I touched her wrist. THEY DON'T CARE - I Moved him OUT. Wasted 3 weeks there had to start Rehab over. Oh plus he got a bed sore because they just let them lie in bed. The Berry Center is building Miami Valley Hospital. Very center is for babies and women issues…read moregynecological , mammograms and Pediatrics. It came a long way state-of-the-art. Beautifully decorated. The only problem is parking and the traffic around there. Miami Valley has a couple parking garages one of them does connect to the Berry Center so once you finally learn your way around this area that be your best bet. There are these golf cart looking shuttles that can take you over there if you've gotten lost in ended up in the main hospital.

In less than 48 hours my mother was taken, by ambulance, to the ER for shortness of breath. I stopped by one week later to give them an update to find her room cleaned out & her belongings boxed up! We never rec'd written notice or a phone call re: "bed hold", which I am only now familiar with. Now the staff & administration are lying trying to cover their tracks because they did not adhere to the state standards and requirements. The food, when delivered to her room, was ice cold, inedible. The evening aide turned the a/c, in her room, to 62 both nights. That was the care she got overnight. I do not recommend Cypress to care for your loved ones.

There was a young guy who came in every night before leaving who washed if I needed anything before he left for home. I can not say that there wasn't a person who wasn't caring and nice. I can only speak of my experience there and I was so thankful that they got me strong enough to go home. Also the family must stay involved with your care. At any nursing facility it's a must. Thanks to all who was involved of my care. The food was okay. If they had something that I didn't care for they offered me something else. I suggest that if something is going g wrong get in touch with the owner.

I went and they wouldn't do a ultra sound then I finally had my appointment to do it and then I got a call the day before saying the same insurance I've had this whole time isn't gonna work and I gotta pay for my previous appointments... Also they wouldn't prescribe me prenatal meds, and all I was given was a calendar... I started going to five rivers and I got way more than I need, and a lot of help!

We placed my mother, who has dementia, in traditional assisted living in April, 2020, during Covid. Before welcoming her with open arms, they had her room all set up with her personal belongings so she would feel at home when she arrived. Our deep gratitude goes to Nikki Vawter for this. She is an absolute Angel! The nursing and caregiver staff are absolutely amazing, warm and giving! During Covid she was kept safe and continually tested. Also during Covid, Nikki was able to FaceTime with mom's children as we were not able to visit at the time. Mom is so happy and content. She is a life long faithful Catholic and a social butterfly! She is able to go to the beautiful church any time she wants, as well as socialize with the other residents. And she loves the numerous activities! We very highly recommend this facility for any senior needs, from independent living to nursing home care!

In striking up conversations with them, I heard plenty of unsolicited positives--lots of on-site activities and off-campus trips for residents, a beautiful wellness center with a pool, restaurant-quality food, well-maintained grounds and flowers, good employee benefits and great co-workers, and very helpful staff that put residents' care first. If I were looking for independent or assisted living, I'd sell my home move there in a heartbeat! Kudos to St. Leonard's entire team for making everyone feel so welcomed.

This place is phenomenal!…read more The staff are very polite and respectful. The atmosphere is great for any kid, the areas are all updated and clean. We use the OT/PT services here and they really hit the weak points for my kiddo. Every week is different and not the same redundancy you get in other therapy centers. They even go outside and do activities, not always indoors! The staff know my child by name which is a huge factor for me, we have spent much time at hospital therapy centers and other practices where she has always just been another file with another therapist who happens to be working. At Synergy you get the same therapist everytime. They definitely care about your progress and take the time needed for your little ones.
