BEST DAY EVER! Vista Lago Ballroom was the perfect venue for my wedding! If you're looking for an all-inclusive venue in Miami specifically West Kendall this is the place for you! The venue is stunning inside and out, the food was incredible, and the staff are so professional and some of the nicest people in the wedding industry! Great affordable prices for what was included! My husband and I had the best time ever and our guests said it was a wedding of a lifetime! Thank you to Raquel, Jose, and Shantel all your support through the planning/executing process!!!
Our twin daughters sweet 16 was amazing. I can not give this business ten stars so five will have to do. To begin with, the professionalism shown as well as the attention to detail surpasses any expectation I may have had of good service. The food was ten stars. The cakes by Edda were ten stars. The flowers by Gladys Flowers were gorgeous and also deserve ten star. The staff was ten stars. This service was exemplary and I will definitely be calling them again. It has been my honor to work with the entire team. Raquel knew what we wanted before we even knew and she executed the plan with a sophisticated touch like no other. We could not be more pleased.
Attended a wedding here on 11/22/19 . From a guest point of view: Good : *Venue was beautiful and it did not feel like I was in a ballroom setting. The interior is white with wooden floors and it serves as a perfect canvas for any event style. * I truly loved the set up for the reception by the lake. Bad: * This location was hard to find with all the construction happening in the area. * A few party-crasher from the ducks and of housefly during the reception. * For food, the bride chose the chicken and steak dinner - it was very to salty for me. The bread was extremely hard : /.
I could not begin to say how many wonderful thingsmeet experienced during our family event at this facility. The location is beautiful, well maintained and it is impeccable. There I definitely a great deal of pride from the owners, not to the mention the personal attention and the service from the staff is remarkable. The catering options are very affordable and very tasty. The owner Racquel is extremely resourceful and is magnificent and a wizard with small children. Everything about this location is convenient, beautiful, and affordable. The design and layout lend itself for a very family oriented event to be highly successful and intimate yet class. It's a beautiful hall and we were so fortunate to find it. And prices aRe very affordable.
Came here for a wedding.. very nice venue space perfect for weddings. Features indoor open space as well as a large patio that is on a lake with a nice view. The landscaping and space also seems to be well maintained.
I am giving this place 1 star because it held the most magical day of my life. The location itself is beautiful, the building is clean, well maintained and the inside of the ballroom is gorgeous. The food is delicious and everyone loved it, the wait staff was only serving certain tables during cocktail hour. Our head tables didnt try the cocktail hour apps. Our wedding was rained out, so we had to improvise and have our ceremony inside. Thank god for our wedding planner because all the staff from this venue did was RUSH her... they didnt allow us to set up until 3PM and they didnt give us any staff to help set up because "you have your own wedding planner she can do it"... the day before the wedding I was being stressed about something I wanted last minute and instead of helping me they made it more stressful. To put the icing on the cake the owners never told us the lake was UNDER CONSTRUCTION. A big yellow bulldozer in the middle and a mountain of rocks would be the backdrop of our ceremony pictures, when everyone noticed including the photographers they told them "use photoshop" what kind of attitude is that? This venue only cares about MONEY... once you pay them they are done. Do not recommend im glad its over and we enjoyed our wedding day....
From the moment we met Raquel and Jose we knew we were in the right place! They took the time to explain every detail of what Vista Lago would offer us if we chose them for our wedding. Having previously been guests there at one of our best friend's wedding, we knew the quality was top notch. That helped us make the decision to book with them for our big day. Honestly, it's the best all-inclusive event location in Miami. What you get for what you pay is beyond what you would expect. In the 6 months between our booking and the wedding day, Raquel was available to answer every single question I had (which, when planning a wedding mid-pandemic ends up being many more questions than normal). She was patient and helpful every step of the way, always cheerful and friendly. On the day, they took care of EVERYTHING. Every single piece of decor, every detail, was arranged exactly how we had asked for it to be. As soon as our ceremony ended, we were asked what we wanted to drink, they made sure to have a plate with the food our guests were enjoying during the cocktail hour to make sure we didn't miss out, they bustled my dress, went over our music selections to make sure when we entered the reception the rest of the night would be just as perfect. The food is delicious! Several guests commented afterwards how much they loved it. The music was awesome...they listened to what we asked for and delivered 100% of it. We were so happy on our wedding day and love that we get to reminisce on how wonderful it was thanks to everyone at Vista Lago! Can't recommend it enough!
This venue was overall everything I wanted! We wanted to have a little bit of the beach, feel without having to be outside for hours, and the inside is beautiful with the high ceilings. We booked this venue in February 2022 and the staff was very flexible with the number of guests and payments that had to be made leading up to November 11, 2023. as we got closer to the date, Shantal was very helpful in helping me finalize the final details and helping me book any other vendors that I needed. The last week before the wedding day my coordinator was in constant communication with the venue to ensure everything would be perfect and Racquel was amazing the day of. Racquel ensured that me and my now husband got hors d'oeuvres from happy hour as well as drinks, and she even went out of her way to take pictures of us on her phone, while the photographer was taking a few. I think that's a nice detail to mention, because at the end of the night I wanted to make sure I had some thing to see! Overall, I have nothing but good things to say about this venue, and I really recommend for anyone to book them and to have Shantal as your point person.
This is our second time coming here for a Christmas holiday party for my wife's work. It's a beautiful view of the lake in the back. With a nice water fountain. Inside is nice. The food could be a little better but makes for a nice place to have a business party.

