I submitted a Loss Assessment claim related to an HOA emergency assessment, and neighboring State Farm policyholders within the same HOA submitted claims arising from the same assessment using the same HOA documentation. Their claims were approved, while mine was denied. Despite asking for clarification, I was not provided with an explanation that helped me understand why the outcomes were different. I have been a State Farm customer for decades and have always valued the service and relationship I had built with the company. Unfortunately, my recent experience with the claims process was extremely disappointing. Throughout the process, communication was unclear and inconsistent. I received limited updates, and at various points I was informed of a denial while additional information was still being requested or reviewed, which made it difficult to understand the actual status of my claim. My concern is not simply that my claim was denied. My concern is the lack of transparency, communication, and consistency in how the claim was handled. After many years as a State Farm customer, this experience was frustrating and disappointing.

Home insurance company disregarded my payment instructions and refuses to fix their error. Today, I found out that the Low Gas light on my car is apparently broken. I found this out, sadly, by running out of gas on my way to the gas station. Fortunately, I broke down in the street right in front of Jim's office. Crazy, but true. A very nice police officer showed up shortly thereafter. I mentioned that office, right over there, is my agent's - and I was just going to call for road service. Turns out Jim was the officer's agent, too, so we both headed over instead. I let the receptionist - who I found out later was Jim's daughter - know what was up, and rather than call for a tow, she offered to drive me the short jog over to Meijer, where I grabbed a gas can ($9? Seriously?!) and some fuel. Anyway, it was pretty much above and beyond what I expected. I hoped they'd just call for a tow, but all things considered, this was 100% better. Just great service from a great agent.

The other driver was also represented via State Farm. I was clipped by another driver as I started to "veer" over (not crossing the marked lines). It was a construction zone and the other driver had switched over to the turn lane and sped up to pass illegally. He was trying to leapfrog back into my lane. The other driver then tried to leave the scene. I had to pursuit him to get him to pull over. Because I said the word "veer", I was found to be at fault. I called "my agent" (Jim Spachman) to describe what had happened. He told me that there is/was nothing he could do to help. Like a good neighbor? More like the sleazy local bill collector! While someone like myself, that struggles with monthly finances (because of things like insurance rate increases), Jim is off on another fun and sunny vacation. Thanks Jim! Hope you choke!

Country Financial Life Home Car Insurance is a Lying Dirty Dishonest Insurance Company…read more I'm a past client of Country Financial Insurance for over 20 years. I filed my first claim after over 20 years. Country Financial Insurance went to great lengths to avoid paying a claim. They even went as far as lying to State of Georgia Office of Commissioner of Insurance Fire and told several lies with ease. They LIE BY OMISSION. THEY PRETEND YOU'RE NOT THERE SO THEY DON'T HAVE TO ANSWER FOR SAYING NOTHING! They're very good at the deception. They claimed to have had my car inspected for secondary damages. They claimed to have identified the problem and fixed the problem. They don't care!!! State of Georgia Office of Commissioner of Insurance Fire cannot help you. Their exact words were "Our office role in 3rd party liability claims is greatly limited and is primarily confined to ensuring that the other person's insurer is conducting a reasonable investigation".
