My experience with Covar Law Group as a job candidate was disappointing and raised concerns about…read moretheir professionalism and hiring process. After interviewing, I was verbally offered a position. Before accepting, I simply requested that the compensation, benefits, and terms of employment be provided in writing. In my experience, this is a standard and reasonable request for any professional considering a new role. Instead of providing the offer details in writing, I was told that my request indicated a lack of trust. During the conversation, I was also told about how much money the firm makes, which I found completely irrelevant to my request. A company's financial success has nothing to do with whether a prospective employee should receive a written offer outlining compensation and benefits. What concerned me most was the apparent expectation that I should accept employment based solely on verbal discussions. As a professional, I believe both employers and employees should have clear documentation of the terms being agreed upon. They refer themselves as "not the typical firm" which is code as do as I say and don't ask questions. complete opposite behavior of respectable law office. The overall process felt disorganized, and the unwillingness to provide basic employment terms in writing was a major red flag for me. I cannot recommend this firm based on my experience as a candidate. I CANT IMAGE HOW THEY WOULD BE AS COUNSEL FOR YOUR LEGAL NEEDS.

Being on the other side of the country in California, I was in need of an honest attorney who could adequately represent me in Florida (where the breach occurred and defendant currently resides) whom I could trust and who would provide meaningful insight around my situation. William and his firm accomplished just that, and for a very reasonable and honest price. We discussed exactly what he would be delivering and he was able to give me an accurate, up front estimate of cost which he stuck to despite some of the eventual complications in the case (caused by the deadbeat whom I was filing against, not by Legal Advocates). Without getting into the details, William executed my case to get it to the best possible outcome given my precarious situation, is obviously a very knowledgeable and astute attorney, was always available and very responsive, and went above and beyond to help me with my case (and actually now 6 months later is helping me with some follow up for no additional charge given the nature of my final judgement). You can simply tell he is dedicated to his profession, honest, and stuck to exactly what he noted he was going to do. Would highly recommend William and his partner. Thank you, Legal Advocates.
