    This review is WAY overdue for which I apologize but it needs to be publicized because of the above…read more& beyond customer service that I received by the State Farm office of Mr. James Clark. Last year, I was on a trip to Key West, FL and had someone hit me while I was legally parked waiting for the famous Key West sunset. The well known nationwide insurance company of the at-fault person was very bad in handling my claim and the repairs to my vehicle. Because of my great relationship with State Farm, I called Ms. Mary Goldberg at my agent's office and told her of my predicament. From that moment on, I had daily contact with Mary which involved at least a half dozen calls for the next few days where Mary constantly told me "I would advise you to do the following" over and over and over. Mary also expeditiously sent me whatever policy documents could help ease my difficulties. But what I'm most grateful for is that although this claim was not something that State Farm had to do anything about as it wasn't my fault, Mary never hesitated to provide me assistance, call me back immediately when I left messages and, as I mentioned before, she willingly volunteered to provide me advice as to what I should do, even if that bad insurance company told me that I couldn't do it. For example, the claims department would tell me one thing and Mary would tell me to call the claims adjuster DIRECTLY and let the adjuster know that this was unacceptable and that what I was told by the claims department doesn't make sense and is basically punishing me when the accident wasn't my fault. (I'm happy to give the outrageous details to anyone interested). But for the sake of the length of this review, I just want it known that EVERY SINGLE piece of advice that Mary told me, I followed that advice and EVERY SINGLE TIME I WON the dispute with that horrible insurance company! This shows me that at State Farm, I'm not just a client but employees like Mary Goldberg treat me like family! I hope that State Farm truly knows what an INCREDIBLE employee they have in Ms. Mary Goldberg. If they don't, then they need to read this review. Thank you Mary for ALL your help. I would have most likely cursed out that horrible insurance company if it wasn't for you which I'm sure would NOT have helped my cause! Instead I just followed your lead and everything was resolved as well as could be expected! You are a true blessing! My sincere apologies again for the delay in posting it! :(

James Clark and his cohort of misfits are not trustworthy they are wolves in sheep's clothing in the business of plundering your bank account. If you are in the market for any type of policies do yourselves a favor and look elsewhere unless you are interested in being fleeced by James Clark and associates!. If you currently have any policies with James Clark I implore you to take the time out to obtain estimates & due diligence with other insurance providers as I am sure you will notice dramatic savings. In my experience I found James Clarks pricing to be highly exaggerated and unfortunately for me he had taken advantage of my family and I for years.

I transferred my…read moreexisting State Farm policy when I relocated to Maryland from Utah to Steve, and the level of service I received from his customer service representative, Fonteyn, has been excellent. When I moved to MD I was in a pickle as I needed to hurry up and register to vote before the registration cut off. While doing this at the (terrible) MVA, I failed to provide the MVA with my updated insurance information. Well if you have no experience with the MD MVA, they are a bunch of scam artists. By failing to provide them with my MD insurance card, I was immediately assessed a $150 fine, and accrued additional fines of $7 per day. The kind folks at the MVA did not inform me of the fine, and I was only notified when the MVA decided to do an audit and send out collection notices. While I was properly insured in MD, the work required to have the fines forgiven is not simple. Thankfully Fonteyn knew the the magic procedure, and helped me correct the issue with the MVA, no fines paid. I could not be happier. I would strongly recommend this State Farm Agent if you are moving into the MD area, and are in need of a new Agent.

After spending 15 minutes of discussion gaining zero traction with obtaining a quote or insurance, I'd request to speak with a supervisor. Scott was condescending with responses while denying my request to speak with his supervisor. As a consumer, callers have the right to escalate any call to gain more knowledge about products & services. The call with representative, Scott, was disconnected due to rude behavior & not fulfilling the request. I called back to speak with another representative, Michael. When expressing concerns with the way I was treated by Scott, Michael in turn began suggesting he could help without locating a supervisor. At this point, I'd rather speak with a supervisor but was denied again by Michael. When explaining the reason behind my supervisor's request, he became rather sensitive & disconnected the call. I was attempting to become a new customer with Amica Mutual. However, due to the customer service received twice by call center representatives, I am no longer interested in engaging with this company. The guys are sensitive, rude & will disconnect your calls. Finally, I called to speak with a young lady who left a message for a supervisor to return my call. Now waiting but will not hold my breath. The search continues for a reputable insurance company with significantly awesome phone customer service & etiquette.

Unfortunately, the experience went downhill from there. When I bought another property and needed some documentation from them, they would not respond and cooperate with my lender. It was only when I left a bad review on Google and threatened to switch company that someone contacted me to resolve the issue. Then, recently, they increased my premium without informing me. I've had no claims and no changes to my property and cars. I emailed them to ask but no one bothered to respond. Enough is enough. I switched.

    Terrible Customer Service…read more I experienced the worst customer service with this company. My initial rate was $132/year (the first household member is free, and additional members are $5/year). However, my renewal rate ended up being $296 ($128 plus $84 for each additional member). When I reached out to customer service to ask why these prices weren't reflected during my initial signup, the representative responded, "I am not going to discuss this with you." With customer service like this, it's hard not to wonder how long it will be before this company joins the ranks of Sears and K-Mart. P.S. Check Your Car Insurance Be sure to review your car insurance; most companies cover towing at a fraction of AAA's cost. If you're looking to use AAA for travel planning, consider using the internet instead. I can't believe people are still going here to "book a trip to Niagara Falls."

Recently, appointments have been an issue when doing it online. The online system doesn't account for staffing, like not having the diagnostic checked on Saturdays. When I rescheduled for a Tuesday, I checked voicemail to find another canceled appointment. I listened to that cancellation after checking in. Thankfully, I was squeezed in and my car was checked. I did see others who had appointments turned away. The online appointment system needs to be remedied so that it's efficient and accurate.