What a terrific job. Vista Lago delivered across the board. José, Rachel, Leydis and Ceci are fantastic they really listened and followed through. No detail was left out. Rachel and Leydis worked the actual night of the event and were completely in control of all aspects of the night. We were the in town contact and coordinators for an out of town bride and groom. The vista Lago team made this pure joy. The food was great. The tasting was delicious but so was the food at the event. A mojito bar for a welcome drink at this casually elegant guayabera event. The DJ was truly a professional and he kept the party going and blended the music seamlessly.
I don't usually write reviews but I have to give credit where it is due. Vista Lago Ballroom really took care of my fiancé and I for our engagement party. Their all inclusive package had everything we needed and all we had to do was show up. I seriously couldn't believe it! Their staff served our guests with attention and charisma. Food was amazing and Jose made sure our guests had halal food + zero alcohol. Over all would come here again and if you're having doubts, just book!!!

My husband and I had our wedding here Nov. 2024. Everything from the food, to the service, location, parking literally everything was perfect. I am being completely honest when I say I have no complaints. The evening went so smoothly thanks to the team at Vista Lago. They were constantly checking on my husband and I throughout our wedding. One of the most important details to me was the food and the food here was incredible. Everyone was raving about how great everything tasted. You have the ceremony, cocktail and reception all in one location. Not only is it great for weddings, but it is also great for baby showers, 15's, birthdays and a lot of other fun events. It has high ceilings with beautiful chandeliers. It's a gorgeous venue and the best value you will find in Miami. If you are anything like me and very indecisive and anxious, Vista Lago is the place to hold your wedding at. We are both incredibly happy we chose this venue and will be choosing this venue for future celebrations they also gave us the left overs. We couldn't eat on our wedding because of our nerves but we were able to enjoy the food the day after and everyone was right it was sooo good read more

If you are thinking about booking an event with Vista Lago Ballroom... DO IT! Raquel, Jose and the entire staff were absolutely amazing!!!! My husband and I just got married here on September 3, 2021. We traveled from Indiana to Miami to get married! We have nothing but amazing things to say. If we could get remarried over and over again here, we absolutely would. They were so efficient and made sure everything went smooth for our big day. It was literally a dream come true. Amazing venue. Amazing food. Amazing staff. Amazing drinks! Everything! Not to mention, beautiful views. We love love love vista Lago ballroom!! read more

This venue is as good as it gets. My wedding reception was held there on 6-18-16 and the staff at Vista Lago Ballroom made sure that this was indeed the happiest day of my life. They took care of EVERYTHING! We dropped off all our party decor and favors and they did the rest and with such an eye for detail! The cake, the food...people are still talking about how delicious the churrasco was. And the DJ!!! I was nervous about this one. Especially since, my now, husband is a DJ of 16 years... But Roly was amazing! We danced all night. Not a still moment. and Raquel was remarkable. She personally helped me with my dress, made sure everything was accounted for...it was so much more than I was expecting. Its a little far out west, but what a perfect wedding venue...i am so glad we made the decision to have our reception there. read more

Wow!! We were pleasantly surprised how fantastic our wedding came out. Leydis was our coordinator and all around rock star. She was organized and after one meeting completely understood our vision. Day of the wedding she was our literal life savor. She had drinks ready for us, kept us calm and was always there to guide us throughout the day. We literally didn't have to worry about a thing and was able to fully enjoy the best night of our lives. DJ Roly was hands down the best wedding DJ we have ever seen. Kept the party rocking all night. I highly recommend this venue for all occasions. read more

First time visiting the Vista Lago Ballroom. Very conveniently located and spacious. Attended a friend's wedding where the ceremony was held outside with the lake view. Cocktail hour was great! Overall the wedding was fun and the bartender and servers were very friendly and accommodating. Plenty of parking and the venue is perfect for many celebrations. read more

