Each every time I go to Broomall Eye care, I get the right prescription! This may sound obvious; but trust me, I have had many bad experiences on the road. Recently, my wife came along for my visit. Dr A also looked at her eyes to see what he could diagnose. My wife has had eye trouble for years astigmatisms, retina/macula problems. Dr A advised her to see a cataract surgeon as he thought there was no other damage that he could assess. Long story short, my wife went to a recommended specialist and she now sees better than she has in many years. Dr A is a great Dr. I highly recommend his services. Unassuming, quiet and humble but very professional and knowledgable. Great Dr! And, yes, my glasses are the right prescription and work great!

What made the situation worse was the staff member's attitude. She was extremely rude and disrespectful. When she realized the errors, she did not offer any explanation or apology and instead blamed the lab, saying there was nothing she could do. I have been a customer at this store for four years, and she is by far the most unprofessional and unpleasant person I have encountered there. I selected Jahnle because of convenient location, free parking, and yes, examination, and eyeglasses. Stacks of eyeglasses in different colors and styles were neatly positioned ahead as I entered the office. The office was eye-pleasing, properly lit, and well-appointed. The staff was professional and courteous. An assistant promptly completed a questionnaire as I provided answers about my health status. She applied drops for the standard Glaucoma and retinal examinations. The tests were conducted quickly and comfortably. Best yet, no sign of vision deterioration and no need for replacement glasses. The examining physician, Dr. Mekel, indicated that I would not need another exam for two years. Although glasses could be ordered here, he provided a prescription in the event I wished glasses manufactured elsewhere. A pleasant experience!

I noticed this unassuming shop on my way to my chiropractor and thought I'd see if they could help me out. They could not have been friendlier. I received a second eye exam from them. It was a night and day difference. The optometrist took her time and really made sure the prescription was right. While the other place relied on machines to tell them what to do, these people were old school in their approach and highly skilled. They had a good selection of high quality frames and provided great service at every step. If you want to make sure you're dealing with real professionals, Visionary Eyewear is a great choice. I don't normally write reviews, but this is one of those places you could walk by without even noticing and it was one of my better eye care experiences.
