Overall a decent outlet mall. Definitely the better option between the other outlet mall in the area (Westbrook). Decent selection of stores to choose from. I live less than an hour from here, yet this is the first time I've ever visited. Rather than take the train into NYC, my son and I decided to try our luck at the outlets today. We're glad we did! It's an easy drive, and there is plenty of free parking on site. Tons of upscale stores are available, and even a few food trucks. I haven't been here in a while but I really love these outlets. I came for the Paranormal Cirque III experience. Before you went to your seat there was a mini haunted house. It was pretty good. I liked that a lot! The show was funny,spooky, & entertaining. I would def go back. They had strawberry covered chocolates for $10. The strawberries were juicy & the chocolate was yum! I really enjoyed this outlet. I visited from California and was thrilled with the selection of stores here. I have never seen a Downey and Burke outlet so I had to get me a purse, but I really wanted three. The service was okay in the stores, no one in Coach asked me if I was looking for something in particular. In D&B, I did find a good deal. I will be back next time I'm in CT. read more

Nothing exciting. I tried to get a coupon book from customer service only to find out that they are no longer offered and Security told me to sign up online for the coupon book. Went to a couple of stores and didn't find any good deals. Maybe I went during a bad time of the year as the prices were pretty high in every store I visited. Plenty of parking on-site and 2 food trucks inside the outlet center serving Chinese dumplings and Mediterranean food. There is also a few kiosks selling food and snacks as well. There is only one restroom facility for such a huge outlet and the entrance to it is not clearly identified or marked. read more

A nice but small outlet. As usual I am finding that a "outlet" is not much different that a regular mall. You can find items you like that have been taken out of circulation sometimes but usually not any better deal that a regular mall. Still a nice place to walk around and window shop. NO place to eat unless you are here on the weekend when the food trucks are open BTW. read more

I'm constantly surprised by these outlets. In a time where I see closed stores everywhere they have managed to maintain decent hours and a good amount of stores. It was busy but crowds were mostly masked indoors. Vineyard Vines just opened so we will be stopping there more. There are garbage cans in so many places which is likely why you don't see as much rubbish laying around as you do at other centers. Definitely spend a few hours here on a day off and stimulate the economy! Just be prepared if you go on the weekend it will be busy because it's worth the trip! read more

Never again!!! Food truck that only takes orders via their kiosk should be avoided. Choice appeared on the kiosk, but was not currently available. We've already paid by card. We were offered an alternative instead of a refund. Food quality, service, wait time, and portion servings are all subpar. "To go" option was selected, but food was placed in a plate that is normally used to serve chicken tenders and fries. It was supposed to be a meat/fish order served with rice that turned out as a kid's meal. Rice was also crusty. Limiting customers for supplies, no spoon, no napkin. Not worth the price!! The owners should check large food businesses that offer same price or less for a higher value. Good luck!! read more

Decent size outlet not far away from out home. I usually go to check out the Nike, Adidas, UA, NB, and PUMA stores to look for good deals. Sometimes you're lucky and sometimes you are not. When I go I avoid the weekends, and especially Black Friday way too crowded. I prefer a weekday in the morning to visit. read more

We shopped in a variety of stores here but I didn't take pictures of thats. What i cane to talk about is the food from the Amazonia Barbecue Food Truck. Omg the barbecue pork ribs was delicious!!!! Along with the fried ripe plantains with a side of salad. My sister got the pork kebabs with green plantains and that was also delicious. I would definitely recommend. We went during the week so a lot of persons weren't there. The service was okay. We had to wait while they prepared our food so we sat near by and when it was ready they brought it over to us. Living in Rhode Island, my go to shopping for outlets is usually Wrentham Outlets in Massachusetts, but my husband and I had planned a daycation in CT so figured we'd stop by Clinton Outlets and check it out. I thought it was going to be similar to Wrentham since it's also owned by Simon Property Group, but boy was I wrong. This place is not well maintained at all. We got here on a Sunday morning for Labor Day weekend when they first opened at 10am and many of the stores had dirty doors with fingerprints all over them, the stores all seem to have a smaller selection than the stores in Wrentham, and the restrooms were gross. The restrooms were the worse. Going into one at 11am, I would have expected it to be clean since it just opened, but it was far from that. The doors to the stalls do not properly close and none of the hand soap dispensers had soap in it !! Good thing I had my hand sanitizer on me! But that just really grossed me out that they haven't even filled their soap dispensers on a weekend that I am sure is going to be super busy. Just the thought of hundreds of people using the restroom with unwashed hands touching door handles to stores and clothes (during a pandemic!) was enough for to me to leave and end my shopping trip. Clinton is like any other outlet malls where you will find the standard set of stores. The premises is neat and they are pet friendly. The pop-up food trucks during the summer is a cool addition for the shoppers considering the limited options of restaurants and cafes at Clinton. I will be very interested to see if more restaurants and cafes open up at Clinton. I enjoy shopping here and you get good deals as well. I'd avoid shopping during any holidays because the stores are a mess and very unorganized. read more

