Disclosure: I tried this food at their booth in Long Island City during the Memorial Day Street Fair. The food from Michael's is really good! They have so many different options for different types of dishes such as tacos, burritos, quesadillas. I got the steak quesadilla and it was absolutely amazing. It was a pretty large sized tortilla with steak, cheese and covered in Oaxaca cheese, spicy sauce, and guacamole (in sauce form). The portions were really good and the deal was for a quesadilla with a side salad and soda for $15. I don't know if these are their normal prices but for that same price it definitely felt more authentic than any chains I've been too. Service was super friendly and the food took a relatively short period of time to be ready (about 5 minutes). Definitely want to come back and try the tacos Godwillingly! read more

Good deli that makes surprisingly good Mexican food. Tacos, nachos, burritos, quesadillas and more. I ordered from Michael's all summer while my son was in the summer program over at PS 102. It's consistently good, good portion, but they could be a little bit slow if they're a little busy. You can call ahead and place your orders. As for the deli, it's a huge improvement from what it use to be when I grew up in the area. They carry all kinds of Modelo Cheladas, as well as the Budweiser Clamato picante Chelada. Yummy tacos! So far have only eaten the tacos, they were very fresh and full of flavor. They give a side of radishes and sometimes cucumbers. Sauce is good too, not too spicy. They once messed up my order at pickup and gave me a burrito instead of tacos. Didn't realize till I got home, so I ended up eating the burrito and placing an order of tacos and paying the difference. The burrito was really good! Would order it again. read more

Looks like a traditional deli when you walk through the door, and you may be a little dissuaded if you anticipated an authentic Mexican place. But tough it out. It's a really great place and the food is amazing. Definitely worth the block or two walk to try it out! read more

I live next door to this store. I will never in my life will walk to this store. Just walk Queen Blvd n fine better deli. This is a real monopoly marketer. If you buy anything, they don't have a scanner n price depends on who is the cashier. They guess looking at fucking ceiling. Numbers of times it happened to me. The tacos here are sooooo delicious!!! The quesadillas are my favorite! The chorizo quesadillas are soooo delicious! I enjoy small family owned businesses that make authentic food, they have lunch every day and it is very affordable, a hidden gem really cause there's a lot of food trucks on queens blvd that aren't that great but this little store packs a punch with their flavors. the worst food and service the person who makes the food is very bad. i wanted their tacos without onions and he said ok. but the cook made it with a lot of onions and he even added big chunks of white inions and a whole piece of green onion. . the green inion head was there and a lot of green avocado paste ..it is not that bad but it was all over (Very bad) they were laughing like it was a joke but they did gave me my $6. back to me because it was disgusting to even see it as food.. read more

Only reason why I give you 2 stars is because you're overpriced for everything ! 1 chocolate bar and other candies are 1.50 $ , .50 cents more than any other deli . A pack of Fake Bluntvilles called Dvilles are 8.99 each . THEYRE NOT ORIGINALS BOSS ! A Slightly seasoned , very thin sliced steak sandwich is 8$ . I'm not from around the way but I laugh and rate these companies who are taking hard earned money away from the people of this community . One razor blade that is .50 cent I got charged 1.25$ . It's an outrage and we must stand up together and rid our community of such greedy companies.
