Seriously avoid at all costs; they have consistent bad reviews on here and on BBB.org for a reason! Their membership program is a scam and there's no way to get out of it. Yes, $80 for a set is cheap but it's poorly done and causes pain. Yes, $59.99/month sounds cheap but if you want a certain style, like 6D volume, it's an additional $25 and if you want a good stylist it's an additional $40+ as well. So it adds up to over $100 just for a fill with a decent lash tech. My first full 6D set was done by an entry level lash tech (I didn't know that at the time) and she did not isolate each lash. I should have ran out of there right when she showed me the PRE-MADE FANS she was going to use on my lashes. When she finished, there was white residue on my lash line that was obviously not normal. She said it would dry up in 15 minutes... No, it didn't dry up or disappear in 15 minutes, not even in 1-2 days! I literally had to scrape off the white glue residue. She used so much glue that some were glued onto my eyelid. The lashes that weren't glued stuck to my eyelid started to fall off within a couple days, AND the fans didn't just fall off one by one. They fell off in CLUMPS and when they did, I'd see at least one of my natural lashes stuck on them! There was a clump that had A FEW 6D fans GLUED together that fell off my lashes and took off five of my natural lashes with it. FIVE. They do not isolate your lashes like a normal lash artist should! I really wanted to like this place because of the convenience; only a 2 minute walk from my apt. I gave them another chance and signed up for the membership because I refuse to pay nearly $200 for a fill. With membership a fill was $59.99 + $25 for 6D volume. Before signing, I made sure that it would be an easy process to get out of the membership in case I still was not satisfied. The employee at the front assured that I just need to notify them of my cancellation before my next billing cycle so I don't get charged. So I signed up. For my first fill, I was scheduled with a "senior stylist" which is the step under the master stylist. I arrived to my appointment on time but was left sitting in the waiting room for 20-30 minutes without being told that she was running late. Honestly this shows that they don't value you or your time here. I mentioned to the lash tech that the person who did my full set did not isolate my lashes and told her to make sure it doesn't happen again. When she was doing my fill, I couldn't help but notice that her hands smelled dirty like she didn't wash her hands before touching my lashes! When I got home after the fill, I noticed that some lashes were glued on to my eyelid. This is seriously not healthy for lashes because they don't have room to grow properly! My second and last fill with them was with the same "senior stylist" but I was told that they "ran out" of 6D volume fans. How can you run out? They offered to reschedule me but that wasn't an option for me because I had an event later that day and didn't want to go with sparse-ratchet-looking lashes. They should have informed their clients ahead of time that they don't have certain lash styles in stock and not on the day of the appointment. I decided to get them done and see what the lash tech could do. She did a fill on me and it was the thickest and heaviest classic lash I have ever seen.. It was sad because it looked so fake and plasticky... When they rang me up they charged me for 6D. Why would you charge me for 6D when you apparently are out of 6D??? For the third and final time, I left feeling ripped off and unhappy. A couple days pass and I notice again that the lashes had too much glue and were glued on my eyelid. Again, it's SO painful as it grew out because there's so much glue and it was glued on my eyelid. My lashes felt stiff and uncomfortable. I've had enough and went in last week to cancel my membership. I made sure to come before my billing cycle as instructed. They told me that a manager would call within 3 days. Called them in 3 days to follow up and they said they'll leave a note.. followed up again 2 days after and they still could not help me. Finally the manager who always sounds indifferent and unhappy calls back to tell me that they put me on a contract and can't take off my membership!! They are basically forcing me to stay!? Who forces people to stay?! They literally want to rob you of your money by lying about the membership! Do not be scammed into signing up! I was so upset and stressed out with the way the "manager" handled my complaints that I filed a formal complaint on the BBB. If you look at the complaints on BBB, they all seem to be consistent! I wouldn't be surprised if we saw a class action lawsuit against this unethical company! I've had lash extensions for 2+ years now and have seen many lash artists. Extremely disappointed!! I went for the first time Sunday April 28th and got a full set by a girl named Toya. Before booking my appointment I informed the lady at the front desk I would like a Junior lash tech. I didn't want anyone new because I was afraid my lashes wouldn't last. Guess that didn't matter! I've had my lashes for a week now and my right eye has about 4 lashes left! This is extremely disappointing considering I spent almost 2 hours getting them done, and paid $90 for a weeks worth of lashes. Now, I initially tried this location because my coworker gets her lashes done here and hers are amazing. I don't know what happened with my technician but my lashes are a joke!! I will NOT return and honestly for the work I received I feel as if I should be refunded. I've been wearing lashes for over 5 years and I have never had lashes fall off so quickly. Loyal amazing lash client for the past 7 years at multiple locations. i've been going to the dallas west village location for atleast a year and a half. Ashley is incredible, does AMAZING work and is so kind. Every time she does my lashes they look INCREDIBLE. But.... i work a 9-6 job so i would always take a 7 pm appointment every other week. Amazing lash west village is now only taking appointments until 6 pm. I cannot leave my job early and they had no care to accommodate me. I will be cancelling my membership and moving to an independent lash tech. i'm super upset about it but it is what it is. i'll miss ashley the most, she did such an amazing job it's so hard to find a great lash tech like her. read more

