    Primavera rolls

This was my first Thai experience in Mexico and it was very good. The decor is like a 50s or 60s diner. There is outdoor seating and small indoor seating area. The staff was pleasant. I went for a very basic Pad Thai with vegetables and the Veitnamese spring rolls. They were both very good, but they are not the same as to what I am used to. The price is higher than I think it should be, but I think it's because of the location (Condesa). They do not have wifi but they have a smoking section outside and an English menu.

Vietnamese food in Mexico . I didn't expect much in the land of tacos but my cousin who left vietnam for over a year were craving for some pho . We loved the chip and salsa ( asian version : rice cracker with 4 choices of sauces). However the spring roll were not good . It tasted cold and uncooked . Not typical spring roll ingredient. It was quite pricey. A meal for 5 cost almost $150.00 . Next time I just stick to authentic tacos .

While our server was extremely nice, there seemed to be a disconnect in the kitchen. We asked if we could change an appetizer if it had not been prepared and they said they could and then brought us the old appetizer and had to reconfirm with us and the waitress whether we had changed it in time. My meal came first, I ordered the Singapore noodles which do not taste like regular Singapore noodles but we're still good taste wise, just extremely loaded with soy sauce. Then the wrong appetizer arrived and my friend's soup arrived really late as well. I was done with my meal. The plates are small.

Notice the brown edges. Other parts of the lettuce were mushy.

The wonton soup and fried wontons both tasted mediocre. The lettuce for our Lechuga spring rolls had brown brackish areas.

Cool playlist playing from an old iPod; they make a mean cocktail and the food & service is excellent.

Everything was really bad, tasteless, with low quality ingredients and the service had no interest in pleasing us.

The patio was covered with so many greenery and provided a lot of shades. We ordered a few items to share: - Toasted bread, chicken liver, and black truffle: a good appetizer to start off with. The chicken pate was good, a bit different from what I'm used to. - Pappardelle with pork ragu: this was super good. Love the pasta texture on this. Pork ragu sauce was also perfect. - Robalo ceviche, watermelon, Serrano pepper: a refreshing ceviche to balance out the meal. the watermelon added a bit of sweetness. - Pizza capocollo, radicchio, straquinella cheese: a good size pizza to share. I like thin crust. - Arugula, roasted tomatoes, Parmesan salad: fresh arugula that went perfectly with the roasted tomatoes. Every meal needs a good salad. - Ricotta stuffed zucchini blossoms: this was my favorite dish we tried. Such a unique combo of flavors. The ricotta cheese just melted when you bite into the zuchinni blossoms. It also had a light crispy texture. - Hummus and pita bread: another good choice for appetizer. The hummus was solid. The service was excellent. Everyone was attentive and our food didn't take long to come out. Would highly recommend to add this place to your list. This is also a great area to check out, plenty of things to do in La Condesa.

The interior was brightly lit with a large beautiful bar, and had the vibe of a French cafe. We were brought out some complimentary (pita-like) bread, which was nice, but would have been better with something like olive oil to dip it in. My friend and I ordered 3 items to share - the Ricotta Stuffed Squash Blossoms, Eggplant Parmesan, and Barbacoa. Portions were on the smaller side, but this was the perfect food quantity for us. The Ricotta Stuffed Squash Blossoms were fine but a little bland. I liked the Eggplant Parmesan and Barbacoa, but neither really blew my mind. For everything I'd heard about Lardo, I felt like our experience was good but not amazing. Would check it out for breakfast to compare!

Our server was very pleasant, attentive and definitely made the night fun. I wanted to try the Sopa de Tortilla mostly because of the presentation - it was in this cool looking ceramic of a señorita skeleton figurine. The soup itself had fresh clean flavor to it. For the mains, we had the Enchiladas De Mole Negro, Tacos De Lechón, Filete Con Salsa De Chipotle and Pescado Tikin Xic. Everything was so tasty, definitely enjoyed our meal.

We started with the Heirloom Tomato Salad, made of chopped tomatoes, lettuces, sheep's cheese, and an olive oil dressing. This would have been a great dish, except that the tomatoes weren't actually in season (during my visit) and were less than ripe. One of their signature creations was the Buñuelos Rellenos con Pato Confitado, which were deep-fried wonton-like dumplings filled with a tender duck confit, and served with Oaxacan black mole. The pastry was nice and crispy, and the duck confit was super flavorful, so I didn't see the need for the mole (though that was delicious by itself!). The Pescado Tikin Xic was a Yucatán fish fillet grilled with annato seed, which added a nice charred red finish; and the Huachinango a la Veracruzana was a red snapper fillet in a Veracruz-style tomato sauce with capers and prunes. But my favorite dish of all was the Legendary Mole Negro from Oaxaca, a thick, dark, black, sweet, savory, chocolatey, nutty sauce with a complex mix of flavors. The mole was served with a piece of tender boneless "milk-fed baby chicken". The meat with sauce was perfect for wrapping up in their fresh, chewy homemade tortillas, which were imprinted with colorful designs! Overall, the food here was delicious and artfully prepared, but the prices were certainly high for the small portion sizes.
