I immediately stopped therapy at this point with this chiropractor and had to seek medical attention with my family doctor. My family doctor prescribed an MRI and surgeon to discuss the results. MRI diagnosis from Spinal surgeon in Huntsville TOC a week later was a herniated disc at C7-T1. As the pain gradually became unbearable over several months, an ACDF surgery was conducted by Huntsville TOC on July 7th of 2026. Immediate pain relief after the surgery did occur. Dr Lanier knew it was my first time to see a chiropractor so he talked me through the process of my first treatment as he was working on my back so I would know what to expect. It was incredibly helpful to know ahead of time what part of my back he would be working on next. He made me feel comfortable by chatting with me while adjusting my back. The office staff are very welcoming and efficient. They greet everyone in a way that I felt very welcomed. Once you are an established patient (go one time) you can go in anytime during the doctor's hours and get an adjustment without an appointment. I honestly was a bit skeptical about that and thought it would take a long time and that there would be a lobby full of people who popped in, but I have not had to wait more than 10 minutes.
