I've always wanted a Michael Kors bag, but I am also cheap and couldn't wrap my head around spending hundreds and hundreds of dollars on a bag. Also, the bags I really love from Michael Kors are the ones that are more special occasion bags than an every day wear bag, so it was even more of a no-go for me. That all changed when I walked into the Michael Kors outlet on Labor Day, and the yellow bag of my dreams was on sale for $107, a price point I could absolutely get behind. I also fell in love with another small black bag featuring gold chains and matte leather that is perfect for the holiday season. This one was $143 which was a bit of a splurge for me honestly, but I'd seen bags similar to this one go for upwards of $300, so it was too good to pass up. My cashier was friendly and also as excited about my purchases as I was, which goes a long way for me as far as the shopping g experience goes. He even pulled brand new versions of these bags from the back so that I didn't have to purchase floor models that had been tried on before. Oh MK oh MK I love me some MK! Going for my long ride out to Riverhead, of course I had to stop into one of my favorite stores! Michael Kors outlet located in Riverhead, always have amazing sales going on from there wallets, to bags, clothes and more! How can you not leave the store without something! Just browsing through, to see if I can find anything to put into my beautiful Kors collection. As always I fall in love with almost the whole store!! The customer service is amazing, many of the employees are willing to help and even find a new bag wrapped up in the back which I truly love! Wow, what customer service! 6 months ago, my wife was shopping for a new bag. She didn't know the brand too well, of course we heard the name, the brand is everywhere. Are they trendy items? Cheaply made? She wasn't sure so we decided to window shop. She buys a very classic looking bag, no MK label everywhere as well as a small pouch for your cell phone (very important) A few months later, she noticed the strap was fraying. We stop into this store not knowing what to expect. My first thought is, its at the Outlets. They aren't going to care. Maybe if we bought it at a full retail store they might be more accepting of their product. No way. The cashier comes around the counter, apologized up and down and said there are straps in the back. She comes back and said she doesn't have the strap and calls the manager over. More apologies up and down, they decide to give her a full credit for her bag. My wife walks out of the store beaming with a brand new Michael Kors bag. But this bag is bad ass! Suede and made for fun. She's happy, I'm happy, everyone is happy. DON'T BUY MICHAEL KORS PRODUCTS! They used faulty materials. I purchased a pair of Michael Kors metallic shoes (at Macy's) for my daughters wedding. I bought them in April and they were in the box until the day of the wedding on October 1. As I put them on all the gold was flaking off and as I buckled the strap all the gold came off in my hand. I wore them for 1/2 hour and put on different shoes. I called Michael Kors and they told me that they were only warranted for 3 months and there was nothing they could do for me. They were talking about not putting one of the employees on the schedule because she is "mad annoying" and she called out on Black Friday because she supposedly had to take her dad to the hospital. I think this location might be selling knockoffs I have many bags I got in Macy's and have them many years and never had the straps shred. I have only seen this happen on a knockoff. I will start this off by saying that I am in no way a Michael Kors girl, however, this outlet has great deals on some of their classically designed pieces. I have found bags that sell here for far less than Macy's. Though they may not have all of the newest ones here, there are certainly great deals to be found. For Christmas I purchased a great suede bag with buckles for mom for $182.50 (including tax). I thought that was a pretty awesome deal. They also tend to have coupons when you come in the door and during the month of October they participate in the Outlet Center's promotion where you can donate $5 and receive a coupon book (the coupons are quite generous). read more

This review is especially written for the cashier named Ashleigh Ann. She was very rude, she demanded for my home address, email and phone number stating that it is for warranty purposes in case something happens to the bags. It's not nice to humiliate your customers. When my friend helped me make another purchase with another cashier so I can avoid her, we were not asked for her info and we purchased a total of 5 bags. Ashleigh Ann is racist and she did not treat Caucasian customers with that attitude. My family and I will never shop at that store again and we do big purchases. read more

Shopped the outlets the other night looking specifically for a purse as a Christmas present. We had an idea of what we were looking for, but really wasn't expecting to find it. First time shopping this brand, had never even been in the store before. Ava greeted us at the door and handed us a 20% coupon. We walked around and it took almost no time to find the most gorgeous bag in the back on the 70% off shelf, of all places. It had a small scuff on it....we took it to the front desk and after no one offered to help us, just asked the cashier if they could do anything about it. The employee said next to nothing and never smiled, but did take the purse and tried to get the scuff out of the leather. She was mostly successful, but still, never said a word about it...not even casual conversation or anything. After walking around a bit we did decide to buy the purse. We got back in line and the same employee who worked on the leather scuff turned out to be our cashier. She couldn't figure out the 70% off price, and again, was very, very unfriendly and standoffish. Great purse, for sure...BUT I am not a fan of the customer service here, at all, and having no incentive to return, will stick to the Coach outlet across the way when needed. read more

I brought my family here since they were visiting from down south and as much as I like shopping at Michael Kors, I'll definitely won't be shopping in Riverhead again! My experience was going fine until my mother brought it to my attention that one of the salesgirls, Kat, was negatively commenting on my appearance. I was checking out a bag and when I went to bend down to take a closer look at it, one of them pointed out my behind and said to another one "have you ever seen anything like THAT before", in a disgusted tone. I was wearing pants. Black pants...not that serious. My mother didn't care for her tone at all. When she told me what they said, I almost put down what I was buying and walked out. I went in with the intention on spending money. I'm a little baffled that these salesgirls have the nerve to immediately judge someone by how they look not knowing where they come from! I think whoever manages that store needs to have a little meeting with their staff...if you really want to point out how fat my behind is, step to the stockroom and talk your smack. You don't know who's walking into your store. I'm a curvy woman, but I work hard at the gym and I diet to maintain my body. I also work very hard at my job every day, and I don't take too kindly to being body shamed while I'm shopping for a handbag.
