Hard Rock Live after a concert. You'll spend at least 45 minutes trying to reach civilization. I checked the cash price of my two seats on Ticketmaster, and the total would have exceeded $400. That's steep when two à la carte seats can cost around $120, but a round of drinks and two meals can easily add another $100. If affordability is your priority, check resale platforms on game day. My recommendation, however, is to attend fewer matches and spend more for the Club Level experience. If you're sitting on a pile of Marriott points, shoot your shot via Bonvoy Moments.

I will say, the food and drinks are definitely on the pricier side. A beer can be around $20, so just keep that in mind when budgeting for a game. Parking can also get expensive, so I'd recommend getting it online or going early to find parking and give yourself time to explore the stadium. My only wish is that the stadium had AC, especially because Florida gets SO hot. I know not every soccer stadium has AC, so it's not necessarily a dealbreaker, but it would definitely make the experience even better. The game presentation was one of my favorite parts. It was lively, fun, and had such a great atmosphere. We had so much fun and I can't wait to go back for another game!

The Miami Marine Stadium is considered a masterwork of civic architecture and modern construction. Miami Marine Stadium has been the setting for countless boat races, concerts, and even religious services, In 1967 it was used as the backdrop of the Elvis Presley movie Clambake during Elvis's speedboat race. Memorable concert performances held here include Queen, The Beach Boys, Steppenwolf, Dave Brubeck. Arthur Fiedler and the Boston Pops, Miami Philharmonic, Ray Charles and many more. Phil Donahue once did a show here. After Hurricane Andrew in 1992, the Miami Marine Stadium was deemed unsafe. Today it sits fenced off and covered in graffiti. Plans to demolish the stadium in 2008 sparked the creation of the Friends of Miami Marine Stadium (FMMS) who formed on February 20, 2008,to develop a feasible plan for the restoration of the property. FMMS was able to secure a historic designation by Miami's Historic Preservation and Environmental Board. in 2009 the stadium was added to the National Trust for Historic Preservations 11 Most Endangered List. The National Trust of Historic Preservation has listed more than 300 sites and has been very successful in galvanizing preservation efforts to save all but a handful of them In 2018 the stadium was listed on the National Register of Historic Places. One year ago Cuban-American architect Hilario Candela, who designed the iconic stadium, died at age 87 from complications with COVID-19. Urgency to save the stadium in his memory continues. Last year Miami had plans to hire to a contractor to see where the stadium needs restoration. Bond money is expected to be used to fund the project. As Miami hosted speed boat races featuring the likes of Ms. Budweiser, the stadium was filled with spectators, and later on in the evening, the was a giant raft, which was still around a couple of years ago, which they used to equip with a bar and a DJ, and dozens of people would dance the night away, floating in the basin. As those days faded away, the stadium was left to rot away, and now it has become what it is. Marked as a Miami historic site, it cannot be demolished, and no company is willing to take the responsibility of fixing it up, as the damage to its core is pretty significant. The stadium is closed to public, but you can get a good view of it from the basin. If you paddle a small boat, you can go under the stadium and see that it is covered with graffiti. I see the stadium several times a week, and every time I look at it, it makes me sad, thinking about how beautiful it once was, and now it is left to rot

I recommend brining your own mat for extra cushion and a type of pillow for head support if you choose to lay down. The visual effects are impressive. Will be back to experience other events. There's truly so much to do. We spent about 4 hours there, and my son was entertained the entire time. His favorite areas were the music section and the sock skating activity, but every part of the museum was enjoyable. It's a fantastic place for kids and a great way to spend the day together as a family.