When we started to plan our wedding, we were looking for a nice place with great food and a nice ceremony space! and of course we wanted those two important things on budget ! Vista Lago Ballroom is the perfect venue for couples looking for a beautiful venue that includes pretty much everything. We are very happy we found this place . Recently had my wedding here last week. Overall my experience was ok not the best. The reception is beautiful. Location is ok, stand alone building, very spacious. Food and music was good. I was an out of state bride planning a destination wedding. They do not accept cc by phone and or have a website to make payments. This was super annoying and they didn't budge. My cake was missing the decorations i was told where gonna be put on but i had to decorate the cake myself. On the day of my wedding Leydis wedding coordinator told me my wedding flowers would be delivered than that became an issue and they where never. They weren't accommodating with time on having us drop off the extra party supplies on the day of the wedding . My welcome table looked like there wasn't any effort put into it. Barely any pictures or story was posted on their social media. It made me feel kind of bad and added extra stress on my special day. Other than that i had a great time Cecilia facilitated the day of very smoothly and was on point. read more

Vista Lago Ballroom delivered the wedding of my dreams. The entire team was very respectful of my vision and worked without hesitation to bring it to life. On the days leading to the wedding, Jose did a great job putting me at peace when the anxiety kicked in. On wedding day, Leidys surpassed my expectations, she kept everyone on task, the event running smoothly and proactively helped me with everything that I needed (even before I realized I needed help). The venue is incredible beautiful and elegant. I received great feedback from my guests, and I personally had a great time. I am very pleased with the way it all turned out. read more

I was recently a bridesmaid in a wedding that was held in Vista Lago. If it weren't because of the magic that weddings create I would give this place a one star. When my friend booked this venue she was excited - location is below average and their lake view was nice (prior to all the construction happening on the other side), but when "everything" is included for such a low price, you compromise. The venue itself is beautiful, rather than looking like a ballroom it photographs like a mansion. The interior is white with wooden floors and it serves as a perfect canvas for any event style. For food, the bride chose the chicken and steak dinner - it was average wedding food, but they did bring out chimichurri sauce that saved the plate. Here's why it could've been a one star: there was not a day during wedding planning that the bride didn't complain about something that was supposedly "included" but sucked. When it came to food, you could choose either chicken for everyone or steak for everyone - if you wanted your guests to have an option to choose either or, it wasn't allowed. They accommodate to have both on the plate...for more money. The cake was included, except it was hideous - if you wanted a decent cake with fondant, it was also significantly extra. The tables were also included, but if you wanted rectangular tables instead of round...it was also extra. Prices went up for everything! Drapes, lighting outside, table cloths, bars, vases, hours...so much alternated the cost my friend ended up paying like $11,000 dollars. For that, she could've chosen Thalatta and gotten married on a Thursday if anything. My friend didn't have an event coordinator but she did have a friend that helped throughout the whole process and knew the brides vision! The day of the wedding they only let us take things at 2:30 when the wedding was at 4:30. There was no prior event, that's just irrational nonsense! Our friend, who was designated to take items and set the wedding up was denied access inside because she wasn't a licensed coordinator! She was the one that knew exactly what the bride wanted and where! But the venue asked her to leave (rudely) and set everything up themselves...so many details were left out. They also called the bride the night before her wedding with extreme attitude and even after being asked to no longer contact the bride but the mother - they still did. Here's why it's two: my friend has good taste! Even though everything was extra and the process of everything before the wedding was a nightmare, it did in fact look beautiful. The bistro lighting, although $700 more, really did look magical for cocktail hour. My friends decision of having tall arrangements filled the room and every other choice that was extra really did add nice touches! Plus, when someone you love gets to marry someone they love deeply...everyone is just happy to be a witness. Overall, unless you're okay with their original set price and realize it doesn't include anything you probably want - I would suggest you look for something else! read more

Our experience with Vista Lago was great!! We had an awesome wedding and enjoyed our special day very much. We received plenty of compliments on all the decorations and the way the hall looked that day. Leydis was very sweet and made me feel ensured that everything would go smoothly the day of the wedding, as well as provided great suggestions. The day of the wedding Cecilia took care of everything in a phenomenal way and made sure I didn't have to raise a finger for anything (Thank you so much Cecilia!!). The reason that I am giving them four stars instead of five is because the day of the wedding I had multiple guests tell me the serving staff was rude to them and one of them even dropped a cup of the soda on the table and just left it there, did not clean it up right away. Obviously the day of the wedding that was very awkward and embarrassing to hear such complaints. I let Cecilia know and like a true professional she addressed it immediately. Also the whole time leading up to the wedding I was dealing with and communicating with Leydis, which made me feel at ease because I had met with her personally several times and she knew exactly every little detail for the day of the wedding. On the actual day I was kind of blindsided to see Cecilia there, whom I had not built rapport with at all and had not discussed everything with in detail. I feel that being informed prior that Cecilia was going to be my coordinator the day of the wedding and having a chance to build rapport with her would have been better and made me feel better. The reason this was an issue for me was because the day of the wedding although the centerpieces were beautiful they were not the way I have discussed and chosen with Leydis the day of my tasting so I was a little bummed about that. Overall my experience was great and I would recommend them to my friends, there are just little things that should be addressed. Thank you to everyone at Vista Lago for an amazing wedding!! read more