I give this place 2 stars because its convenient and easy to book a last minute appointment. However, the actual lash service is terrible. I previously had a bad experience with Amazing Lash but I decided to give it another try. I told the lash tech I wanted a long wispy style, which she provided, but the finished product was very sparse. I also lost ALL of the false lashes (and a several natural lashes) in less than a week. This only happens when I go to Amazing Lash. To make matters worse, I was charged an additional $20 for the service because I was serviced by a master stylist. Beware: This information is not provided when you book nor is it listed anywhere on the website that the tech is a master stylist. Totally unacceptable. Definitely not worth the money. This place certainly lived up to their horrible reputation. My first experience was wonderful (Thank you, Carolina). The service plummeted after I returned for a refill. I lost 5 lashes on a single eye within 48 hours. I [regretfully] returned for a complimentarily fill with Latoya. Latoya was extremely unfriendly and unprofessional. She acted as though my visit was an inconvenience. I didn't get so much as a "hello", when I walked in the room. Not only was her attitude offensive, she lacked skill. She sloppily plied on more lashes and left glue visible in some spots. The manager, Ashley, was visibly upset when I requested the membership be cancelled. She made no attempts to retain my business. This place is just awful. I've been going since January of 2021 at least 2 times a month, sometimes once a week and it's been nothing but problems. From bad lash jobs, to technicians not showing up for my appts to being overcharged. One time... they even tried to make me leave with one eye having more lashes than the other because they " ran out of time", even though they started my appointment late? The last straw for me was being significantly over charged for another bad lash job. On every occasion I had an issue, and there were plenty, they always told me a manager would call me back. I am 2.5 hours post visit and had to put post-surgical Lotemax drops (steroid) in my eyes bc the chemicals in the "sensitive" glue were so harsh!! I will NEVER go back here. I've been to several of the locations but I usually go to the Greenville one as I've been a member for over a year now. I had company coming into town so I booked an early appt today for 9 am as this one since it was near my gym and took an Uber over there only to get there and find out they booked it for next week when I'm out of town. I never would've booked that day knowing I wouldn't be in town this was after they called me to fix an apt a week ago because their stylist could no longer take me today but I was told they could get me in with someone else same time. This was second time with an issue as I also had to call twice because no one got back to me about an appt I had try to schedule a few weeks ago as well. Nothing was done to credit me for the inconvenience and I barely got an apology for their mistake. Very poor customer service by management! I was new to the area and was looking for a new place to try. This place was very convenient to my apartment so i decided to give it a try. I have never left this place happy!! They were always messy, not full enough to where i needed to come back the next week for a fill (just to get more money out of me) so i tried a different location (Greenville), They were great over there as far a service went but i was still not satisfied with my lashes. When i tried to cancel my membership the manager told me i wasn't able to cancel because i was under a contract, which wasn't true. I never signed a contracted for 12 months, she proceeded to say im looking at your contract right now & thats what you signed, only to soon find out later she was looking at the wrong account the whole time. This wasn't the first time i tried to cancel, the previous manager told me that i only needed to cancel 10 days prior to my billing date and the new manager told me she could not honor that and that they will be billing me for one more month because i have to give 30 day notice. I called and they gave me a 30 minute complimentary fix. However, they only semi- fixed one eye and only put two lashes on my other eye! They said that the time ran out. They care more about the time slots than a customer leaving looking halfway decent. Then, they had the audacity to ask for gratuity and if I wanted a membership. I asked for another complimentary 30 minute time slot and they would have to ask management. I did receive a call offering an hour service to correct this but I declined. This place is a scam and they only care about making money. They have completely ruined my lashes. I have gone to quite a few artists over the past 2 years and this has been the worst experience. The only reason I decided to come here was because my work schedule is so erratic and it's relatively easy to get an appt last minute. I won't go as far as to specifically name anyone, but the master artist here was aware of another artist who was using a bad or improper technique, basically causing my lashes