I made the mistake of coming here on a weekend, and this place was absolutely packed. I quickly grabbed the few items I came for and waited on a line that wrapped around half the store. My cashier checked me out in record speed, and I was able to grab one of those Trader Joe bags in blue that everyone has been walking around with which have been hard to come by at my local Trader Joe's in LIC. If this is the closest Trader Joe's to you then you'll have to make due, I would just recommend coming here at off hours if you can.

A few staple items were also out of stock, which was a bit disappointing for a regular grocery run. That said, the produce section was excellent--really fresh and well stocked, probably the highlight of the store. I'll be coming here more often while my usual UWS location is under renovation since it's still convenient for me, especially given it used to be my old neighborhood. Unfortunately, the experience was heavily overshadowed by an uncomfortable situation with a security guard who followed us around the store. It was very off-putting and honestly diminished the entire visit. If I hadn't been in a rush, I would have left my items right where I stood and walked out. Security should be focused on individuals who are actually stealing, not hovering over someone carrying a tiny bag where nothing could even be hidden.
