I have been coming here for 3 weeks now and I can't rave enough about this place to all my friends with kids. My son is not into sports and not very coordinated so he has always wanted quit everything we started. I needed to find a place that can help him, motivate him, and also have lots of patience with him. I am so impressed with the coaches that work here, there patience with these kids, and the real love for wanting there students to succeed. This place is great, I can't thank them enough. My son is now being more active, is getting the exercise he needs and learning more every day. His confidence is improving and he is now learning to be respectful while also defending himself with bullies. I have finally been able to pull him away from the video games and into something that he loves just as much. I strongly recommend this place and would give them 100 stars is I could!!!! read more

This gym is so underrated here on YELP. I was looking for a gym for my son for a while, where he can release some energy, read reviews and visited a couple before we chose WNB. Best decision ever, the coaches know what they are teaching, everyone who works here is friendly and welcoming, the facility always feels clean, and most importantly my son absolutely enjoys going to every training, he is constantly learning and has become well-balanced with his emotions. I've been too a couple of Martial arts gym and this is the best one in the area. The trainers are courteous and professional. The facility is large and modern. They are very meticulous about keeping the gym extremely clean. I would highly recommend it. read more

There aren't enough good things I could say about WMB. This is hands down the best MMA Academy in SoFl. The instructors are amazing. Our son looks forward to seeing Coach Manny and Coach Dave every day. He is learning so much more than just MMA though. He's learning about leadership and discipline and teamwork. We feel so at home here. We'll be returning for our second year of Summer Camp this year and our son literally can't wait. Coach Sierra who aside from her 30 other duties, runs the office, is the kindest person you'd ever want to meet. She knows each child and family by name and she makes all the students feel important to their Academy. It is our hope that we will share many many more years with WMB. read more

My 8 year old daughter wanted to take martial arts classes so I started looking for a gym. After looking at several martial arts gyms in my area and not having a good feeling about any of them. We decide to go to WMB even though it was a 25 minute drive for us. A friend of mine took her children there and she was happy with the gym. They had exactly what I as a parent was looking for, caring people that are interested in the children as a whole. I have both my daughters 8 and 4 going there now and they absolutely love it. They can't wait to go to their classes and my oldest has gotten more self confidence from going to WMB. JB is a great coach and shows great interest in the kids, teaching them things not even relating to martial arts before and after class. Coach Sierra is the face you see when you come in the office always warm and greeting everyone walking through the door. All the Dave's are incredible coaches and take great interest in all the kids. 5 stars are inadequate to rate Miami WMB and it's people. I have been going to the gym for about 3 weeks taking jiu jitsu classes, and I could have not been more excited and hooked. The classes are always challenging and the coaches are always helpful. The gym's culture is what makes me want to go there every day. Practice and perseverance are what builds you and at Miami WMB, you will always have someone willing to stay until late to get you better and that is hard to find. They provide bully prevention and women's self-defense programs, among other interesting classes. If you are looking for not just any gym, then look no more. You have found the right place. read more