be falling out much more than they should be. The master artist told me not to go back to her for a while until the she was able to correct it with her. Fast forward two months.. I call to book an appointment and they confirmed it would be with said artist. Well here we are again...my lashes are F'ED UP. They're caked with glue, they hurt, and my real lashes are falling out like 8 at a time... I'm pissed that they knew this was an issue and never did anything about it. I pay $200 a month for this service... this is BS. I feel like I deserve a refund for this month. I've been calling to speak with a manager to try to discontinue my month to month membership. i'm a loyal amazing lash customer/member. i normally go to the location close to my house but this one was around the corner from my job and i've never had a bad experience until now. tech was sweet. from my understanding she was a "master stylist" but my lashes weren't done well. my volumes were just thrown onto my lashes it seemed like. they were bent/stuck to one another. one eye retention was great the other one wasn't so good. when my lashes are falling out (as some should) multiple lashes are stuck to the poorly made volume fan with eye pain.. it could have just been a bad day but when it comes to something like the eyes which is one of the first things people see i would have just expected more. read more

I have gotten my lashes done for two consecutive years from multiple salons and I moved to Dallas in June so I know a bit about how my lash cycle works . I booked an appointment in August for my birthday (important to remember I went from June to August with lashes from a previous salon) I got conned into signing my life away to a membership at the checkout because a) it was a good deal b) it was close to my apartment and I didn't know of any other salons and c) I liked the way the lashes looked when they were freshly done. The lashes fell out extremely quickly but I understand lashes have a cycle so I went in for a fill... within a week they were gone... again. So I got them filled again... basically gone again in 7ish days. I when I went to the salon again for another fill and told them this has never happened to me ever and there must be an issue ...they blamed it all on me and didn't try to problem solve or seem to care. Then told me I couldn't get out of my contract until FEBRUARY so for the last 6 months even though I have been paying for lashes you'd never know it because they fall out instantly. I do not have the time, no do I want to spend my time in the salon for an hour every week. One time I had an event coming up and since I was locked into this contract of hell, I booked an appointment...the day of I got a call from the salon that the stylist couldn't do my appointment but they said I could come in at a later time to see someone else. I couldn't make that later time so I asked to move the appointment to the next day. The receptionist told me if I didn't come that day I would have to pay a 50% cancellation fee on top of the price for my service. FOR THEIR ERROR. I asked the girl if she was serious and she told me yes. I didn't have an option because I really needed my lashes done so I paid 1.5x the price for them to fall out a week later. January FINALLY came around and I told the salon I was going to cancel. They made me fill out a form where I clearly stated in detail the reason I was canceling but yet still had the audacity to call me and ask "hi so we were wondering why you were canceling" ...???? ...really... did you not read the paper I was forced to fill out? Did you not listen to my frustration over the last 6 months? Have you not read everyone else's yelp reviews... My guess is no. The ONLY semi positive about this place is they have a pretty wide availability and you can typically get in same day or next day if it's urgent. But I guess that's because everyone else has the same issue and nobody wants to go here. I have a remaining credit that I'll keep and use for a free fill when a quality salon can't get me in... even though the full will only last a week. The location is clean and bright. Every time I arrive the hosts are right there to greet and check you in. I have a membership and sometimes I forget what exactly the value is. Everyone on the team is so helpful in my experience, and always make a point to work with me. They are punctual and usually respond in record time. Granted, most of my problems fall on the technicians' work, (personally wonderful girls) but I have had a couple instances where the lashes were either painful or they didn't hold past a few days. But those are one offs! This location has a great environment, a great team, and they have for the most part a wonderful assortment of technicians. I'm extremely upset with the way the staff is trained, and the way the company handles their members. Let's start out with their website. No where does it talk about membership cancellation policies. They avoid this as much as possible that they refuse to have this posted like any business would on their site. They do however have the membership transfer request. So if you want to cancel? Good luck, you have to call that specific location. If you signed a membership a year ago or even months ago, you have no way of knowing what the contract says because of the site, and lack of communication the company will tell you. So here's how this allllllll went down. I called about 4 days ago trying to cancel my membership with the Dallas location off of McKinney. I tell the lady that I don't want to continue my membership, I can't have that financial commitment anymore. (I have massive vet bills that need to be payed after one of our babies passed away unfortunately). I've had this membership now for what, a year? And