If you care about your hair, you go to Cal for your color. Every professional at this salon is excellent, super friendly, and gracious. They all do great color and styles. I think Cal's color and hair treatments transform ordinary or abused hair into beautiful, naturally healthy, bright, and soft. He's a colorist to the stars and I'm grateful to be his client. He's outrageously good. Chad is also great, and his cuts are SUPER flattering. I get serious compliments on his styles. You will not be disappointed. The salon is super clean and you are socially distanced. Masks are required and available. Everyone works to keep you safe. The new receptionist is responsive and attentive. There are, however, some relaxation-related disappointments. The shampoo chairs are not what you typically find in salons of this caliber. They are uncomfortable and dated. I keep going because the services there are by top-notch professionals, but I miss the Osgood and Fekkai (now Cerón) relaxation chairs, the hair massage shampoos, and spa-like environment. Parking during Covid is also difficult. Valet is coming back and that is a good thing if they use safe practices. Also, it is nice to shop in the store after the service. read more

I made the decision a couple of years ago to embrace my curls 24/7 and stop straightening it. I went to Glenn to help rid my hair of some damage a year ago. I came back yesterday to help give my curls further definition and shape. I received so many compliments about how healthy and great my hair looks after leaving the salon yesterday. The cut is worth every single penny. He will show you some techniques to make your curls pop, introduce you to new products, etc. JUST ASK! I lucked i out getting Kenn Moore to cut and style my hair. He's great fun to talk to, but he really listened to my hair which sometimes is straight, sometimes wavy, with a curly under layer. He spends all the time he needs to discover to what you'd like to see. He asks questions and makes sure you understand what the daily upkeep is for your look. If he really isn't crazy about your selection, he'll suggest quality adjustments. And then he executes exactly what you talked about, until you're perfectly happy. On top of that he's hysterically fun to talk to, and if you don't feel chatty he just lets you muse in silence. I'm so lucky to have found Kenn. He does updos, too, on short notice. Glenn Charles is a great stylist. He listens, takes his time, and actually understands hair texture and curl pattern. My hair is recovering from damage I caused from having left on a chemical straightener too long. Glenn was able to give me a cut that helped my hair have a style instead of looking like a massive, frizzy mushroom that had to be pulled back at all times. Worst salon in Dallas. Ken lied to me for months scamming thousands upon thousands of dollars out of me, and the manager Jade didn't even care, did not reprimand him once, and just stuck me with another stylist who STILL did my hair wrong, and I STILL had to pay hundreds of dollars to correct it. Furthermore, I have paid for tons of hair that has been lost and ruined by the stylists, to the point that I have barely any extensions in my hair (it looks ridiculous). I called asking to pick up the rest of the hair I have rightfully purchased, as I am fed up and will be going to a better stylist, and not only has the manager avoided me and my concerns, but they lied to me once again and told me they don't have any of the hair I have spend thousands on. Unfortunately, I did not have the same experience as these other reviews. It started out badly and ended very poorly on the Salon's side. I am not a stylist, but somewhere during my highlight my ends came out very dry and lost all curl around the frame of my face. I kept K-pack deep conditioner (24/7) on my hair for several days and when I returned to another stylist (on my request) they only had time for a consult. I thought they would try and resolve the issue at hand. I did get a full refund but left in tears with my hair a mess. They are located in a very well know retail store so their lack of resolve to correct my damaged hair is beyond me. The good news for me was that I was able to walk into a another salon in the area and they took me in right away! She had to cut off a good 2 inches of my hair and style it. This is what I was hoping for when I returned to Michael Flores thinking it would be resolved. read more

I never really saw myself walking into Neiman's for hair color, but when Chad was highly recommended I decided to give it a go. I felt comfortable that I was in good hands from the moment I walked in and was greeted at the reception desk. Chad spent time (and continues to spend time at the beginning of each appointment) to discuss my hair, my likes and dislikes and my wishes before he did or suggested anything. Until the Covid 19 quarantine, I had been dying my what had been almost black hair in my 20s to a an increasingly less startling brown.
