This is one of the biggest Tanger Outlets I've ever been to. It got 2 sections full of stores! It even has a H&M, which is weird. The H&M does not even have factory prices! I don't think H&M is even a factory store in Tanger Outlets. I just come here for Saks Fifth Off, J Crew, Calvin Klein, and Ann Taylor factory stores. They always have 50% off in the store. Many good deals and steals that you cannot find anywhere else. Also if you're a Triple A member then you can go into Customer Services to get a free coupon book on the house. Some of the stores don't accept the coupons though from the book if the whole store is going on a big sale. I also come here for Express factory and the store got so many clothes in a bright store that looks like a warehouse. It does not even look pretty at all. The store got so many bright lights. The food court is like nothing. I don't even remember it having food. I remember I was starving and the place got no variety of food. The Calvin Klein store is really good here when you need dress pants. They got so many styles. Their store is also very hip and trendy with nice music in the background. read more

We visited Tanger Outlets Riverhead on a Saturday morning in August. It has different sections and you kind of need to drive between them. The stores that stood out to me were the Ralph Lauren / Polo store, The North Face, and Columbia. The North Face had 50% the marked price which is a great deal. Columbia had a similar situation with a lot of the inventory. I was at a totally different outlet mall earlier the same week and this one was less impressive. I fully acknowledge I would have enjoyed it more had I found more items for myself. I left with nothing! read more

The drive from Queens is long, so get comfortable for the car ride--unless you're the driver, in which case, good luck! Tanger Outlets is massive, with different sections you can drive to--or so I heard, they also have a trolley. We found some great deals, which made the trek worth it. The place is sprawling, so prepare to get your steps in as you explore. And when hunger strikes, they've got a food court to refuel your shopping stamina. We decided to take a short road trip from Queens on Labor Day. Traffic was good going but a bit slower going home. Generally it was an easy drive, right off the LIE. The outlet had plenty of parking. Nice selection of stores, many of them house furnishings. We got some good deals at Jockey and Nautica. They had some food trucks and a kiddie area for their Food Fest. All in all, it was a nice day trip. Will have to check out the Deer Park outlet next time. read more

Wow! This outlet is huge. Lots of really great stores to shop at. It actually is a bit overwhelming. They definitely have something for everyone! We were able to stop at several stores we really like but definitely we did not stop at many. This Tanger outlet is medium-sized and offers a good mix of retail outlets. Being that my partner and I spent 5 hours here, we wished that there were more restaurants. Despite that, the shopping is good! We recommend getting the app to get the coupons and/or buying at the information center. We also recommend staying over 1 or 2 nights within the vicinity to experience the nearby restaurants and other activities (the aquarium, wineries, north/south forks, etc.)...we stayed across the street at the Residence Inn. Here's what we ended up buying: 2 pairs of men's jeans and 1 t-shirt from Levi's 4 pairs of men's chinos from Nautica 1 pair of men's shoes from Clark's 1 men's rain jacket from Eddie Bauer 1 women's jacket from The North Face 1 women's blazer from Express 1 women's sweater from Off 5th 1 pair of women's shoes from Clark's 1 women's fleece sweater from Eddie Bauer read more

Ugh. Not what it used to be some years ago. The amount of traffic/cars here is just too much. And the amount of people not driving properly (read: not signaling, not stopping at the stop signs, letting you in etc.) raises my anxiety level. The sales are nothing to write home about. We were looking for a few things for our home and CB2 prices even at the outlet were outrageous! We found better (and significantly cheaper) at Marshall's/Home Goods/TJ Maxx. We made the trek out here for the pop up science museum and we are happy we had the free admission through our library because if we didn't - that would have also been way overpriced as well ($15 per adult) and it's quite small. So if you are coming out here for that definitely check your library first. I much prefer the Deer Park Tanger outlets to the Riverhead location. More walking and family friendly and way better food options. You won't find the home + furniture stores but you'll find everything else you need. read more