Finish Line sneakers- We were greeted with employees bad mouthing another coworker. Store was empty except for my 12 y/o son and I. When I asked to see two sneaker styles in 2 different sizes, an employee brought back both sneakers in one size, no mention of the other size I requested. One box only had one shoe in it so I had to see if I could match it with a display sneaker while the same employee watched me from the register. Laced the sneakers ourselves and tried them on. Once he decided which he liked, she calls over to tell my son that he has flat feet. She has not seen his feet except from the register, far away. I told her he doesn't but she insisted "he's flat footed and needs inserts, ma'am." He looked at me nervously. I would have left without the shoes if my son wasn't excited about them. Nice mix of stores and--like all outlet malls--right off the freeway, too! The architecture of the mall is very Cape Cod/East Coast, and I appreciated that it isn't like some outlet malls that are essentially just giant strip malls. There are several buildings, so make sure you check out all of the buildings before returning to your car. I also enjoyed that they limit smoking to some areas and the stores are vigilant about shooing members of the Black Lung Crew over to those areas (I saw it happen!) when they are not complying. Another nice bonus here was the addition of food trucks! Having visited outlet malls in nearly a dozen states, I can't say that I have ever seen this before and enjoyed grabbing a slice of pizza on the way back to the car with all of my deals! read more

You can literally find everything here. Although the trip is a bit long from where I live I prefer to shop here because I am often able to find what I am looking for and even what I did not know was there. This is a great place to shop for a variety of items. They have a large selection of name brand stores. These stores discount many items, however some items are full price. I feel that a lot of the discounted items are last year's styles . I like the Adidas outlet to get sneakers. I go through two pairs a year and they have great markdowns. This place is best in the summer, seeing all the stores are accessed from the outside. It's also festive during that time, with the food trucks and people enjoying the warm weather. This outlet is a huge bonus to this area. Decent shopping here is really limited, but Clinton brings it when it comes to alternatives to Target in the southeast CT area. I do have to agree that some of the stores within the outlet aren't worth your time or your money, but the ones that are worth it, will make your shopping life so much easier. My must visits are the white-girl essentials; BCBG, Kate Spade, Cole Hahn, Michael Kors, Black House White Market, and Coach. I also loved the beauty store with discounted Bumble and Bumble products, as well as Origin and MAC. Off 5 for Sax 5th Ave is a not to miss, with great brands like Tory Burch, Balenciaga, and Prada. The food and drink selection for refueling while shopping is pretty bleak, but they make up for it with super friendly and helpful store clerks, and beautifully clean and organized stores. Bathroom however makes this lose a full star, with stories of horror I'd rather not discuss. Just hold it. Will be absolutely returning however despite the bathroom blemish, because they have all my designer needs at a steep discount over driving to the actual stores in NY or west CT. read more

I agree with reviews left regarding outlet shopping in the age of covid. However- while it was certainly an inconvenience, it is worth it if it means keeping humans safe. I can sacrifice not shopping in the Nike store if it means someone lives or even doesn't get sick. So I am not going to bash the outlets for the lines- that Indicates they are doing their best. Note to the general public- if the mask isn't covering your nose- then don't bother. If you are coming to the outlets for Nike, polo, Vera Bradley, under armour, adidas, Michael Kors - be prepared to wait in line (~15-20 minute wait on tax free Thursday). Otherwise I got two sweaters and a shirt from lucky brand for $26 and two skirts and capris from jcrew for $41. My kids got new crocs (when did they get so expensive???) Gap could have limited their numbers a bit more- i felt uncomfortable with the proximity of the other shoppers- but the best deals for my seven year old were found here. Many stores were offering teacher/student/first responder discounts- just ask! read more

Decided to bite the bullet and start some holiday shopping early. I am a notorious dec 24 shopper. Figured why not give the outlets a shot. The outlets are easy to access and there are multiple choices to shop. I did notice that all the stores use the same tag. An example 80 percent off of everything except everything that you would want to buy. The prices in most cases were the same or even higher than I found on line and in other stores. I suppose some of the appeal is that there are multiple choices in a single location but honestly I bought absolutely nothing. I did find a great winery within two miles of the location so at least I did not waste the day. read more

This is such a nice place to shop. I took my son here in the stroller about two weeks ago. I came here just to browse as well as in search of a new pair of sunglasses (that I ended up purchasing from Michael Kors). Typically Under Amour products are NEVER and I mean Never on sale anywhere, but at the outlet here they are! I was able to score some graphic tees for my husband, I think they were only like $15 each! The Vera Bradley store and bright and inviting. The Yankee Candle store though was kind of off, unless perhaps that's how they run their 'outlets'? I don't know, the jar labels looked really different from the ones I'm used to seeing, they had a bunch of scents that I've never heard of or seen anywhere before. I kind of feel like it's their overstock of of their 'made for big box stores line of Yankee Candle products.' Anyway, this place is a great, clean place to shop. The Sugar Cupcake Truck often parks near the bridge on weekends and there are a few other snack kiosks throughout. Oh, and stop at Fuzziwig's for a candy fix. read more

"Premium" outlets??The bathrooms are disgusting! The smell is horrendous and there are extra rolls of toilet paper just laying on the floor (which are soaking wet from leaking toilets). Stopped by this location on tax free weekend. Big mistake...what a mess! I don't think it's normally like this but avoid this place on tax free weekend unless you really need the tax savings. Parking was a nightmare Lines were crazy in some stores. And the stores were rampaged... the restrooms were filthy as hell. Don't compare it to the other premium outlets... it's small and lacks most big brands.. tanger outlets is a better choice and better deals. I won't be coming back here ever again. The only thing I liked was the delicious pina colada by the food trucks (which might be your only food option). read more

We usually take a ride to Clinton 2 or 3 times a year. There are a lot of good stores here, some of which have notable kids departments...Gap and Polo Ralph Lauren are two that cater to children. Like any outlet center it comes down to luck as it relates to inventory and sales. We usually have level of success and never leave empty handed. Food options are limited so get there early to shop and then grab a late lunch on the water in one of the nearby towns. read more

Clinton Crossings is excellent if you know where to shop.Talbots and Ann Taylor were the first stores to open and clean their dressing rooms.They also have great prices most of the time.
