I've known Drew for a few years, but only as a fellow personal trainer. He just finished massage school and I wanted to see how well he learned his new trade. I made an appointment for a massage with him at our gym, Hi Fi Fitness, (not the quietest place but he also does in homes too!). We went over the spots where there was some issues, He certainly found the spots as well as a few new ones. Ouch!! Now Drew is more of a clinical massage therapist, so it may not be a relaxing rub, however if you need a sports massage then you may want to go in his direction. He also was able to find some imbalances with my body, where things were being pulled on rather than just tight. These area needed to be reworked, (he also suggested some exercises too to boot), and the opposing areas stretched... yes, I'm guilty of not practicing what I preach all the time. Drew knows the human body and for being so out of school such a short time ago, it is rather impressive. He knows his stuff and he also listens, so when the pressure got to be too much, just a simple mention of "lighter" and he was able to adjust on the spot and checked in through out to see if it was okay. Next time my body is full of aches and pains, I'll be ringing him up.