This is my favorite place to shop! Full price was the only way I shopped before they opened Tanger Outlets Riverhead. Now, its the only way. IMHO, the best store is Coach. I've been to the Coach at the 59th st Time Warner center, Coach in the Smithhaven Mall and the Coach here in Riverhead. The sales and quality goods they sell here can't be beat. Why pay full price?? Back in the day, this area had the Riverhead raceway and the motorcycle shop I used to go to when I needed a master link for my dirt bike. When McDonalds came to town and served ice cream sundaes? Mind blown as a kid. I thought that was the coolest thing ever being a city kid and spending summers out here. When this huge Tanger Outlets Outdoor Mall opened, It was a game changer. There are these high end stores selling their products as well as great Mens stores like Tommy Bahama?? I used to pay full price! Never again. Current stores like Lucky Jeans, Off 5th, Polo, Timberland, Columbia, Bass, it goes on and on... During the summer they have a trolley that will take you places around the Outlet center. Me? I never used it. I'm looking for deals baby! Have an electric car? They have chargers available for your convenience. There is a saks off fifth and the Bloomingdales and I think they had some really good selections. Was actually surprised to see how many designer shoes Saks had on the shelf. One of my favorite places for bargain shopping! Coming from Queens is quite easy, it is just one straight drive on the LIE. My partner-in-crime and I come here at least once a year for a shopping date around March. Be sure to sign up for the membership card which is still only $5.00 to initiate and you can get a coupon book each time you shop there. Riverhead location is divided into two sections - Tanger 1 and Tanger 2. The welcome center office for the coupon book is in Tanger 1 and that's all I really do there. Tanger 1 is the quieter side and I personally do not shop on that side since none of the stores really interest me. You can easily walk from Tanger 1 to Tanger 2 but you can also be lazy and drive over! Tanger 2 is where all the excitement is! Of course, it has more of the popular brand name stores for clothing and jewelry. I usually load up on work clothes and casual clothes while I am here. Food court is also bigger with a Starbucks next to it. I thought the food court selection is just okay. I usually stick with Charley's Philly Cheesesteak and Taco Bell and it does the job. At the end of your day, bring all your receipts (yes, food court counts!) back to the welcome center in Tanger 1, to redeem a free gift depending on your day's spending. I love this Tanger outlet! Love coming to Riverhead, I enjoy knowing I'm driving about an hr to get to this place, it's worth it. Usually in the warmer months at least; during winter it's definitely not as pleasant since it's out in the open when walking from store to store. I would say I enjoy going to Aldo, Nike, VS, Carters, Adidas, Banana Republic, and some other ones! I love the prices here and variety of stores! My kids love it too. Bathrooms are okay and are located on each side and corner of what seems to be a " U " shape walk. When it rains, it is a bit complicated as I said it out in the open. I've been coming here since they opened 25+ years ago. I went here in February 2021 and saw many empty shelves due to supply chain issues. It's continuing now, but less so. There are few vacant stores and lots of people shopping, which I was happy to see. Get deals on the Tangers app or at Shopper Services with $10 lifetime membership or with your AARP card. Free parking at the three fields. A trolley takes you around the entire mall. There are buses that take you to the mall from NYC. There's a food court and Starbucks. In short, a wonderful place for gifts to yourself and others and for retail therapy. They have Williams Sonoma, West Elm, Pottery Barn, Restoration Hardware and now Mitchell Gold + Bob Williams. We drive out here a few times a year. It's always a fun day trip for us. The place is separated into 2 sides. There's always plenty of parking. The larger side has a decent sized food hall, with a variety of typical mall food choices. The smaller side has a smaller food hall. We like coming here even though there's another Tanger's closer to Queens, in Deer Park, I believe. But, it's just easier to navigate this one. All the stores are arranged in a near circle. This is a review for Tanger over all. My friend and I used to shop there a lot, but no longer. Ever since the new CEO took over it is horrible. Charging customers to be a member is not worth the price, taking away the customer relations people and their jobs and what they did for the customers was a really bad call. No more free items when you got to certain levels, no more free give aways, NOTHING... NO INCENTIVE. They used to have coupon books that were WORTH the purchase, members got them free, then the coupon books became useless, you had to spend too much to save a tiny bit, then they took away the books and it was all virtual with the same horrible savings and now its basically null and void, AKA REALLY NOT WORTH THE PRICE OR EFFORTS because customers have to do all the work with their receipts for barely any rewards. Oh and birthday rewards??? basically took that away too. Many stores keep shutting their doors. read more

