The last two dive trips that we have done with them were great and we had a wonderful time. I have done approximately 20 dives with this company. However, this last time the guides were so disconnected. Michael and Dololly in the shop were so helpful but as soon as we got on the boat we were basically on our own. The only person that was even remotely helpful was Marco, who we had dove with before. He seemed to be the only guide that knew how to man the boat. Riley was absolutely clueless and rude. She was the guide that stayed on the boat to help us on/off the boat and while my mother was trying to get back on, she let go of her without warning leading to her falling and gashing open her leg. When I asked my mom what happened to her leg Riley snidely commented well she fell on the boat. Then while she was helping me get on the boat she grabbed my air gauge causing me to almost fall as well. One of the guides, didn't catch his name, was drinking alcohol on the boat before and after the dive while certifying a 10 year old boy. I don't understand how this is allowed. Furthermore, our guide left us in the middle of the dive. He eventually showed up but did not seem able to navigate under water as the previous guides had. Which was very nerve wracking considering the currents we were moving into. He also did not help with getting on and off of the boat for the dives. He was very disengaged with our group and did not seem to want to even be a guide. Overall, a bad experience sadly as we have enjoyed our previous trips with them. It seems their guides have become much less knowledgeable and supportive than they used to be. Most dive guides are personable and want to share their dive knowledge, however this group seems to be more about just getting it done.

I've only used this shop twice to fill my tanks. I have had to go back each time because the first…read moretime they didn't fill my tanks properly. Sent me back with about 3200 PSI in my HP100 tanks. The second time around I asked for 32% nitrox. I checked them at the store with their analyzer and they gave me 34% and 41%. When I questioned them about it they said their analyzer was broken but they were certain the tanks were filled properly with 32%. I checked them at home with my analyzer and they gave me 34% and 41%. So far I cannot say anything good about this shop.

The day before our appointment, he figured out we didn't have all the parts we needed, and even helped track down the parts (that's not even his job!). Our boat was going about 40 mph and making wild turns on the water. A word to the wise, if you don't want to get wet, then sit in the middle area and not the back. You will see the Port of Miami, the Miami downtown skyline, Star Island and Millionaires Row, Palm Island, Fisher Island, South Beach and speed to the Atlantic Ocean. Time it right and you will see the sunset. The Captain and crew are awesome and will give you great info. This is definitely something you want to do in Miami! Adult tickets, age 12+ are $45 and kids 3-11 are $35. Parking can be found at Bayside Marketplace Garage. Check Groupon for specials. You can show up and board fairly quickly. There are plenty of restaurants at Bayside if you are hungry afterwards.

We spent about 40 minutes crawling at around 2 mph and only got about 5 minutes of actual speed. The rest of the ride was painfully slow. Because the boat barely moved, there was no wind at all, and we were stuck sitting in the scorching heat. When we complained, the manager didn't even try to help. Instead, she started yelling at us. She first claimed that higher speeds were "illegal" in the area. Then she also told us that the captain was still learning to operate the boat, as if that somehow justified the experience. I honestly don't understand what that has to do with the time and money I paid for. Customers shouldn't be paying full price to be part of someone's training. This felt like false advertising and a complete waste of time and money. If you're expecting a real speedboat ride, avoid this company and book somewhere else.
