Really great hands on kids museum that's a mix between learning and pretend city. Highly recommend for under 8! Fl resident discount if you provide your zip code!

I had guests from out of town and thought Miami Children's Museum would be a fun activity for their 6 years old girl, and I was not wrong. The Museum has vibrant colors, playgrounds and full of fun activities where the child can have fun for a couple of hours. I will keep this on the must to do list of activities when I have guests out to town with kids. They will appreciate it.

Such a neat fully immersive and interactive museum. There are so many hands on activities for the kids to do and a wide variety of occupations highlighted throughout. Our 4 year old loved it and was able to roam around independently with a watchful eye. The weekends are busy and I wish we would have gone on the sensory friendly Saturday because it is a bit overwhelming and overstimulating If you're the least bit sensitive or neurodivergent. Nonetheless I would definitely recommend this place and would totally get a membership if we lived here.

Miami Children's Museum is super cute and a great spot for kids. The exhibits are well thought out, interactive, and perfect for different age groups. It's a good size -- big enough to spend a couple of hours without feeling overwhelming. Bonus: my bank offers free museum passes once a month, so we got in at no cost. The A/C was a lifesaver, and everything was clean and well maintained. The only thing that made me nervous was the railing on the second floor. It's very high up (20-40 feet by my guess), and if you have little ones who like to climb, you'll definitely be keeping a close eye on them. Overall, a beautiful museum and a fun, educational outing for families. We'll be back.

This is a really cool place, almost like Wannado City! Prices for Florida residents are $18, normally it's $20 something I believe. Parking is $2 per hour. They have so much to do for the little ones. Very interactive. We will be back!

Decided to take the grandkids on the weekend. This was our first time and we had such a wonderful time. They have different prices based on whether you are a Florida resident, a Miami Dade resident, or a Veteran, etc. which are interesting options. The museum has a lot of play make-believe areas. as well as sensory targetted areas and quiet rooms. staff was attentive, friendly, and professional. To eat they only have a subway which is overpriced if you go by regular subways on the outside. They have plenty of outdoor seating, and employees were rude and barely spoke English so got upset if you did not speak Spanish. not the nicest at all for a place that receives many tourists.. The museum is not big but it is fun to spend a few hours with the kids, they also have a gift shop if you want to buy souvenirs.

Our family enjoyed the children's museum located on Watson Island Park in Miami. The fee is a bit expensive at $26, $18 for Florida residence, and free for children under 12 months. Parking fee is $2 an hour. They offer many exhibits and educational activities for the kids. We spent about three hours at the museum. They do a have a gift shop and a Subway sandwich restaurant. They also have an outdoor picnic area.

This museum is very interactive! Here are some tips to ensure you and your family have a good time. - It's very interactive, meaning it's for kids and adults to bond over the different activities/rooms. If you have one child, be prepared to engage with them until they feel comfortable possibly joining other kids. No staff members are watching every room or every child (which shouldn't be their responsibility). - If you're taking your children to this museum, ensure you are watching your child. Depending on their age there are many rooms where objects can be thrown. - For food, there is only a subway. So you can eat before coming to this museum or take some snacks with you. - They have sensory book-bags for kids who become overstimulated with sounds, a lot of people, etc -You will need to pay for parking. They use an app, you pay per hour. This museum is so colorful and can be a learning experience for younger children.

I'm so conflicted about this review because I think this museum can have great potential! Our 1 year old enjoyed his time but so many things could be improved/changed here Pros: - Cool exhibits - Friendly staff members -Clean bathrooms -Dr Seuss area with books for children to whine down -Different themed events throughout the year - Plenty of hand sanitizer stations all in working order Cons/things to be improved: - From the moment we entered until the moment we left we were all sweating! It was hotter inside than it was outside, it honestly makes me not want to go back at all - Some toys were out of order - Parking is not free, even if you're a member. - There's no cafeteria or place indoors where you can eat your food other than a tiny Subway. I can't imagine going during the summer months and having to not only bring a packed launch but having to eat it in the Scorching heat outside with no fans/ shaded area! - A covered splash pad/zone area would be incredible and little ones would go crazy for it - Earlier opening times. By 10am we've already lived 3 lives with our son and other family with kids agree

The peanuts exhibit didn't have the materials for each station for kids to actually play.

I had been wanting to go here based on pictures of the museum. However it's only nice in pictures. There's NO attendants at the stations meaning when the kids are done playing with materials and they just leave them thrown somewhere, when the next child comes in to play there's no materials left. For example, the mini grocery store had almost no food in the market because it was thrown elsewhere. The Peanuts exhibit also had no materials as shown in the picture. When I told an attendant that the exhibits were disorganized and that there was only two crayons for the kids, she picked up the broken tiny pieces and counted saying "oh one two three four, I see more than two." I said "okay... well it needs to have materials at the stations and the other stations are also missing materials." She replied with "is there a problem?" I said "yes. This really isn't worth the price if kids can't truly experience it." To which she said "you're free to leave and get a refund." Super rude. The WHOLE ship area where kids can fish with the magnetic rods was FILLED with mold and disgusting water. I don't think they ever clean this place. My nephew got hand, foot, mouth disease after leaving this place. I got a stomach virus. DO NOT RECOMMEND. ZEST POOL FOR GERMS AND BACTERIA.