They didn't seem busy on a holiday weekend (President's Day). Guessing it was because of the 30-40 F degree weather. but it was fun to get to be outside We were able to find good bargains. At a glance you can get a feel for what store you want to hit next. Many top designers are located in this Tanger's. The food court in Tanger 2 is pretty big and they have a nice selection of restaurants to choose from. Tanger 1's food court is small with limited selections. I love Tanger. I have been going here for nearly 25 years and it was the "go to" spot for back to school shopping when I was a kid. I prefer this outlet center opposed to the Tanger in Deer Park because it's bigger and much easier to navigate in my opinion. It's organized very well with lots of parking which is great (especially on Black Friday!) They are enforcing safety and social distancing in all of the stores and not letting people in without masks which is comforting and allows for a safe and relaxing shopping experience which I was super appreciative of. Always has great deals nice to walk around and explore. A wide selection of stores for both adults and children so it's an awesome place to tackle all your shopping needs at once. This review is specifically about the NY and Company in Tanger outlets. I was peeved by the appearance of the store when I walked in. There were clothes all over. Normally I cannot shop in those conditions and I usually walk out however I was on a mission for leggings. When I went in the dressing room I was grossed out by huge dust bunnies on the floor. After all the eating adventures that we had all morning, we needed to take a break from food so hubby and I decided to make the rest of our Saturday into a shopping adventure at our favorite Long Island outlet located in Riverhead, NY (at the end of Long Island) but unlike other outlets, there are no tolls to pay and traffic is minor because there isn't a lot of other attractions in that part of L.I. It took us about an hour and a half to get here coming from Queens, which is a decent distance but much closer if we were coming from home. We have been here countless number of times in the past 10+ years because it is a good shopping go-to spot. This outlet has 2 sections: Tanger 1 and Tanger 2, which has its own parking in both sections. You can walk back and forth to both sections without a problem based on your preference or drive if you're too lazy to walk. It has a bunch of stores depending on your style, taste and budget. Just to name some stores, which are our favorites: Nike, Under Armour, Ralph Lauren, Saks off 5th, Victoria's Secret, Abercrombie & Fitch, True Religion, Brooks Brothers, Lacoste, Calvin Klein, Armani Exchange, Lucky Brand, Ugg, Forever 21, H&M....and many more. There are over 200 stores and 10+ restaurants; one of the best outlet I've been to. You can spend hours shopping here and I recommend going to the Tanger Shopper Services first upon arrival to get a free coupon book before starting your shopping adventure. The coupon book is free and all you have to do is show them the link/ code located in the Yelp app along with your ID. Sales are always a hit or miss but you have a huge selection and don't be disappointed if you don't find anything you like because you still get to spend a day shopping with your significant other (or with your kids, friends, loved ones)...what can be better than that? We will definitely be back again to do some more shopping over the summer. read more

Worst customer service ever. I called two times ahead of time to double check that I could get my books spiral bound and both times I was told that it was possible. I even asked if it was okay that I had 582 pages and they informed me that it was ok. So...I drove a hr to come to this since there are no office max's in existence anymore (probably due to their poor customer service), only to be told that they CANNOT spiral bind my book. Ok what? I already called you ahead of time and was told that I could and now after driving for an hour you tell me that it in fact cannot be done? Then you mention that your machine cannot even do more than 500 pages? Well I asked you guys if you could and you said yes but now you're saying no. So.....the manager blamed the girl working the day before about giving me the wrong info. But if you think about it, that only goes to show how poorly your employees are trained. So badly trained that they give their customers false information. So before you point fingers maybe you should spend more time and money to train your employees. I am extremely dissatisfied and the manager did in no way attempt to remedy the situation and didn't seem apologetic at all. I would recommend you go to Staples down the street for better customer service. Don't bother wasting your time here. read more

Tanger Outlets Riverhead is my all-time favorite outlet! I love that there's a West Elm Outlet, Pottery Barn and Restoration Hardware for those into furniture and interior design. For the ladies who are into good bargains and great fashion, there are ample stores for you to spend hours of shopping at - Michael Kors, Gap, J.Crew, H&M, etc. There are also stores that carry cosmetics and perfume at discounted prices. Moms - they have Carter's and toy shops! There's plenty of parking and a decently sized food court with my fave Auntie Anne's. In the Riverhead location they separated this outlet into two big sections both sections having a awesome selection of stores to choose from. They also have the Tanger Coupon Booklet where you can find amazing deals to add an addition savings to your shopping. You can find everything for anyone, and save huge on many items!! I love coming here early in the morning where it is nice and empty! They have a food court but it's nothing Grand. Of course you can get yourself some Starbucks, McDonald's and more, but I would rather eat outside of the Tanger Outlet. This is a pretty big outlet. So much so that is separated into two sections. It has all the stores you would want and more. I went the day after Christmas so you know it got a bit crazy by the afternoon. Some stores had lines just to get in. But, it was a great sale going in most stores so I dealt with it. I'll will return here on big sale days. The food court could use some work. Went to the Nathan's in Tanger 1 and the lady behind the counter took my order and money put the items in the fryer and then walked away without saying a word and did not return for at least 20 minutes. This made me so angry especially because the food in the food court is so expensive and I was so hungry. She was the only one working the station. As the food she had put to cook started beeping since it was done. A couple of people from the other station came and pulled the food out the walked away. And no one seemed to know where she went. There was no manager to speak to. This did taint my experience here. The service there needs to be improved. read more

One of my favorite outlets! They have an amazing selection of stores. Furthermore, they each have a variety of quality stuff for AMAZING prices. Riverhead is far out east, but it is worth it for the deals and STEALS! I frequent here every time I visit my family. How can anyone say anything negative about this place! The Tanger Outlets out the best in name brand shopping. They offer top designers at a discounted price. I have been going to the Riverhead location for years. They are also clean and well kept. They have a huge staff on premise cleaning daily. This place operates with much class. They even offer a shuttle if your tired of walking there two large facilities. I also enjoyed the food court. They have great choices to choose from. The vending machines also take credit card, What more do I need to say, I love that because I never carry cash! They are open late too, you never have to feel rushed. This is a great place to shop for a birthday gift or a gift for a loved one. I never realized that there are Tanger's all over the country, but trust me I will go to each one.
