Then if you want more you have to go to classes that they have a earn baby bucks by going to the classes and doing extra classes such as a CPR class thats not paid for and getting your ged of you dont have and also they dont help with the payment and im grateful for the free stuff but both times i went the one lady was rude, and they shove religion on you. I did 6 classes before and stopped going cause the only thing i learned about parenting in those 6 classes was one video showing cpr, other than that its all about God and ur relationship with him even though ur at a parenting class..i stopped going when i had a whole packet they told me needed to be done and it was all about God and versus..and when i went today after saying no to the relationship with God she took the wipes out of my bag of diapers and just gave me the diapers and said have a day..

These folks have been around for a long time and I've done a lot of good. They support women before…read morebirth, through birth, and after birth until the kid is at least about five. They have clothes, cribs, other baby related furniture,and they know a lot of community resources. Their mission is to serve and support women, at no cost and without judgment, and they've done that for years. There are a number of folks in the larger local area that have been engaged with them in helping folks who need help. They are a fixture of the community, and they have done a lot of good for women who need it. A lot of good for kids who need it too. And if you need medical help they can point you in the direction so you can get the help you need. They are folks to stop in and help for non-emergency stuff, non-inpatient stuff, and they can point you to places that are interested in doing good as a higher priority than making big medical bills, if you need a higher level of engagement.

They have a ton of resources for people who are pregnant or have very little's. They can connect…read moreyou with a number of community resources for food, shelter, bills, toys, counseling, and equipment. But they don't have a house they can connect you to our house. They really genuinely care, and genuinely want to empower women. This includes long after the child is born. Don't believe the hype, these are some good folks doing very good things. When I was young I lived an absolute poverty, and one of the few reasons we got by with places like this. I'm a lot older now and I make very certain to try and support my community, and knowing who these folks are and what they do makes it an easy choice of who to donate to.

Pregnancy center East is a wonderfully caring, non judgmental place to go for help. If a woman…read moreneeds a pregnancy test, testing for STDs or an ultra sound to see how far along they are. They help with resources for the mom and baby after the baby is born as well, even helping with car seats, clothing, etc. There are some of the most empathetic people (mostly volunteers) who truly believe in caring for the whole person, mom and baby. I know from volunteering there!!