It took us about 2.5 hours to explore the entire place including the planetarium show. The show that worked out best with timing was called "How to Die in Space: An Interactive Adventure Through the Cosmos." The girl leading it was wonderful but as you may figure by its name, the show was not a peaceful experience. There were a number of explosions that I think scared some of the kids in attendance. The other exhibits included one about flight, the human body/mind, an aquarium, dinosaurs, and general Florida wildlife. I can't say I learned a terrible amount of new information but it was fine. I appreciate the museum's mission and it probably would be cool for toddlers-little kids.

Paid at the venue $42 discounted rate for FL resident including $30 for parking in the private lot which was an unexpected cost, but had to park somewhere safe. Tickets were also available online. Decided to come here during the week to avoid a ton of little kids on the weekends or summer camp trips. Definitely NOT adult friendly entertainment. Took exactly one hour to experience all the room, so pricey for a short time. Maybe at a busier time it would be 1.5 hours but no way longer. Most of the exhibits were hands off and a few were interactive like the swings and ball room with music and cool light shows. As for the museum, it's inside a large warehouse. There's bathrooms in the beginning and in the end only, so make sure you go before you enter the museum. You are also not allowed to bring any outside food or drinks in but they don't check your strollers or bags for things. As for the exhibitions, some of them were better than others, but a lot seemed really tailored to kids. Some of the rooms were really boring with just balloon creatures standing there while others were more interactive. The place also was pretty toasty so dress on the cooler side. They have AC but it's summer in Miami so it gets hot inside despite that. It wasn't too crowded so you could still enjoy all the rooms without feeling overwhelmed. Would I recommend this to other people, probably not for the price point, but if you have kids and it's a rainy day it's a good activity to bring them to. It took us about 1.5 hours to slowly make our way through the whole thing.

You're not paying for ice cream, you're paying for room-to-room theming, ball pits, airplane cabins, neon architecture, and props designed for phone photos. The ice cream is secondary, vanilla, clean, packed in branded cups. Kids don't care about that distinction. They care that there's a room full of giant foam shapes, that the ball pit is real and deep, that you can crawl through an airplane with flight attendant roles, that the neon tunnels light up weird. The display cases and donut towers are real food you can't eat, just see. That's the reveal: the vision is aspirational, what you get is honest. If you understand you're buying an experience and not artisanal gelato, the price ($29-32 per person) makes sense. Logistics work. Rooms flow. Staff doesn't get in the way. The ball pit is the anchor (kids go deep, stay long, burn energy). The airplane cabin hits because kids respond to role-play spaces. Closes 8:30 PM. Go before 4 PM if you want breathing room. That said, there's only so much ice cream a person can eat, so you'll definitely get more out of it if you arrive hungry! The ball pit was a fun concept, but unfortunately it had an unpleasant odor that reminded me of a wet diaper. I assume it had seen a lot of use from younger visitors earlier in the day, so we decided to skip that attraction. Hubs told me about it, and then we heard about it together on Coast to Coast Am, early in our marriage. I had forgotten all about it until we were planning our trip to the Keys and my husband brought it up, so, we made it a priority to visit. Homestead is basically the last city you hit on the mainland before you begin your journey through the Keys, so you don't really have to make special plans to get here if you're heading there. Admission is $25 per adult, slightly less for children. With tax and a credit card convenience fee of $1.50, our total admission cost was $55. Personally, I think it was worth it, but then, I am into the weird stuff. The place can accomodate at least 100 people, but due to the oddity of the place and, I'm guessing, it's lack of notoriety, it doesn't seem to get very busy. There were maybe 25-30 people in the 2.5 hours we spent there. Coral Castle is almost entirely outdoors and exposed to the elements, so it is not really a castle. There are sitting areas, a dining area, bathing area and one enclosed living (sleeping) area. The living area could be called a tower, as it is two floors, but 1) You only get to see the lower floor which is now kind of a tool shed museum and 2) You can peek in it, but you can't actually go in it. Everything is made of a type of stone called oolite limestone. It is extremely strong and very heavy. The mystery of the castle is how it was built. How did one 5' tall man move multiple stones, weighing a ton or more, by himself? How did he make his stone chairs rock, and his stone gates turn? He claimed to know the secrets of the pyramid builders, and to this day, no one really knows how he did it. There are guided tours at regularly scheduled intervals, and you can join in anytime at no additional charge (recommended), or you can walk around and look at everything yourself, but there is no signage. You can stay as long as you want and take as many pictures as you want as well. There is a gift shop which has a cutout of Edward Leedskalnin, the man who built Coral Castle, that you can take a photo of or selfie with, along with the usual gift shop fare of shirts/sweatshirts, postcards, magnets, books, and other items. If you're looking for something interesting and unusual to do on the way to the Keys, I highly suggest a stop here. 99/2025
