The day of the party things were just perfect. From the moment you walk in you are greeted with the most friendly environment.The hosts and everyone in the facility are kind and make you feel welcome. Our party hosts were Vanessa, Daniel and Aaron, and I can't thank them enough, a wonderful and excellent group of hosts!! They were helpful and truly went above and beyond, I was able to enjoy my husband's party. Since we were in Miami during my prev. birthday trip, it was one of my birthday presents. Tickets ($20 per person) were available for purchase via Miami Roller Rink's website. Our Admission Tickets were shown at the door as we went through the front entrance. On this day, we visited Miami Roller Rink to attend "We Love The 90's" Skate Party. Skating during that several-hour session, the dj played fantastic 90's music. All 90's Everything....90's Hip-Hop, Reggae, Soca, Pop, R & B - you name it, & that dj played it. Skating to 90's "Oldies But Goodies" while singing was a good way to spend out on a Saturday Night. There are lockers for your belongings. There are snacks, food for purchase. Clean Bathrooms. There are also some Arcade Games. Seating space is on the sidelines for those that want to sit, to hang out w/ out skating, or to rest in-between skating. What I did like was there spring break schedule for kids and even a skate & prayer session. Seems like management really likes to involve all ages and activities for the community and that's amazing. The Stranger Things theme was fun and well done. The music and overall vibe were great, and my kids enjoyed the experience. The rink itself was clean and the themed night added something special. However, the night felt very overcrowded. It was difficult to walk in and out of the rink, and the food line was excessively long, which made it hard to enjoy the experience fully--especially with kids. The pricing was also an issue. At $20 per person just to enter, even non-skating parents were charged, and children under 3 were not exempt. For families, the costs add up quickly. Overall, it has a lot of potential and great themed events, but better crowd control, shorter food wait times, and a more family-friendly pricing structure would significantly improve the experience. read more

I was at Miami Roller Rink this past Saturday for my friends' son bday party and it was a blast! I came here as a kid when it had a different name and it was sooo nostalgic. Since it was a bday we had a private area in the back of rink which was very convenient to skate in and out of. This place is great for kids and adults to have fun. The music/dj was playing fun songs which made the place very lively. They have a lot of staff helping on the rink which makes it very safe. Jacob and Jose were our party coordinators (I forget what they are called) and they were nice and helpful. The only small hiccup was I went to the cashier in the food area at one point to ask for a cup because my nephew broke his and the cashier told me no and then was like just kidding, but you should ask your party coordinator next time because that's what they're there for. It is not a big deal at all and in the end he gave me the cup, but don't make people feel out of line when they're asking for a small cup. Something he could have just handed over in one second without saying a word. In the end I absolutely loved it here and will be back. Everyone had a great time! read more

I've been coming here since the '90s when it went through all of its name changes. It has and still is a fun family experience. I brought my children here for their first time roller skating and they had a blast. Wish I still lived in Miami so I can purchase the membership and go more often! Food was also very good. They incorporate themed nights with Mondays and Wednesdays being my favorite to meet my workout goals. Mondays is adult shuffle night and they play old school freestyle and Miami bass. Wednesday's is a mix of great music fit for all types of musical interests. I highly suggest their membership as it's $40 a month with unlimited visits. We planned our daughter's birthday at Miami Roller Rink. Located in West Kendall what used to be Hot Wheels in the 1990s, now is Miami Roller Rink. The management team were amazing with planning the party which included food package as well as a personal host that help with all the details. The main attraction is the actual roller rink which is expansive and has spot in the middle where first timer can take a break. For first time staters they have a walker to help them keep their balance. In regard to the food it included cheese pizza, chicken tenders, waffle fries, spring rolls and chicken wings. The team was polite, professional, and so helpful -- they assisted me with bringing everything inside, and when I walked into the VIP room, I was stunned. It was fun, stylish, and perfect for a glow up celebration. The atmosphere was amazing. Now I have to give a huge shoutout to Arianne and Adrian -- our party assistants -- who were simply outstanding. I couldn't believe how professional, friendly, and efficient they were. They helped with everything from setup to cleanup, stayed on top of every detail, and made sure I didn't have to lift a finger. Their level of service is something I haven't experienced in a long time. For such young individuals, their professionalism was beyond impressive! The roller skating was a blast -- the music, the lights, the energy -- everything was just perfect. I actually used to come here when I was younger, so seeing my daughter make her own memories in the same place was extra special. The rink was spotless and well-maintained, and everyone had such a great time. At the end of the party, they even moved everything to an after-party table for us -- such a thoughtful touch. Came here for a birthday party and left unexpectedly pleased despite having an accident. Came here for one of my son's friends birthday parties. I had been to a birthday here before but not when it was called miami roller rink. The last birthday party I had I wasn't crazy about it but it wasn't bad either. This time I honestly felt like a VIP guest. First off the birthday was on a Thursday. I expected this place to be packed with outside guests PLUS the birthday party but I was happy to see that was not the case. The birthday was closed off to outside guests and it was made to be a private party. The entrance is the same and there is security in the front, which I personally liked since it is a children's party. When we got there they have kiosks to check in and sign waivers. I went directly there since many kids party areas are now arranged this way. I signed my waivers which were easy. I checked in with the "party host" which was in the front and she wrote our names down. Everyone was extremely kind. My kids had a blast. I have to rate the food as a yelper. Pizza was great. They have an excellent beer selection and the prices were decent. The rink looks the same. Same vibe as when I was a kid. I missed this place. My son even made a comment that the place was way better from our last visit just by the staff and treatment. My son unfortunately fell and got injured. I have to say the staff was so accommodating. They ensured that he was ok, safe. They made sure that he was escorted off the rink on a wheelchair and placed safetly on a bench. He had sprained his ankle and had trouble walking. Everyone and I mean EVERYONE asked if he was ok and if they can help him. I met the owner and she was so nice. It is a skating rink and they do not whatsoever have go above and beyond but they did and it made all the difference. The birthday party made the kids feel like it was a club but for THEM. Something I haven't seen in a VERY long time. They had a DJ, light sticks, a held up banner saying happy birthday, you name it. It was truly an excellent experience. If you are looking for a birthday or just for your kids to get off their electronics and do something different, this is the place to be. With a 35 year history, this Roller Rink is the last standing "OG" roller rink in Miami. For countless people, it will always be Hot Wheels or Super Wheels, but one thing is for certain... it has been rolling with Miami since 1987. I have memories of coming here over 20 years ago, which makes bringing my own kids now a more memorable experience. Single memberships are $99/month Family memberships are $199/month The family memberships are for 2 adults and up to the 2 children. Normal sessions are $20 pp but they have a special that covers 5 sessions for $60 pp Skate Classes cost $15 pp for 30 mins and includes skate rental + admission to the skating session after class. I know it will continue to be a favorite for so many people, just as it has been for over 3 decades. The only thing keeping it from 5 stars, is the need for a little TLC (understandably so since it's been open for so long). read more
