I paid Cody $130.00 to come to my house and let me know what was wrong with my bike. He came with a helper and they showed me what needed to be fixed and what the cost would be. I agreed and they were to come back in a few days when they had the parts. I never heard from anyone again. I finally found another mechanic to take care of the bike. I'm sorry to say this, but don't bother with this one. They aren't reputable and they don't care about their customers.

A few days later, Cody called and explained that the mechanic had been sick since Saturday. He said he would try to fit me into his own schedule, and we discussed a time that would likely work for both of us. However, before ending the call, Cody asked me to modify or delete my review. I told him that once someone actually came out and looked at the bike, I would have no problem updating the review to reflect that. At that point, he accused me of "blackmailing" the company with my review. To be clear, I never brought up the review during the call--he did. I simply said I would update it once the issue was addressed. Being accused of blackmail for wanting the problem resolved before changing my review was incredibly unprofessional and disappointing. My original concern was the lack of communication after the repair. Unfortunately, this interaction only made the situation worse. I can overlook mistakes and scheduling issues, but I cannot overlook poor communication and being treated disrespectfully as a customer UPDATE: After I left my original review, I was contacted almost immediately. I'm 34yrs old & recently purchased a 2017 Softail Slim Harley Davidson at Mr. Motorhead on Nov 15th with low miles (604) and a crazy great price. I'm in awe over the entire operation I found at Mr. Motorhead. Longtime Harley Davidson sales rep bad@ss 'Rick' made my 1am internet, interest & curiosity into a 12pm next day reality. Rick is the epitome of a true free spirited rider. The man makes it easy to talk about what you want because he sincerely listens to the vision you have in mind. It felt like the man himself had ridden just about every HD bike at some point in his life. 'John' (finance, bank brawler/miracle worker) still has his first receipt of his first Harley framed up and all. TRUST ME!!! You want a man as versed in this field as John working the numbers and pulling moves like rainman. If you come here on a thought trust that you'll ride out of showroom on the two wheels which you sought. This place feels like a good mix of home and hanging with your boys & homegirls. They have your back. I played a little pool while waiting on the 15min bank approval; when I got to talking to a seasoned rider. The man was there just because he says quality upgrades and mechanical work is second to non there. He said the technician/motorcycle specialist they've got is skillful. Didn't catch the techs name just know he's tall and skinny. Another thing, if I could give anyone a blank check to help me customize my bike to be a personification of me, that'd be 'Chris Walden' service/shop manager. You should see the catalogs the man has. I can't do that for now while I'm in my 30's but I'll do a few upgrades at a time lmao. 'Lori' made all the paperwork feel like a breeze. At one point she even thought of a solution outside the box just to facilitate my needs and that of the banks. She was a skilfull liason for Mr. Motorhead while handling my deal. She's the behind the scenes modern day elbow grease. Just refined with clean cut class and productivity. She seemed to share a love and respect for the Harley Davidson line along with its design. They shuttled over some kids from what seemed to be a local middle school to help be apart of putting together a sick amazing looking bike build; with lunch paid for. All out of their pockets. Angel-like businesses like Mr. Motorhead is what communities everywhere need. I would've never dreamed this back when I went to Booker T Washington in Overtown when it used to be a middle school. My wife likes my bike but says she'll love it if I give her real-estate on the back-end of it. Lol I hear that's how future Harley Davidson glider owners get started. P.S the deal on my bike was so good, I drove from West Kendall/Miami to get it.

John, the owner of Devil Dog Motorcycle Repairs, is bar none, the most decent, straightforward, dedicated, disciplined, fair, honest, and trustworthy motorcycle mechanic you will find in S. Florida! After the only honest motorcycle repair shop in Broward County moved to South Carolina, I struggled profusely to find another. The rave Google reviews for Devil Dog Motorcycle Repairs prompted my decision to bring my 2005 Yamaha Virago XV250 and my 2004 Harley-Davidson Sportster 883 to him. As a former military veteran, John provided a highly-detailed overview of how he conducts business. He let me know he would keep me in the loop from start to finish. He let me know his rate, which was fair, and he had no up front diagnostic charge [speaking from experiences, avoid any shop that requires that]. He also stated he would not order any parts without approval. By keeping me in the loop, he meant with crisp, clear photos. As well as clear, concise texts regarding how he was coming along. These are things most shop owners do not do. Once all repairs were complete, he provided a text image of my bill. Upon arrival for pickup, he provided a full printed report [I kid you not] of the work he did, how long he did it, and what it cost. Try finding a shop owner who or a shop that will do that! John also provides his professional advice and recommendations not only about your motorcycle, but the motorcycle lifestyle too. For example, he told me the universal, unspoken way for distressed motorcycle riders to let drivers and riders know they are having bike trouble. One last thing, I informed John I had a deadline to meet because I was gifting my Sportster to a nephew coming all the way from San Antonio, TX for 4th of July week. He already has my 2000 Suzuki GSX-R750. Soon he will be just like me, one standard bike and one sport bike. John knocked the deadline out of the ballpark! Grand Slam Home Run!!! Sir, thank you for your service. My mother's side of the family has a long history of military service. You have my respect! I salute you! May your business continue to serve all those who need it.

I'm sorry, but it doesn't take almost a year let alone absolutely no communication whatsoever. I've never had to call a shop and beg for updates and totals. I truly did not want to write a bad review. I really didn't, but this has gotten so absurd to the point that I ended up having to buy a third motorcycle so I had something to ride in the meantime bc this shop, has just dragged there feet the entire time with both bikes. Have attached screenshots of my conversations with the owner. And a timeline of how things played out.
