Sent me back with about 3200 PSI in my HP100 tanks. The second time around I asked for 32% nitrox. I checked them at the store with their analyzer and they gave me 34% and 41%. When I questioned them about it they said their analyzer was broken but they were certain the tanks were filled properly with 32%. I checked them at home with my analyzer and they gave me 34% and 41%. So far I cannot say anything good about this shop.

I felt very comfortable that he gave us the training we needed to dive competently and safely. I bought some gear in advance of the course and discovered that the on-line research, no matter how exhaustive, is not a replacement for actually trying out the gear. Masks I bought for one of my sons & I were uncomfortable. The staff at Grove Scuba helped us find replacements that we're really pleased with. Our experience was very satisfying and we will be back!

The day before our appointment, he figured out we didn't have all the parts we needed, and even helped track down the parts (that's not even his job!). Knowing we were on a timeline, he moved his schedule around to get us taken care of. On appointment day he showed up early with all his gear ready to go, which can be rare in the boating industry, and did the repair quickly and correctly. Price was also more than fair. Our boat was going about 40 mph and making wild turns on the water. A word to the wise, if you don't want to get wet, then sit in the middle area and not the back. You will see the Port of Miami, the Miami downtown skyline, Star Island and Millionaires Row, Palm Island, Fisher Island, South Beach and speed to the Atlantic Ocean. Time it right and you will see the sunset. The Captain and crew are awesome and will give you great info. This is definitely something you want to do in Miami! Adult tickets, age 12+ are $45 and kids 3-11 are $35. Parking can be found at Bayside Marketplace Garage. Check Groupon for specials. You can show up and board fairly quickly. There are plenty of restaurants at Bayside if you are hungry afterwards.

I understand this is a high-speed boat attraction and have ridden many times. I was simply trying to explain how wind direction and passenger positioning can affect the amount of spray passengers receive. In my experience, captains have previously appreciated these discussions and handled them professionally. Instead of listening, staff repeatedly and aggressively told me that I would get wet, which completely missed the point I was trying to make. When I asked to speak with a captain or supervisor, my request was denied. The situation became increasingly confrontational. I was told not to educate an adult individual at the kiosk about nautical terminology, despite my attempt to explain a legitimate concern. I was also uncomfortable being recorded without my permission. Rather than de-escalating the situation, staff called security and threatened police removal. As a long-time customer, I found that response excessive and unnecessary. I expect better customer service, professionalism, and respect from a business I have supported for years. Management should review how this incident was handled and provide additional training on customer relations and conflict de-escalation.
