My grievance is never about the legality of practicing multiple areas of law; it is about the quality of the work product delivered and the lack of professionalism displayed. Due Diligence: You dismiss errors as 'preliminary typos,' the draft I received contained incorrect legal entity names and basic spelling mistakes (such as 'indivdual'). For a $50,000+ litigation matter, accurate naming of the defendant is not a 'minor typo'--it is a fundamental requirement of legal due diligence. Exorbitant Billing: I do not dispute that research takes time; however, billing 8 hours ($2,256) for a five-page complaint that still required significant manual correction by the client is a poor value proposition. Administrative Incompetence: The lack of organization extended to the refund process. You were waiting for me to provide a 'Zel' account (misspelling Zelle yet again) to return my unused retainer. Despite my explaining twice that a phone number or email is all that is required for a bank transfer, you became defensive and hostile, accusing me of calling you a 'liar.' Note to any reader or potential clients, I even explained because we both have Bank of America (BOFA) accounts, the process is super simple and seamless. False Advertising: Her website promises a 'free consultation,' yet I was charged $564 for our initial meeting which truly caught my surprise A professional attorney should be an asset, not a liability that the client has to audit line-by-line. I am sharing this experience so other members can make an informed decision regarding the competency and temperament of this office."

Faked an email address, without telling me, submitted the application with that fake email address, not just that, then she forgot the password and did not check the fake email she did for a year, USCIS sen many notices, I missed because of her genius ways. Its like a ten fuck ups in one story, she should not work as a lawyer. Ruined my application on so many ways, all over the place and do not remember anything.

Warning Based on My Experience with a Guardian ad Litem…read more I would like to share my experience with a professional who was appointed as the guardian ad litem in my child's case, in the hope that others do not make the same mistake I did. Unfortunately, this individual is far from the impartial and committed representative that a child truly needs during a legal process. Her work was shallow, lacking depth or meaningful investigation. She did not properly analyze the evidence or consider all the relevant aspects of the case. In my situation, she based her assessment almost entirely on interviews with the child's father and his relatives, while completely disregarding my request to have members of my family interviewed. According to her, that information was "irrelevant" and would only lead to unnecessary expenses--despite the fact that I paid for half of all the services she supposedly provided. This guardian did not act as a neutral voice for my child in court. Instead, she repeated the father's claims without scrutiny, showing a clear bias and undermining the integrity of her role. During her visit to the father's home, she interviewed my son in his presence, failing to offer him the privacy and safe space needed to speak openly. As a result, my son was put in an extremely uncomfortable and distressing situation, feeling pressured to accept statements that were not true. Even when she received therapy reports that documented these concerns, she showed little to no interest in the child's position or emotional well-being. In court, her testimony echoed the exact words of the father, rather than offering a balanced and factual perspective. When I suggested that she interview members of my family--just as she had done with the father's--she refused and later described my message as a "nasty email," which I found highly unprofessional and dismissive. This individual did not advocate for the child's best interest, nor did she demonstrate a fair, investigative, or ethical approach. Her role seemed limited to collecting payment and recommending therapy for everyone involved, rather than actively working to understand the dynamics of the case. She was uncommunicative, showed no initiative to investigate thoroughly, and ultimately failed to uphold the responsibilities of a guardian ad litem. It is incredibly disheartening that individuals who carry the title of "professional" can so profoundly mishandle the hopes of parents and the needs of innocent children. We seek justice and protection for our children in court, and we deserve guardians who are ethical, impartial, and truly committed to being the voice of the child. In my experience, this person was none of those things.

Throughout my case, she failed to communicate effectively, often leaving me without updates or guidance during critical moments. One of the most upsetting aspects of working with her was her complete lack of empathy, especially regarding my son, who is nonverbal and on the autism spectrum. It was clear from the beginning that she had no knowledge or experience dealing with children with autism, and she made no effort to understand or accommodate his needs. She Also Lied and stated she to had a daughter on the spectrum when clearly that was a lie. Who lies about their child having special needs it made me feel as she was mocking or not taking my child's disability seriously. She also compared my child to another child on the spectrum and if she had the proper knowledge about autism she would have know. That no 2 children on the spectrum can be compared. Her dismissive attitude toward his condition was not only unprofessional but also deeply hurtful. Additionally, there were serious concerns about a potential conflict of interest that were never properly addressed. Instead of advocating for my family, she seemed far more focused on financial gain than on doing what was right or ethical. If you're looking for a lawyer who is compassionate, reliable, and truly committed to serving your best interests--especially in sensitive family matters--I would strongly advise seeking counsel elsewhere
