I came here two times in the past week, once to browse and then again to purchase. I stopped in, in search of a new pair of sunglasses which when I went over to where they all were, I couldn't find a price on any of them. No tag or no sign nearby. Lo and behold, I did find a pair that I really, really liked on Tuesday. I went home and tried to find them online, but to my luck I couldn't find them anywhere. When I came back on Thursday and was approached by a sales associate asking if I needed any help and I told him the exact pair that I wanted. He bent down and looked in the drawer where all of the new fresh pairs were kept. He takes out a pair and says oh these are them, and I said "no, I'm sorry they're not, they're not the right color." He said, "yes they are, they are the same model number as the one you just showed me." (Rodinara MK5009). I told him that through my research I noticed that there are four pairs they go under this model number, but they are just different colors (Silver, gunmetal, rose/pink, and gold). He said, "oh well, we just go by the MK4digit here." You could tell he was getting slightly flustered because it was apparent that I was more knowledgeable in the product that he is supposed to be selling to me. Thankfully not too long after, we found the exact pair that I wanted and I went up to the register. During checkout, I felt extremely rushed. I understand it's supposed to be a quick transaction, you know, the usual swipe your card, sign, etc., but it just seems like he couldn't wait for me to leave so that he can move onto the next potential customer. It's funny that I've bought several articles of MK clothing at Macy's, but don't often think about going into the outlet since all you see in the window is purses. But, twice in a row when I've needed an outfit/dress for special occasions (a wedding and my birthday) MK has come through and had just the right thing for me! I'm honestly not a fan of the bags, and that's just a personal preference but I am a fan of the clothing. When I was just there it seemed that most, if not all, of the bags were all synthetic. If I'm at an outlet spending ~$150 on a bag, give me the real leather! Now if you don't want leather and prefer synthetic, they've got some good looking bags. Anyway, I was here looking for a dress to wear to a wedding but when I saw that all but one rack of clothes said to take an extra 60% off the ticketed price, I ended up grabbing any and everything I liked that was my size, or close to it, and trying it on. I ended up with 4 dresses, a pair of jeans and a sleeveless top for only $130 including tax!!! It was unbelievable, I'm not sure how often they offer an additional percentage off, but when I got to the register she said it was an additional 20% off! There were a few things in the store that the extra 20% off didn't apply to, but luckily I wasn't shopping for those (sunglasses, perfume and selected bags). It was amazing and this was definitely the big hit of my day. The store was bright and clean and when the woman that was helping realized what I was looking for, or even what my boyfriend started looking at while I was in the dressing room, she started looking in the back and bringing me more things to try on! She was great and I wish I knew her name. I'm definitely a huge fan now and this will be one of the select stores I stop in every time I come to Clinton! I've been waffling between 4-5 stars, and I'm going with 5 for the deals and service and overall experience. The only thing pointing me to 4 were those synthetic material bags, but since I wasn't really shopping for bags and I was there for clothes, I decided to stick with 5. read more

It's like heaven, if heaven is made of leather and full of pretentious salespeople! In all seriousness, for the ladies with an affection for expensive handbags, the MK outlet allows you to fulfill your needs at a slightly discounted price. Still not cheap, but more reasonable than if you were to buy the bags at Nordstrom. And we all know what it means when you get a purse at a discount price...it means you can now afford to buy the matching wallet! Now that everyone and their sister owns a Coach bag, I've moved on to MK. I don't always find something I like, but sometimes I hit the jackpot. The staff obviously work on commission, because they fall over each other trying to help you. Which works out well for the customer because they are so eager to please. Last time I was there, buying a lovely spring bag, an employee simply overheard a conversation I was having with my husband and ran over with a wallet that doubled as a wristlet. Exactly what I was looking for! You can't beat that. Make sure to stop by the management office first for the AAA coupon book, and you'll save a little more. read more

I would honestly give this business a negative rating if at all possible. I recently wanted to exchange a damaged bag that I was given at Christmas and the customer service that sounds really good on paper does not live up to the hype.. when I pulled the new bag out to use, I observed that the zipper is misaligned and cannot be used. When I returned it to the store, they said that I needed to go through the online service. Needless to say, after pulling my AMEX bill showing the purchase, I was told that it is too bad, not the original receipt and there is nothing they will do for me. I am shocked that a brand new bag, with tags still in place and packaging material inside from this business will not be stood behind. The craftsmanship on this bag is horrendous so I am out a couple of hundred dollars with a useless bag in my hands. Please do yourself a favor and don't ship here. They talk a good game about standing behind their products but when the time comes to stand behind them, they make every excuse as to why they won't. I will never shop this store again. If anyone is looking for garbage bag, I have one that you can put your trash in. read more

I hit a really good 50% off sale over the Christmas holiday. The store wasn't super packed and the staff was really helpful, as I'm super picky. The inventory was really good for such a small outlet store. read more

I don't know how this store is even getting good reviews. The staff here are extremely rude and pretentious. I went here dressed very casually, no make-up, etc. and the girl who greeted me at the door (a young blonde who I've seen here on several occasions) gave me a nasty look like I didn't belong there. She was very unwelcoming and it made me feel uncomfortable, so I ended up leaving. Not for nothing, but I typically buy luxury items from Chanel and LV and every time I have gone into those boutiques - whether I was dressed to the nines or coming from the gym - I have received impeccable service. These young girls who work at MK need some serious attitude adjustments. I would have dropped a substantial amount at the store that day because I was looking for gifts for 10 people (bridesmaids for a wedding), but ended up bringing my business to Kate Spade (which on a side note has MUCH better quality and elegance than MK). read more

Michael Kors customer service was excellent and I was able to return a bag and get a gift card to apply it to another handbag of my choice. I contacted the Clinton Crossing Outlet to see if they carried my old pocketbook since it was over a yr old. They went above and beyond to accommodate me. Regina, Jessica , Kelly were so helpful and patient sending me pictures of the pocketbooks and holding them until I received my gift card from warranty dept at Michael Kors. Mitchell the manger at the Clinton store waived the shipping cost and I received my purchase the next day, This excellent customer service from both places would make me only buy a Michael Kors handbag. It is so worth the money to get a great handbag and also to get their support as a customer is wonderful. Not only did I replace my old pocketbook with the gift card, I also purchased a smaller bag that I will get a lot of use out of when you don't want to use the everyday pocketbook. My daughter got a wallet for Christmas and we went to exchange it and I was told no returns and no exchanges with out a receipt. The sales person was very rude and would not get a manager. I did not want to return it just an exchange. I will never recommend the store and the salesperson needs a lesson in "who's the boss...the customer"!! Certainly this was extremely disappointing from an upper end store. I have worked retail for 20 years and never experienced anything like this. read more
