Oh. My. Goodness! Stop here for some authentic and affordable mexican food! We walked from our hotel and got two tacos, two Sopes, the asada fries and an horchata for $22! Very quick and friendly service too! The positions were what you would expect- but the sopes and fries were piled high! The al pastor and Barbacoa were our favorite meats, but the lingua and chicken were great too! As well as the asada fries! Tried to order the pork skin too, but they were out. Such a delicious and fresh option! Definitely recommend and definitely will be back! Didn't even get to take a picture before we dug in and enjoyed everything! read more

Terrible service and food. 0 star rating. We bought 4 tacos, and they put a whole cilantro plant on 2 of the tacos, raw onions on one, and cooked onions on the last. You could see no meat.. When we asked if they could remake it or refund us. They said no and threw an attitude. Never once were we rude.. They also said if we want "less cilantro to go to McDonald's." Being a new customer, they expected us to know what they served and how they served it. I know how mexican food is made and those tacos we're not it.. Crazy experience. Wouldn't recommend it. Out of all that crap they were talking, they refunded us and asked for the food back.. We walked away; getting in our car, backed up, and they came out of their truck, saying to get out of here and never come back. They flipped us off, and we gladly responded with a recording. This all happened in front of The Corner Fellowship. That family is an embarrassment, I feel bad for the fellowship allowing them to continue. Had Micas for the first time today and it was awesome. The al pastor tacos were some of the best that I've ever had. I've noticed a few poor customer service reviews and I'll just say that I found the service to be just fine. I mean it's a taco truck...you tell them what you want and then they make it for you. Not sure what else you would need. I'll make sure I'm stopping by next time I'm in the Springs. read more

I've been searching for this food truck for almost a year but couldn't remember the name of it. Finally stumbled across it again. The food was just as good as I remembered. Their smothered burritos are *chef's kiss* only thing is I wish their were sides like rice or something included with meal. Even without that I still definitely recommend trying it out. read more

So we just moved to COS this month and I'm on a mission to find the best tacos in town. I'm from Texas so you can imagine my pickiness. Several people recommended we check out Micas. It was quite a hike from where we live but I'll drive distance for some good tacos. When we arrived I was a little weirded out by the sketchy area because there was a lot of homeless people camping out around the street. That aside, we ordered our food and some Hortchatas to enjoy drinking on the drive home. Man the Hortchata was AMAZING!!! Definitely one of the best ones I've ever had... it really made the long drive home pleasant. Now the verdict on the food.... I probably wouldn't order the Gorditas ever again because they're kinda on the small side from what I'm used to in Texas. The tacos on the other hand were delicious. I had the Asada which is kinda like cut up fajita meat. My only complaint was that it was clearly boiled meat instead of grilled. That aside, the flavor was super delicious and the salsas were awesome. The red one was a little spicy for me but my husband loved it. The green one was the winner. Overall, this place is pretty solid. We enjoyed it. read more

ZERO STARS!!!! But it made me select one. Absolutely worse service and attitude I've ever received from anywhere little less a small business like a taco truck!!! They had their young son 10 to 12 years old taking orders and they had a sign that said cheeseburger and fries $8.00, so I ordered some tacos asked for a burger with no cheese and the dad turned around and told me no we don't do that, so I figured they were out of hamburgers but looking back I think he said no because I asked a special order (no cheese). Than I had ordered some tacos and almost immediately I changed my mind to gordiatas and the little boy started huffing and puffing and smacking his lips at me than the mom turned around and rolled her eyes (he hadn't even ring it up yet)!!! I was like wow...... but I let it go and didn't say anything because he was a little boy! After they prepared my order I opened the boxes to check it and I asked for a few more salsa's and the dad asked me how many I said like 3 or 4 and he tells me $1 for 3. That was the last straw I told him no I'm not paying for those and as I walked away I told them I will NEVER come back here!!! we ordered 6 tacos with no onions. The cost was about $17 dollars. We have never been to this food truck before. When we got our order it was covered with onions. I told the guy I wanted no onions but he refused to make me new ones. He was very rude and disrespectful. He even refused to give me my money back. Pulled into town, I spotted this food truck as we drove by. I grabbed a couple carne asada tacos. Took them back to the hotel. Ate them. I stopped back and grabbed a few more for my dad and I. Today is a sad day. We've been going to Micas on Harrison Rd since they began. We've lived in this area since about 1996. We love their food but lately we've noticed a consistent decline in customer service for certain customers. Today, I went to order my favorite pork torta and asked for extra avocado. I was shown an avocado and told that I couldn't have extra. Ok, but I can still have a torta. No, I was told there was no avocado for me. I ended up ordering a gordita, $8.00. Sad. I actually watched as other folks came up, got discounts and free drinks. I'm not asking for that but I'd like to get what I've ordered. The last few orders, they've not given us drinks or sauces we've ordered but been charged for. Today I asked for a couple of additional hot sauces and was told that in the future they would charge us extra. I don't know when their wonderful service changed but I don't think we'll not be going back. So sad. I like supporting small businesses but not when they forget who has supported them all along. I tried to upload the pic of their 2" gordita but it said the file was too big. read more
