He also helped us with the purchase of our new house. One of my favorite things about Mike was his knowledge of everything home-related. While looking at houses, he was able to spot things we missed (Ex: cracks in the exterior wall) and identify if they were a big deal or not. This was incredibly helpful and saved us a ton of money because we were able to avoid paying for inspections on homes that we knew would reveal costly repairs. Mike "has a guy" for everything... we would mention that we didn't like the floors or landscape or bathroom in a house, Mike would assure us that he has people that can fix anything. When we had an inspection that revealed that just about everything needed to be replaced, he suggested that we walk away from the home. We really valued his honesty and appreciated his insight. Unfortunately, that meant we would not be able to get into a new house before we had to vacate the old house. We have two kids and were going to be left (temporarily) without a home. Most realtors would shrug, suggest a hotel, and go about their day. Not Mike. Our family was relocating from out of state, with that comes the added stress of being less familiar with the area. I spoke with 4 agents prior to choosing to work with Mike and his team. During our conversation, Mike asked me questions about our families lifestyle. Mike D'Elena and his team are truly spectacular from the first phone call to the closing 24 days later. Our goal was to find and purchase a rental property for ASU students (we live in CA.) We chose Team D'Elena based on Yelp reviews. 2 phone conversations about what we were looking for and Mike chose a variety of properties to show us.