I've only gone a handful of times. Literally wasting my money at this point. I said, "I usually get charged on the 23rd, and I can't pay that, so that's why I'm calling now, to avoid that." She was sweet, and she tells me of course, she understands, and that she would go ahead and put in my cancellation request and that someone would be giving me a call. So let's pause there. When you're told that, you automatically think that this "request" is a confirmation that your account has been cancelled when you get this call. Maybe the next day or so, while I'm at work, Tori leaves me a voicemail about this asking to call back. When I saw this, I called back but they were closed so I called the next morning. Now this time I'm talking to a different lady over the phone. (2nd time now) and I let her know about the voicemail and that I'm returning a call. Well she tells me that Tori will not be in for the next few days and that she would be back on Sunday, which is the 24th. I already saw a problem with this, since my card is usually charged on the 23rd. I let the girl know that I still didn't want to be charged, and that there was a reason why I called ahead of time. Again, same response, but she said she would put a note in the system for me. Okay. I wait. I was charged on the 23rd. I called on Sunday the 24th since I knew that Tori would be in, and I let her know that I had already cancelled and that I would like the charge reversed. She tells me that she can't, but my membership has officially been cancelled now, and I'll have 6 months of the credits I had accumulated to use. I explained to her that I had already cancelled and of course you could see how I would be mislead as a customer and member with this "cancellation request" crap. I said, "so why didn't the last two girls I spoke with tell me about the 30 day window? And that I would still be charged?" She sits here and tells me, "because they're not trained on cancellations." Okay, regardless if they can process this or not, they should be able to tell you about the 30 days. ESPECIALLY since any store/business/company trains all of their employees on returns/cancellations. Tell me, when you walk into a store to return something, does the staff not know their own policy? No. Tori tells me that they are not trained, therefore they cannot talk to customers about cancellations. OKAY. So I ask her, "so they can sell me the membership but can't tell me about the 30 policy? That seems shady, it's the same people that answer the phones at the front." What company would do that?! I hope you "train" your employees properly. This all would have been different if I would have been told the first time that I called about this 30 day process and that I would have still been charged, because honestly I would have just accepted this and been like, "rats, guess I just have to figure out how to pay this." But instead, I'm thrown through this loop with multiple phone calls, charged, and THEN told about the 30 day window after my money was taken all because, "they're not trained." Okay, train them. Simple. AND, if you're site would have mentioned the cancellation policy, I wouldn't have even bothered and just moved on, but there's nothing on there. Go look. When trying to write a complaint, they have an "info" email, which the response I got was to contact said specific location I have dealt with. Jesus guys. STAY AWAY IF YOU LOVE YOUR LASHES!!!!! I was in desperate need to find a lash studio as the one I had been going to was going through some changes and had few appointments. I read all the terrible reviews about ALS but a girl at work said she had a great experience so I decided to give it a try. The lashes are very coarse in texture and the girls are very minimally skilled at best. I went a total of 4 times hoping for a better outcome each time, never happened. My eyes itched so bad EVERY TIME and one of the girls even put glue all over the lashes themselves!!!! I finally was able to go back to my old studio and they said my lashes were patchy and had damage from all the glue. It took my lash stylist over an hour to remove the trash job that ALS did, there was soooooo much piled up glue. These people have zero clue what they're doing. STAY AWAY!!!! PS-- If you try to cancel they will give you hell and try to squeeze one last month out of you and go through so many hurdles. read more

This manager is not friendly. Far from it. This is the second time she has spoken in a rude way with no respect for the clients. It's a shame because lash techs are really sweet and helpful but the management is far from it. Definitely go to a different location if you have the option. read more

You have to sign up from their " membership" on your first visit, before you realize that the lashes they put on will just fall out in four days. I have been a member since December 2018 and im so done with this place. The front desk staff (including the manager) is impolite, rude, and lacks customer service skills. My monthly membership saves me $9 a month and that doesn't include the additional fees I have to pay for a master or volume lashes, usually an additional $20-45. My lashes always fall out the same day and if I'm not happy with the service they do not offer to "fix" it. This has been extremely frustrating considering each time I visit I pay to be scheduled with a master. Do not waste your money here. I NEVER leave reviews, ever, but my experience here was so terrible that I felt it my duty to warn others. I've been getting lash extensions for year so I'm pretty knowledgeable about the process and what's good and bad. My lady was booked and I neeeeded lashes before I went out of town. My friend recommended Amazing Lash as she had used them in the past and they were great, so I took a chance, a bad chance! 1. They changed my appointment time to an hour later without calling to ask if that was okay, they just sent an automated text. 2. I did not receive a senior stylist as I requested and was promised I would receive on the phone making the appointment. 3. The stylist shows me the lashes she is going to put on. They are fan lashes, or clusters as some would call (6 thin lashes clustered together, to place on one of your individual lashes, so basically if ONE of your individual lashes SIX are really falling off, so you lose volume quick). I was ASSURED on the phone that they did NOT use fan lashes, all individual. 4. They looked great when she finished and I was pleased. Therefore I signed a membership agreement because I was happy with the way they looked and $60 a month sounded like a good deal for the way they looked. 5. My eyes stayed bloodshot red for 4 days after at least, no matter what kind of eye drops I used. This has never happened with any kind of lashes before. 6. FIVE DAYS of having them 3/4 of them were completely gone. They looked awful. I take care of my lashes too, no oil products, no direct water contact, sleep with an sleeping mask, etc. Nope, they were gone. 7. I began calling the next week to speak to a manager and cancel my membership. I wanted her to be aware of how terrible the customer service promises were as well as the product. Low and behold I called every day for a week at all times of the day and a manager was never on duty and the front desk could not help me. 8. A manager finally called me after I responded to an automated text. At first she was not willing to let me cancel my membership but after expressing all of my frustrations from even before my first appointment she agreed. Moral of this rant. Brittany Maxey is truly a diamond in the rough! I've used several amazing lash technicians at various locations over the years,who I thought were all good,as well as gone to other places. I've typically always done the volume lashes(more dramatic) and Brittany's work is hands down the best I've ever had! She takes her time,explains why/what she's doing,is so sweet,and the best part is my lashes have never looked or felt better! Make sure you call decently in advance to get in with her because her schedule fills up pretty quickly. After one visit though you'll understand why!!! So this story starts out sad but ends up with happily ever after! I went in to get my first set of lash extensions. They looked awful and it took twice as long as expected. I was so unhappy. THEN I met Pamela. She's a master stylist and worth every penny! She re-arranged her schedule for me and spent an hour fixing what had been done. Don't get a random stylist here. Ask for Pamela. Bring a picture of what you want and she can do anything. Never going back to strip lashes. I'm a perfectionist with my makeup and it's absolutely gorgeous what she does with my lashes. AMAZING LASH McKinney RIPPED ME OFF!You should be adding lashes for the entire hour we are paying for or charge by the lash! You don't get to do both! My stylist Sable was awesome, love her personality and she does a great job. This is a management problem! Worst customer service. I admit I was 10 minutes late for my 10:50 appointment, I arrived at 11:00 and I own that. When I arrived no one was at the front desk to greet me so I just sat there without being checked-in. Also another client walked in and no one was there to check her in either. Her stylist saw her when she walked in and escorted her right on back. The young lady stated "hey, I haven't checked in yet" and the stylist said "it's okay, you can do it after" I'm still sitting there. The manager Caitlyn (sp) suddenly appeared to check me in after 5 mins. I was checked in at 11:06. My stylist said because I was late, I would not be able to get all of my lashes filled. I replied no problem, just fill my lashes until my appointment ends at 11:50. When I walked out IT WAS Only 11:40!! When I called the manager to inquire about why my ONE HOUR refill was cut short by 11 minutes, the manager Caitlyn said she would call me RIGHT back. 4 HOURS LATER, after numerous attempts to get a response Caitlyn finally called me and indicated, and here's the KICKER FOLKS..."Your stylist is faster so you only get a 50 minute appointment" but you charged me for an hour! Her response "you should have been on time" If you don't charge by the lash, how can you reduce someone to a 50 minute appointment before they get there? YOU won't know how many lashes it will take to complete their refill! You should be adding lashes for the entire hour we are paying for or charge by the lash! You don't get to do both! My stylist Sable was awesome, love her personality and she does a great job. This is a management problem! AML Old Towne made this right for me and I thank them, they were apologetic and offered me to come in right away to add more lashes (separate franchise owner by the way). read more

Horrible service, I have come in multiple times and had to wait over 20 minutes after the time that I made my appointment for. This most recent time I came in for my appointment only to be told that my appointment is actually 30 minutes after they told me on the phone, I ended up waiting 45 minutes total. They also purposely use glue on your lashes that doesn't last long so you have to come in more often to get your lashes refilled. Huge waste of time and money. read more

Pamela Tate is amazing !!! She is the only person I will let do my lashes. I have had many problems in the past with fake lashes , but not since ive been coming to her. Def recommend. However, I hate how they don't have Pamela's name on the online booking. I have brought this up with them and it still isn't fixed. Very frustrating. read more
